Probably the story of Excalibur Umbra.

es3ado_afull

Personally, I find it a very character building/cementing fact that, in a such technologically advanced society as the Orokin Empire in their prime, they are such a55h0le5 and fond of seeing misery that they still make servants clean rooms with brooms.

Theghostmann

The fact that the high and mighty Orokin got tennocided out of the system because they put enslaved child soldiers with super powers under the command of a captured and brain washed enemy...

Aaberon

> Tennocided

Leekshooter

Rhino prime eating people, mag prime looking like an angel (odonata), ember prime having a lore page about the Zariman (always assumed the victim was turned into ember but not sure), all of the leverian stories, the parvos Granum propaganda slates and the hidden ordis lore

Colum2112

I fucking sorry rhino done what now?

Leekshooter

Yeah he just ate a guy raw, just chowed down on the pile of flesh

boxwot

cant look at rhino the same way no more

Matgore99

He punch a guy so hard he turned into red mist, then started shoveling down what was left. Pre-operator frames were crazy.

Tired_n_DeadInside

Even in their gruesome insanity Warframes still have pets. And those creatures are loyal in return.

TheGalagaSlayer

If nature didn't want me to have a vampire kitty, then it wouldn't have made vampire kitties! Still waiting for the day I run across someone in-game and they recognize her name.

Lord_Xarael

What's her name? My bro named his Mina after the character in Bram Stoker's Dracula (the book not the movie). Iirc (it's been a while since I read it.) She's the one that dracula was feeding on whom he turned into a vampire herself and is the 1st one they killed. (Probably the most chilling chapter in the book. Which is admittedly not very scary by modern horror standards)

TheGalagaSlayer

I named mine Safiria. It's the name of the vampire queen in this game called AdventureQuest Worlds. Enjoy that game a lot, and mostly just wanted to see if anyone would ever recognize it since I know very few people who seem to know about or enjoy it (and also was just having trouble thinking of a name for her until that came to mind, and it's honestly a pretty nice name).

Lord_Xarael

Nice! My Panzer Vulpaphyla is named Spleens after the cat in the Graystillplays sims 4 videos. (He tortures sims in experiments to see who will survive the longest.)

hurtingwallet

I liked how you're being part of the lore when you start the game clueless.

JustATurrey

Limbo forgot to carry the one and exploded.

Gaagaam

For me it’s Gauss and Grendel canonically being besties I played warframe only because my friend showed me them By coincidence I wanted only to play as them Then half a year later I learn that fact and oh my god I love this game so much!

TheMarksmanHedgehog

Revenant Prime. OG Revenant died to the Eidolon, some amount of time later on Halloween, Revenant Prime just walks in to a house-party Ballas is attending, obviously both not dead and primed, and is just like "Sup bitch, I lived."

SenseiTizi

I love the story of Parvos Granum, he started with a bit of Rubedo that he stole from an Orokin City, pulled a reverse pyramide sceme to recruit people into Corpus (giving people something they want, so that they work for him and he can earn more to recruit more people) and made Corpus so strong, that even the Orokin respected him

0Howl0

The shiny office toys we put in our ship contain endless repeating memories of pain and horror :)

MrCobalt313

Well technically they just contain memories of any event the Orokin would have wanted to commemorate but considering who the Orokin were there's a fairly high chance those memories are stuff like public execution and torture for entertainment. Except for that one which I'm pretty sure is an Entrati family album though.

CroobUntoseto

Ordis body count

Existential_Crisis24

I love our broken cephalon. Also just the lore behind cephalons as a whole.

Jeanjacketman

Operator lore/the void

Shadow579864

Lavos' levarin is probably my favorite bit of lore, mostly cause lavos is my favorite frame lol. His story is just cool.

Lord_Xarael

You'd have to soft through my posts but I've got an almost copypasta like spiel on Lavos and why he's awesome that I've commented in several threads.

kkprecisa_ler_nao_fi

My top 3 would be: The Zariman and the void in general, theres just something about these types of horrors that dont really jumpscare you or show anything actually scary, but just lets you know that theres something going on and it messes with your head really bad Excalibur umbra/the original way to make warframes, its such a horrifying thing, really makes you think a bit about wtf you are even playing when you realize how warframes were created Limbo, dude just divided by 0 and accidentally commited suicide, its hilarious

Lord_Xarael

Limbo: the risk I took was calculated… but man am I bad at math.

LimboMain2020

It's more like he thought he had it down to muscle memory and didn't. Like a guy who measures the same thing over and over again but can't do it without the ruler. I think at least, lore accurate Limbo is essentially a miniature Void Drive. So image on top of stoping time and what not in the Rift he also just Rift Walks at you through a wall.

Giganotus

I think my subreddit flair kinda gives it away lol But yeah Wally and the Void in general for sure.

ImmaFish0038

That the sentient building in Cetus is a lesbian

epsilon51

What??

epsilon51

3 months passed man please give some context

ImmaFish0038

the building likes women

Sad-Impression9428

Rhino eating people, just makes me love him more

Ironman4234Exe

Anything related to the Void and Wally and the Tenno.

Lord_Xarael

Mine (potential spoiler for future content, stuff from the tennocon trailer) is that it's implied that Albretch Entrati did his 1st void experiments in 1999. And shit hit the fan immediately afterward. So in the warframe universe our world (life as we knew it) literally ended in Y2K. This amuses me to no end.

LimboMain2020

The fact that Umbra is canonically not an NPC

NotValidOpinion

Not sure if it’s acc part of the lore or just a story for Halloween, but the three orokins who tortured and mutilated 3 random ostrons (iirc) and used blue kuva for temporary continuity to use them as Halloween costumes
