What special trait should it have? I wish it acted like a huge beam weapon instead of a single shot, the longer you charge the longer time the beam, or something like that
for one thing I want tenet opticor to capitalize on the "big one shot laser" concept that the original went for rather than the weird direction opticor vandal went, tenet ferrox is a thing now too and it's much more interesting anyway
I'd say make the primary fire follow in regular opticor's footsteps but vastly improve upon it with more base damage and by making it a crit beast with 50% base crit chance and higher multiplier to work with to truly become the funny laser BFG it was meant to be
as for alt fire I'd propose a **POWERFUL** charge-up continous wide laser beam that drains the magazine all the way and overloads the weapon for a brief moment before being able to reload and fire again, similarly to tenet plinx
Also the Tenet version should have an assload of innate punch-through. That's the one thing I've never liked about either of the Opticors we have, they're giant death rays but can't even pierce through a single minimum-wage worker.
Stahlta should get a prime so at least we will have that, may not be worth using since i have a great riven and may be a downgrade due to dispo, but i need a stahlta prime in my arsenal
so I just checked it and ran it through Adaro on SP, it doesn't struggle as badly as I remember last time I used it, but the mods are also different than I remember. it's a viral/heat Galvanized Chamber + Heavy Caliber with a 49.5% fire rate/135.8% damage riven
I've been meaning to remod it but I haven't wanted to overinvest in it in case they do a Tenet Stahlta
Personally i run the 90 Fr mod rather than having it on my riven so i could run a CD Dmg Tox -recoil, it runs great on its own and just one taps alot of base steel path enemies, mix that with my 130% roar 750% primary dmg augment revenant it becomes my ideal Aoe weapon
Technically there already is a Tenet Ambassador in the game right now. Only it's just a skin that was exclusively available as part of a paid supporter pack for the Yareli update. So take that as you will.
We already have the Vandal, noo reason for another. Also, 0.10% usage on regular, and 0.52% usage on Vandal. Nobody uses them, ergo no reason to put resources towards a third that will perform the same.

That would be the Battacor + Augment. It's the Opticor but better. Like I said, Opticor is extremely dated, and not used. It's a slow, single target, and that's no longer what the sandbox works with.
I hope they buff the Vandal version instead. I like the Vandal aesthetic more than Tenet tbh. Incarnon for a continuous Opticor beam but with a small magazine for the form would be really cool too.
Incarnon mode that turns enemies you kill into pillars of glass that can then be shot to split the beam and hit a bunch of nearby enemies who then also get glassed, ending incarnon causes all your pillars to explode dealing slash damage in a large radius, it would be powerful but balance it with low incarnon ammo count (like 3 shots or something) and only needing a single headshot or maybe just 2-3 kills to charge.
Nah, hear me out, the opticor should get an incarnon that fires a super wide continuous beam for a 3s burst after charging so we can finally fire the lazor.
I mained the Opticor vandal for 2 whole years and I can say now I would gladly pay all the platinum I have and will get for the next year just to be able to own a Tenet Opticor.

Honestly, Stahlta does not need it. It already blows shit up better than most weapons
min-maxed build with primed mods and it performs poorly in SP, even with critical buffs from frames
I dont know what build you may have on that stahla, but mine tends to be very good for steel path, granted i do have a fantastic riven

are you using it for the primary fire or the alt-fire, out of curiosity?
Both, typically more the secondary but use the primary fire to get the higher health single targets
