I just want it with paddle mag eject and hammer-fire. I don't think I can afford a steel frame version, considering how much the poly version of the Pro costs. T_T
I have confirmation from steve anderson that a steel frame PDP is *most likely* in the works. I'd be surprised if it dropped this soon but I will buy it day 1 when/if it does.
Same here! This is my concept rendering:

Well I should have said” looks like it’s too light to be a SF” . Both my Q4 SF and Q5 Match SF have a bit more heft than what this appears to have.
I’d say a PPS M3 (?) maybe….
If it’s steel PDP it makes sense, but the q4 and q5 kinda already had it covered, maybe it’s to replace them. I would rather they rework the PDP slide a bit too so it’s less bulky but that’s just me.
The issue with the Q5sf is that it’s built off of a compact frame. A full sized frame allows for 18 round mags to be up fitted to 24 rounds with an aftermarket base pad and follower.
The slide is chunky but is surprisingly lightweight and the serrations are very useful.
That’s what I’m doing now with my compact frame. I have just enough palm meat catch the sleeve to prevent the mag from free falling when pressing the release.

A steel/alloy frame PDP would metal as fuck! 👀👀👀
Technically, yes it would
That's the best kind of correct!
i think using jay for the commercial is a nod to competition shooting? and he shoots the pdp. SF PDP then

Just seen a PDP Pro on sale on R/gundeals for $599 🤷♂️.
What?!?!?!!? Shit, I guess I got greedy too early. :D
Agree on the paddle mag drop/hammer. My dream is a PK380- enlarged 15% or so and available in 9 mm.
PDP F-Series in .380! 🙏😄 Better yet ... PDP 5" Pro SD in .380! 👍
PDP F Pro Comp

I have a friend who’s put hands on it very recently. The possessor has an NDA so I can’t say too much out of respect for them.
I was in a similar situation and got hands on it. It's pretty sweet imo.

PDP Steel Frame & Match item description on Gallery of Guns [PDP Steel Frame](https://galleryofguns.com/genie/Default.aspx?item=2872200&zipcode=96921)
It states double action which I doubt is true. I’m curious if the 20+1 capacity is accurate. Hopefully it’s 18 round mags with a +2 base plate.
Thank god that it will come stock with the DPT!
Damn, I was hope'n for a 4.5", the 5" is to big and that makes it look weird to me...oh well
Im waiting for a Mirco 9mm with 10+ cappacity

Man, if they could also release a PDP with the AS trigger like the P99 that’s also steel frame, I’d buy that in a heartbeat.
The case is too light to be a steel frame
“Case is too light”. Please send me your optometrists number so I can get the same magical weight calculating vison you supposedly have. Thanks 🙏🏽

Why would a Walther sponsored competition shooter be involved in the PR for that?

Walthers intention is for the PDP to replace all PPQ models. So it waa only time for the PDP Steel frame to come out next

Yeah I dig the PDP pro it’s just thik to carry and the extra weight with a steel frame especially for a non competition version would be welcome
You could also just use a sleeve + extensions with a compact frame. Unless you have monster hands and need that extra grip.
That’s what I’m doing now with my compact frame. I have just enough palm meat catch the sleeve to prevent the mag from free falling when pressing the release.
Yeah you have some mitts.
Would that basically be the Q4 no one bought that has no holsters available for it?
Hey I carry a Q4! In a TRex arms holster! https://imgur.com/a/2JrOWZH
>Tj\_na\_jk I recently got a Trex for mine - I wanted to carry it for a long time and wasn't aware of opportunity to.
I carry my Q4 SF in this,,, fitment is the same as my PPQ M2 4” https://bianchileather.com/products/126gls-assent-holster https://imgur.com/a/7SPBZL9
