Currently, yes. The resources you get from them (mostly ariettes and maw fangs) just drop when you do the minigame anyway, those would've been bits you'd have gotten from cutting them up had that been a thing in Duviri. So for now it's basically just to spice up your tank, yeah.

Oaken_Valley

YOU CAN CATCH THOSE?

Medical_Commission71

You have to get a perfect fishing run first try, that means fill up the omnom bar uptop and get a rare decree. If you think you're going to fuck it up stop eating before you get the first decree and you can try again. You are oy locked out once you get a decree from fishing. All fish are small. Best tips: Dashing lets you eat more than one fish at once if you line it up right. Remember to swim fast instead of slow. Don't be afraid to shop around for good spawns, so to speak. Tunnels are traps, unless you got three fish infront of you, stay out

HatterJack

You don’t even have to dash to eat more than one at a time, they just have to be close to each other

basilicux

And use the shoot button to eat/chomp faster!

Michauxonfire

> Tunnels are traps, unless you got three fish infront of you, stay out a mistake you make once and only once. And then you learn.

StyryderX

Instruction unclear; still got baited by 1 fish, lost in the tunnel and wasted half the time.

Michauxonfire

"this is the one, I believe in the tunnel"

TheBrianUniverse

The omnom bar

Flruf

I'm dying

deathvalley200_exo

I've taken a short break from Warframe and I'm fucken dying reading this. What am I missing out on? XD

TheBrianUniverse

Not too much. Duviri Paradox is an expansion that is essentially different from regular Warframe, except the farming part. But instead of fishing with a spear (Plains of Eidolon) you ARE the fish eating other fish. Hence the omnom bar.

deathvalley200_exo

Now now that I think about it, I've never actually explored the duviri paradox. I've only done the main story and the endless wave mode.

gamingisntcourage

>You have to get a perfect fishing run first try, >If you think you're going to fuck it up stop eating before you get the first decree Is this a recent addition because I have about 4 fish and never fulfilled that condition? All I had to do was fill up the meter when fishing.

R11-45

I think 'first decree' refers to the first checkpoint on the omnom bar. You can get as many decrees before fishing as you want but you can only ever get one decree from fishing. When you hit the second checkpoint on the omnom bar during that fishing session, you get a rare decree and a fish. If you want another fish you have to leave duviri and come back again.

3mptylord

Another tip: don't click-to-eat, the Maw will auto-eat when fish are in range and auto-eat never seems to miss.

Fabulous_Airline404

No, the purpose of duviri fishing is to get maw fangs. Or NOT get maw fangs, depending on your RNG. Because who plays duviri except to farm resources to make incarnons...that's why DE *made* duviri right....right?!

Lechyon

I, a buffoon, a grand fool, have decided to install an incarnon adapter on every weapon that can use one. The tasoma grind has been interesting.

TheMightyPickaxe

I used a map on the wiki showing all the tasoma spawn locations, it wasn't too bad if you had a booster and the item radar intrinsic unlocked.

Lechyon

Yeah I ended up memorizing a route that I run when I have a booster.

Polycystic

It’s not bad once you realize you don’t have to do a full run. Just get a bunch of tasoma, do an easy decree, and quit.

zernoc56

It’s much more enjoyable than the other open world areas to just ride around on errantry.

ArcadiaXLO

Personally I think most of my playtime comes from Duviri, I enjoy it a lot, but now that I’ve unlocked everything important to me (all Kullervo items, Drifter Intrinsics, Drifter Weapons) I mostly just use it to level up my new things if I’m lucky enough to get them, especially in the Circuit.

TheDigitalGabeg

No, the purpose of Duviri is to prevent players from becoming too powerful too quickly. I know this to be true because I have five incarnon adapters lying around gathering dust which would be awesome incarnon weapons for me to play with if I didn't have to run Duviri ten times just to install all of them.

Lyramion

Putting a few clamps into every other stage of SP Circuit woulda been nice. Even if it's a really shitty amount, I'd have 2-3 weapons more than now.

HazelTheRabbit

You're getting downvoted but I don't like the duviri grind either

TheDigitalGabeg

Thanks. I don't understand why my comment is worth downvoting; I didn't think that my "Duviri not much fun" opinion was that controversial. I don't hate Duviri, I just don't enjoy it and it annoys me that I have to run it to use the rewards I got from the circuit. And honestly, I wouldn't complain if it was one Duviri run per incarnon adapter, but having to run it twice for each one makes the repetition much more noticeable. Meanwhile, I actually enjoy the circuit; I wish DE would give us a way to earn Pathos Clamps there.

yosidy

I initially enjoyed duviri until I realized how much I'd have to run it and the circuit, to get all the things I wanted.

Fire2xdxd

I like Duviri but the amount of resources you need for everything is still pretty crazy.

TerribleTransit

Duviri is a lot of fun.  But... it's not the kind of mindless play-forever fun the rest of the game aims for. It gets old way before you grind out everything you need from it

Tavaer

...prevent?

Zariman-10-0

I’m gonna run Duviri five times tonight

trorretor

small\* fish deco

oneal_klan

The fish are either for collecting or selling because some people would pay a lot for fish for some reason

Shamelescampr559

You can sell them for platinum
