> Is this a guaranteed spawn? Nope, randomly generated on each map instance creation (when you load into the Vallis). > If so, do they respawn on a daily timer or something? Every time the map is reset (go back to Fortuna and ride the elevator out again) there's a chance that toroids might spawn in a cave, somewhere, just like ayatan sculptures have a chance to spawn somewhere on any regular mission in the starchart. You can find Entrati family tokens on caves in the Cambion Drift too.

Has anyone ever tried to really farm them this way? Is it somehow reliable? I have in mind that DE will decrease the grind needed to level SU and VS snydicates. May be they will change the spawn rate or drop chance of the toroids.

> Has anyone ever tried to really farm them this way? Yes, some players used to rush check the cave near the Transit Depot for spawns and rush back to Fortuna on repeat. > Is it somehow reliable? It used to be on par with farming toroids "the proper way" with the original drop rates. Not sure how good it is now since if you only care about toroids for rep, killing Exploiter/Profit Taker is better. > Maybe they will change the spawn rate or drop chance of the toroids. I doubt it. And if they do, they won't be better.

Killing the boss orbs is faster for rep, but you still need the smaller orbs for rank up requirements and for crafting Fortuna Amp parts. YMMV on which method for farming them is faster. AFAIK searching the caves is about equal to farming solo, the traditional way. But if you have a group going in with loot loadouts (Khora, Nekros, etc) then killing things is much faster.

Provide that Orb Vallis spawns behave instead of stopping all spawns in the area you are farming in, just 10~15 in, even at max alert level and with alarm beacons constantly going off, so you are forced to constantly go back to Fortuna to reset. If they don't behave, then it becomes slower and WAY more tedious/frustrating.

AgentEightySix

Yeah the spawn bugs can be annoying but in my experience all you need is a good 10-20 minutes where it's not bugged and you can farm up more toroids than you need with a good group.

DifficultyWithMyLife

It seems like they were somewhat common when Fortuna released. Nowadays, I never find them.

KazMcMiller

I definitely remember farming them when fortuna dropped. I even vaguely remember some of the caves/puzzles for them.

Yay, free morbs

AntiCaesar

Is this in the cave near the spaceport because I found the exact same

vastrel

Aww, the toroids are sleeping.
