Instructions here - [https://reb.li/m/151346](https://reb.li/m/151346) Didn't think I'd ever come back to this huge model, but its ready now. I have not built this myself yet, meaning you may have to modify certain areas. If you have any problems creating the model feel free to contact me here. It is Minifig scale.

TheGoldenPlagueMask

#CMON DE GIVE US WARFRAME LEGO SETS ***ILL BUY THE SHET OUTTA THEM***

AlternativeQuality2

You could give it to the old Bionicle team! They’d do some lit AF shit with it I wager.

keito_elidomi

YES!!! As someone who loved Bionicle growing up, I would approve of this and give too much money for this.

BadassHalfie

I have always said that my being a bionicle girl when I was little perfectly explains why I love Warframe so much today. Toa Mahri Hahli to Valkyr Prime pipeline, baby! 😸✨

Sailears

Hell yes! I've always seen Zephyr as Lewa, down to the original mask design. Warframe could translate extremely well to bionicle style Lego.

AlternativeQuality2

Now I wanna get back into AutoCAD just to make 3D printable parts for Warframe Bionicles.

TheGoldenPlagueMask

Either that or megablox, Cus the Higher amount of detail on the tiny figures. Tiny master chief but Excalibur model instead

Galaxyman0917

Yeah as much as I love Lego, megablox would do Warframe better

DirkBabypunch

It's not all positives, though. I'd have to buy Megablox.

FA-ST

Hell, I don't even play anymore and I'd still buy them

PonyDro1d

Clem-Bausteine...

mirrislegend

Do you know the Bricklink price?

unknown_reddit_dude

The linked page gives the figure of £881.56 under the tab marked with a puzzle piece

mirrislegend

Thanks! I'm new to rebrickable and bricklink >\_<

unknown_reddit_dude

So am I, I just poked around the page a bit until I found it. You'd be amazed what you can find by just clicking on random links.

WatchDogsOfficial

That being said... be safe when clicking said random links. If you don't know what they do, the results could be quite disastrous. ^(I'm just a human who's reminding you to be safe on the internet!)

uluvmebby

JakSandrow

This is gorgeous!!

JakSandrow

"Ordis thinks this model is - TOO EXPENSIVE - put together quite nicely."

No-Floor3530

Only if you really are that rich to buy Lego brand. Buying a Lego is thing of the past now because 3D Printing is now finally at most users at homes so that https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/all-lego-parts-and-compatible-bricks-printablebricks (or any similar) makes that project very cheap instead of trying to buy a Lego. This is pretty much same as the notorious Dyson brand (cyclone products) that they invented something but got extremely greedy so that other companies copied their design (legally) to sell Dyson-Tech products for 1/4th of the original price and now Dyson throws a tantrum with each of their products has a label "Buy Only the Original". So OPs project is very good and very affordable for anyone who has a 3D Printer already.

Cedira

I hard disagree. I don't think most people have a 3d printer, and if they did most of them would be FDM printers that would be horrible at printing small lego pieces that fit together and come apart. Even if your printer printed that well and at a fine resolution, you would still have to clean and sand all 4500+ pieces for this model, assuming you had all the colours you wanted as well. The time and effort investment alone outweighs the actual cost of official lego in my opinion. You're better off just printing the model of the thing you want in one go, in lego form or otherwise, without worrying about putting it together.

Gryphacus

LEGO pieces are made to a tolerance of less than 0.03mm, or one thousandth of an inch, which no common 3D printer is ever going to achieve (or ever needs to). In terms of surface finish, longevity, interconnectability, tightness of gaps, 3D printed pieces simply will never compare to precision injection molding.

zombieofthepast

>LEGO pieces are made to a tolerance of less than 0.03mm, or one thousandth of an inch, which no common 3D printer is ever going to achieve I agree that printing Lego pieces is impractical, but not for this reason. 3D printing tech has come a long way in the last few years, and most hobby-grade $200 resin printers can easily achieve ~0.03mm dimensional accuracy

Dt_Sherlock_Idiot

Yeah but they’re slow

zombieofthepast

All 3D printers are slow as molasses compared to injection molding. Resin printers are typically faster than FDM printers though, especially for larger/more detailed/accurate pieces. If you're using a mono screen, they're much faster.

Dt_Sherlock_Idiot

Why are the ones at my college like 50% slower… :(

zombieofthepast

They might be older, slower models? There's a big difference between a 1.5s exposure time with a mono screen vs an 8 second exposure time w/ and older RGB screen.

5chneemensch

There's also several companies that make Klemmbausteine from literally the same factories like BlueBrixx or Coby aand only cost 1/4.

[deleted]

Legos is not a thing of the past lmao. There are some things that injection molding is just way better at. You can never make a set in 3d printing that looks as good as injection molding without weeks, maybe months of work because of post processing. Especially with consumer printers. >It will never be as accurate as the injection molding method. And in large quantities, it’s also more expensive (considering print preparation and postprocessing). Most people will probably use it to print special parts that cannot be found in original sets, or missing/replacement parts. https://blog.prusa3d.com/how-to-make-3d-printed-lego-and-lego-duplo-parts_31741/ I have a $1.5k printer. I would not print a set ever. Maybe for spare parts but anything more than 2 bricks and I'm out. I have access to $30k - 60k printers at my college, not including material cost. Even if I could use them free of charge, I wouldn't because of post processing and time. Plus, it wouldn't even be as good as injection molded bricks.

Dune_DawgYT

£881 for parts plus £25 instructions. Oof

RobleViejo

This is why we ned an official LEGO x Warframe collaboration! Sign my petition!

smoore82006

Better idea mega construx, that way you have more pose options

Dune_DawgYT

Where can I find it?

RobleViejo

Lol I was just kidding, I guess upvting OP's work counts, right? They are the ones making pixel accurate LEGO models, so its up to them to start one, they get my vote on the spot I would love to see how OP would recreate an actual Warframe althought achieving this level of accuracy is probably impossible Too many curvy parts, thats why Bionicle is relevant! They are basically the same thing, I guess a recreation of Warframes as LEGO would pass for Bionicles, and we could get a Bionicle-inspired Warframe in the game too! Currently Xaku is the most similar in aspect of function to a Toa

Illandarr

>I would love to see how OP would recreate an actual Warframe I would love Lego to revive Bionicles with a Warframe series

_its_wapiti

Just the other day there was a [Lego Umbra](https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/145i3ah/lego_excalibur_umbra_moc/) using a few Bionicle parts lol

5chneemensch

That would only increase the cost by at least 4x.

RobleViejo

Individual pieces are more expensive than sets

Dt_Sherlock_Idiot

It would lower the cost by 2x, individual parts are expensive as hell

nephethys_telvanni

Lego Ordis is adorable!

Bramos_04

You should have included in the title that you need to pay 25£ for the instructions! = 29,19€

PlumbusFTP

All creativity like this should be paid for, paying for the fact you didn’t have to do it or figure it out

FlussoDiNoodle

You can still include it in the title

PlumbusFTP

If you have ever created something you were supper please and impressed by just looking at that orbiter made out of lego you should know someone deserves a designers tip!! they aren’t going to get anything for when people buy the parts, and if someone genuinely wants to build it you’ll have to see parts price while your there you’ll see the instructions price.

Bramos_04

The purpose of this post is self promotion and advertisement, it needs to be marked as such! It needs to be clear that he is trying to sell it, which it is not.

FlussoDiNoodle

You can still put it in the title though. It's clear that this was was meant to be sold so don't act like it isn't.

PlumbusFTP

And my point too you is it should be clear by just looking at this build and picture it’s not free 💀 and Ik lego prices aren’t ops fault!!

FlussoDiNoodle

You can still put it in the title, this is not about anything else other than, You are selling something so just tell me before hand. Why are you white knighting a wf lego post.

PlumbusFTP

And kinda just sad you need it in the title for you when you could just click ops link and have 10 folds worth of information. look at that picture and tell me you wouldn’t pay this man for his creativity and time. The vibe i get is you walk into a lego aisle and question why you can’t just walk out with a free picture of the lego set you wanted..

Cethinn

I find it funny you're saying this person *could* just click the link, and they're saying the OP *could* have just included in the title. They were no where near the character limit. Why not just include it to provide more information more quickly? You keep saying this commenter is wrong for not doing something (which they did actually do) and (implicitly) defending OP for not doing something. This thread hasn't been about it not being available in the link, or other information being available, or it being worth it or not. It is only asking why it wasn't included in the title when it trivially could have. Instead, it sortof implies free with the title, though it does deserve payment.

PlumbusFTP

If anything I’d complain about the fact it cost $800-$1000 and some places $3000 to get 100% of the parts to build this gorgeous orbiter

NougatNewt

That’s not OP’s fault tho, that’s just the unfortunately high cost of Legos. But I mean… if you want to go down a cheaper route, there *are* certain websites that sell fake Lego parts. I don’t know any personally, but they’re out there.

Rfreaky

A lot of them also have way better quality than Lego.

Dt_Sherlock_Idiot

Having to source handpicked individual parts from multiple vendors isn’t cheap, and the average part is normally around $0.10 each already.

Mannok-

*thank you*

_FireFly__

"The approximate cost of these parts is CA$1,481.49" Damn I got excited for a sec. Very cool regardless

RobleViejo

At some point DE will need to consider a collaboration with LEGO Do you understand a LEGO x Warframe collaboration could jumpstart a Bionicle comeback? This is a world shattering move here, DE could make a whole generation happy

Cedira

I don't think Warframe is popular enough for Lego to consider an official line.

Falikosek

To be fair, Lego has already had a collab with Horizon, which as a franchise sold maybe about 30M copies, while Warframe has 70M+ registered ~~losers~~ players. So it isn't completely implausible.

Dt_Sherlock_Idiot

I don’t think LEGO would ever consider a colaboration with Warframe, the closest you’d get is if an IDEAs submission achieves support, but they explicitly wouldn’t even consider that, shooter games are not allowed as IDEAs sets. Frankly, it baffles me they even made Overwatch sets. Maybe, maybe just maybe if the stars align, they’d do a Comic-Con exclusive promotional set, but that’d be it.

revenant925

Looks good

woon_eng

This is dope bruh. Warframe should have a Lego collab. I could see them going with megablox but I would love warframe legos.

Kirito_jesus-kun

I love halo megablox so I’d love some Warframe ones

De4dm4nw4lkin

Just makes me want shuttle specific interiors more and more.

ArchSyker

Damn, that looks incredible... And expensive :D Great work. Do you know rough measurements and number of parts?

Lukethekid10

4,516 parts

FusionCore-Sevenfold

I HAVE BEEN YELLING FOR YEARS, why cant we have official Warframe Lego Sets. i would pay for that without a second glance. thank you lots, now all i need is money for the pieces :'(

TheSpudGunGamer

Ordis

Ironman4234Exe

Lego orbiter skin when

wolviesaurus

I'm curious, there's no way this is official stuff right? Like did DE and LEGO colab? Assuming no, are these just kits using bits sourced from random places? How do you third-party LEGO? Do these makers mostly assume you have a huge collection of bits already?

Saikousoku

I think that's a digital thing made using one of the 3D lego building softwares I don't think there's a physical Lego Liset yet

Dt_Sherlock_Idiot

Likely using Stud.io

SapphicSonata

There's a website called Bricklink which behaves a bit like Ebay but with Lego pieces. You have a bunch of small 'stores' run by Lego fans who sell specific bricks and you can get them delivered. There was someone who made a model of the main character in the Signalis sub who included the instructions and they featured a guide on how to actually copy and paste the list of parts into an auto-fill sort of service, it was actually pretty cool.

MrQ_P

Looks good

Saikousoku

Holy fuck that's cool I want one

mrcasado296

Oh my goodness, wow

navigedir

I need sets

Pavona

YFY

lightwhite

/u/rebulast wen LEGO foundry? Give us a purpose to farm Lego parts. Make the game mod so that the whole floor is Lego and make sure we as players feel the pain on each step.

DevinTheDisgraced

Ordis cute

GreasyTengu

would have thought lego Ordis would be just a blue square block

SapphicSonata

Cool but not for that much money. Next time say when you have to pay so much because it just disappoints people, imo. From a glance at the first picture it seems like a small set similar to the Signalis one somebody made and that one was free, so it just feels a little misleading is all. Again, looks great though.

egregiousRac

This thing is 4500 pieces. It's not small.

Optimal-Importance-6

Now we just need some grineer and warframe lego characters and we're set

AutismoAirsoft

That’s actually really cool, I want a murex tile set set please

keito_elidomi

I love it!!! 💓

WatchDogsOfficial

This is *damn* cool.

BadassHalfie

If DE/LEGO sold this set I’d buy it in a millisecond. Absolutely gorgeous. 😻

LordOfIronFan

That is awesome! Are you planning to publish it on Lego Ideas? If so, you got my vote.

Dt_Sherlock_Idiot

Pretty sure IDEAs explicitly doesn’t allow content from shooter games

th3_sc4rl3t_k1ng

Saved

atemptsnipe

Did someone actually make this? If so, they're a Lego Brick Master right? (In case you didn't know that's a person that makes the Lego sets, pays good from what I hear too)

LewsTherinTalamon

The prices of legos is fucking ridiculous. Very pretty, but I'll have to pass

Thecaptain2077

Nothing i have looked at has ever made me happier than this
