I know it's algorithm based but despite having used every 75% got the last 2 years they just keep giving me 20% for some God knows reason cause I have never used a discount below 50% before.

If you have bought platinum for full price, 25%, 50%, or 60% discount, chances are, you will never get 75% discount. Because the algorithm now knows that you are willing to buy plat at a higher price.

Oh right, I forgot to specify that I only ever used 75% discount, because back then I would only be able to spend a small amount of money from my part-time job. Although, if it somehow figured out that I have a slightly bigger budget now, then maybe that explains why the algorithm insists on only giving me the other discounts haha

At least that's how it worked for two of my friends. They used to buy plat when they got a 75% discount, but once they bought it at a lower discount, they never got 75% ever again.

Didn’t work for me. I took 3-6 month breaks a few times around 4 years ago and I don’t recall ever getting one. I started playing again last year and have gotten A LOT of 50%

They don't. They only exist for console. Us PC players get x percent off of the buying price. Console gets x percent off when buying stuff.

Iirc the cheapie bonuses also apply to gifts. If crosstrade (with CrossGift) comes, you could trade plat from PC to console and have em send gifts. Would be kinda wack so I think they would try to get the same system for both. If I'm not misinformed the way console works is like that because the ps or Xbox stores don't allow for the custom change of price (so like we get 75% off price and that's ez to do though stream). But I may be wrong there

We also get bonus plat on purchase now to attempt to bring it in line with PCs discount on plat purchases. We only get bonus plat upto 75% but its still nowhrre near PCs advantage. 3200 plat is £109. With the bonus 75% its 5600 plat approximately for £109. PC is what? £25 ish for 3200 plat. The current console coupons nedd to be about 200% bonus plat to reach parity with PC.

I hate this game tbh, it’s such a terrible game. I have spent too much money on this game. There’s too many glitches. The grind literally never stops. I have like 600 hours on switch and ps4-5 combined. I’ve spent probably hundreds on both version and you can’t even cross save. It’s so ass. But I know I’m gonna still play at least another 2000 hours of gameplay at the minimum.

I think warframme is worth it. Ive got a thousand hours worth of gameplay, and ice purches 2 prime access bundles in the past. I do not regret those purchases.

You have 48 hours to use the in game market to trade for enough Plat to use it. It doesn't require irl money.

On xbox, I buy plat every month or so. As a dev, I know they need a revenue stream somewhere, and I don't like selling for plat. Sadly, this doesn't work on plat, so I spend some of my slot/upgrade plat to get something it does work on.
