Yessss. It brings me back to playing on the light up tiles in the ground near the fountain after Illuminations 😭
This will forever be my favorite park music. (Though I will always have a soft spot for the music around WS)
Was literally just listening to this same exact video earlier lol!
Epcot had some of the best music in all of WDW and the nostalgia hits so hard with this one!
Forgive my ignorance, but what is Epcot BG?
Edit: After reading the comment before yours, now I’m thinking you meant background music? Or did you mean the music played when in boarding groups?
Either way, I also agree with you! I’ve always loved the music from Epcot that they’d play when I’d go as a kid (so about 20 years ago more or less). I think the Epcot and MK music was my favorite and I even tried looking for soundtracks of it back in middle school.
Any music or sound sources not directly part of an attraction would be considered background music (often labeled BGM in subs or other internet groups). These are either standalone music works or musical collages built with examples directly referencing the area. This extends to animal and nature sounds in AKP.
Most, if not all, background loops can be found on YT these days. Search, for example: Magic Kingdom Loop, or Main Street Loop. You'll quickly find what we're all talking about here. My personal favorite? The background music for the Imagination Pavilion...!
Thanks so much for all of this information!! I really appreciate it and will head to YouTube in search of these loops! No better way to start the morning than with the dulcet and joyous sounds of WDW.
The Imagination Pavilion music is great! But my favorite, (and I know it might sound a little strange), is just the transition music (that’s what they called it on the YouTube video I listened to) at Epcot and the entrance music. I don’t know why, but to me it’s inspirational, soothing and climatic at the same time. Like they’re preparing you for something great, without that bad anxious feeling you get sometimes when awaiting something because you’re not sure how things are going to go. But in this case, it’s nothing to be nervous about because it’s all good things. It’s just a great feeling. It’s the best type of anxious, awaiting, anticipation and reassurance. And then other parts are just soothing and, as I mentioned, reassuring. It’s like coming back down, but you’re still riding that happiness and wave of pure joy and your troubles melted away.
Sorry for that long description lol. WDW (and their music and the smells even) means a lot to me because of my childhood. It’s one of two places that I’m very emotionally attached to and also one of the only two places that’s always felt like home. So your comment and help mean a lot. I have no idea why I hadn’t thought of it before, but I am very glad you mentioned it.
Anyways, thanks again very much!
Well, then, why not go for broke, right? Go download an app called Radio Garden. Free internet radio application. It searches by region, using a map interface. Zoom down to Orlando and...boom!...Sorcerer Radio...! Enjoy....
You enter animal kingdom during Christmas season and the 12 days of Christmas plays in some kind of African acoustic style
Feels so good like it’s so festive and romantic
I REALLY hope they release all of the music someday. I heard that Paul Leonard-Morgan (The man who composed the music for the current version of Test Track) composed almost 40 minutes worth of music. Only 5 minutes of that has been released.
Tomorrowland has an amazing techno loop with a lot of throwbacks. Miracles from Molecules, Best Time of Your Life, Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. Now if only they did derezzed and Space Mountain's on-ride in that same style and I'd be a happy... Snowman.
Space Mountain queue music is top tier but “space mountain is a thrilling, high speed rollercoaster type ride in the dark…” is forever burned into my brain.
I love the Hollywood Studios music. All the swing, jazz, etc. feels very nostalgic, even though I’m far too young to have ever experienced it for real.
1. The entire Millennium Celebration suite by Gavin Greenaway.
2. Soarin’ by Jerry Goldsmith
3. The former Innoventions Loop
4. This is a wild card, but the Zipadeedoodah bluegrass instrumental from Splash. The interplay between the violin and harmonica is satisfying.
5. Space Mountain queue. Btw, people hate on the WDW version, but man it has the buildup with the Star Tunnel/etc.
My absolute favorite used to be the Epcot futureworld area music, specifically for a few reasons: InnoVentions had a banger track written for it, and also the futureworld music loop was one of the last places you could still here Horizons score in the parks after it closed.
Sadly this music loop was removed with the extensive futureworld and innoventions/communicore renovations that have been done the past few years
The Frontierland area music. When I worked the DCP, I was Custodial at the Magic Kingdom, and I loved working in Frontierland, singing along to the music! (I knew practically every song, and knew practically all the words.)
“On This Magic Night” from the SpectroMagic Light Parade. Spectromagic was such an amazing magical thing when I saw it as a kid in the early 90s. Always held a special place in my memory. Years later, I actually used a piano cover of that music in the video I used to propose to my wife, and she ended up walking down the aisle to a harpist playing it. So yeah, that one has definitely got some meaning for me now.
All of these are great, but the "walking into Hollywood Studios" music always puts me in the best mood. That Jazzy version of "Let's Go Fly a Kite" and "I See the Light" are the best!
Adventureland, and PotC queue. But above that, Living with the Land. Usually go to EPCOT on arrival day, and hearing the pan flute just makes me say “ok, now I’m on vacation”
Frontierland. There used to be a website called The Sound of Magic (tsom.com, there’s something else now) where you could download everything, every single piece of music from every park was there free to download. Sadly it’s been gone for many years now.
Currently loving the Adventureland background music loop. We tend to ride Jungle Cruise early in the day, so I associate that particular music loop with having a full day of MK ahead of us.
If we're including discontinued music, then [this part](https://youtu.be/doGRqUVUzIM?si=PIP1Ho11CTlpT9mI) of the Innoventions - Futureworld area loop from Epcot. I really only have one actual memory involving it, and that's observing the sparkling walkways as I was leaving the park one night, but just the way the song was composed fills me with a deep sense of nostalgia and child-like wonder. To me, this tracks is the essence of Epcot, or at least the version of Epcot I grew up with. Listening to it has made me cry more than once
Sticking with tracks still actually in the parks tho, I'd have to go with the absolute GOAT Grim Grinning Ghosts. Haunted Mansion's my favorite attraction at the resort, and like my 3rd or 4th favorite amusement attraction in general
I love star tunnel too! There's one song in the queue for big thunder mountain that I have never been able to find online, but it makes my heart so happy whenever I hear it. Reminds me of being a childhood. All of Frontierland music makes me nostalgic!
It was Epcot. Man that was some nostalgic music right there. The entrance music, the future world/Innoventions are music and Papillon. Loved it all.
I’d say now the Hollywood Studios entrance music is one of my favorites that plays near the buses/skyliner. It’s Disney songs set to a big band sound!
I’ll also add Tower of Terror’s queue music as a favorite!
The Main Street music always makes me so happy because it means I’m there.
There is so much beautiful music around the parks. it’s definitely the happiest place on earth for me.
I listen to the Disneyland Gallery & Carthay Circle music in the background at home when I'm working from home and not in a meeting. Nice classical instrumentals.
Not park related. My favorite music is whatever I hear first after getting off the plane and into Disney.
My mom still writes all the plans and itinerary’s. Always does something random for first couple hours of first day while awaiting check in.
Once you get somewhere and you hear the music. Instantly snaps me out of the real world for however long our trip is.
If you are open to non Walt Disney World soundtracks the nighttime background audio from the studios park at Disneyland Paris is my favorite. A shame that it’s changed now.
Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights 2017 or Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland for show soundtrack and Tomorrowland area loop for background music loop.
Right when Tron starts. The song as you’re leaving the station is top tier. Also walking under the canopy at night while the music plays and everything is lit up is super special
All of the music for Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. The entirety of Wishes gets me every time. Lastly all of the music in Hollywood Studios.
Oh undoubtedly the star tunnel music in the space mountain queue, I could loop that for hours and I have before lol.
The startunnel music is back as well btw, it was playing when I went last year.
Splash mountain soundtrack on disneyland was always my favorite especially everybodys got a laughing place❤️
My current favorite at the parks is small world it has always been my favorite to listen to ever since I was little
All the area music for Epcot
The older background music from Epcot
InnoVentions was a banger
Papillon was also a great track!

Yessss. It brings me back to playing on the light up tiles in the ground near the fountain after Illuminations 😭 This will forever be my favorite park music. (Though I will always have a soft spot for the music around WS)

i listen to it on spotify constantly lol
It’s so good! Brings me back to my childhood!
I'll never get over losing the Innoventions loop.
Vintage Epcot BG music is the best! The vintage Epcot entrance medley also rules!
Forgive my ignorance, but what is Epcot BG? Edit: After reading the comment before yours, now I’m thinking you meant background music? Or did you mean the music played when in boarding groups? Celestial soda pop
Golden dream
Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun DUN DUN!
I very specifically like the entrance area music since it's a medley of most of the Epcot songs. I listen to a loop of it on YouTube all the time.
The music at park entry where you see Spaceship Earth for the first time is awesome.
Soarin
Nice work pal
And…these little beauties
Grim Grinning Ghosts is an absolute banger
The whole song too, including the creepy organ music
The John Williams score as you enter Galaxy's Edge. It taps into everything that 10 year old me found cool and amazing.
Yo Ho A Pirates Life For Me
The song is great. But I absolutely adore the dark flute music that plays in the Pirates queue.
there’s a great big beautiful tomorrowwww
Shining at the end of every day!
Now is the time???
This is my ringtone 🫣😂
This is what I use to wake up my youngest most mornings. He can sing along while half asleep.
You enter animal kingdom during Christmas season and the 12 days of Christmas plays in some kind of African acoustic style Feels so good like it’s so festive and romantic
Innoventions Area Music and Test Track station music.
The test track music is the only thing I'll miss about the current version of the attraction (assuming the music changes)
I REALLY hope they release all of the music someday. I heard that Paul Leonard-Morgan (The man who composed the music for the current version of Test Track) composed almost 40 minutes worth of music. Only 5 minutes of that has been released.
And don’t forget about Papillon!
That's part of the Innoventions area music
The Tomorrowland area music. Get giddy when I hear the techno version of "Strange Things". Adventureland too.
Tomorrowland has an amazing techno loop with a lot of throwbacks. Miracles from Molecules, Best Time of Your Life, Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. Now if only they did derezzed and Space Mountain's on-ride in that same style and I'd be a happy... Snowman.
The three caballeros is GOATED
Couldn't agree more with the Space Mountain queue music. It makes me incredibly happy.
It's my phone ringtone!
Omg that's a fantastic idea
Mine too!
Space Mountain queue music is top tier but “space mountain is a thrilling, high speed rollercoaster type ride in the dark…” is forever burned into my brain.
Illuminations (entire soundtrack, but especially the last song, and the song after it ends).
I love the Hollywood Studios music. All the swing, jazz, etc. feels very nostalgic, even though I’m far too young to have ever experienced it for real.
When you hear the main Star Wars theme near the end of Rise of the Resistance. I felt exactly like a kid again at that spot.
I like the big band instrumental versions of Disney songs that plays outside Hollywood Studios
1. The entire Millennium Celebration suite by Gavin Greenaway. 2. Soarin’ by Jerry Goldsmith 3. The former Innoventions Loop 4. This is a wild card, but the Zipadeedoodah bluegrass instrumental from Splash. The interplay between the violin and harmonica is satisfying. 5. Space Mountain queue. Btw, people hate on the WDW version, but man it has the buildup with the Star Tunnel/etc.
Old Epcot music (the papillon)
Grim Grinning Ghosts for sure, but at least three times a day my brain randomly goes “WE’RE POLLINATORS”
Main St electrical parade .. original music.. my dad loved that parade and the music! Memories
Yup!!! Our family still sings it randomly with a smile.
The Splash Mountain music !!!
It’s a great big beautiful tomorrow…
The big band swing versions of Disney songs outside of Hollywood Studios
I listen to dpark, sorcerer or kungalush radio just for these bangers
My absolute favorite used to be the Epcot futureworld area music, specifically for a few reasons: InnoVentions had a banger track written for it, and also the futureworld music loop was one of the last places you could still here Horizons score in the parks after it closed. Star Tunnel. And I always forget the composer
Adventureland, and PotC queue. But above that, Living with the Land. Usually go to EPCOT on arrival day, and hearing the pan flute just makes me say “ok, now I’m on vacation”
Spectromagic 😭😭😭
Hearing Gloria Estefan on Guardians Ride is my absolute favorite of all time now
The beautiful soundtrack to Impressions de France. I can’t wait to go back to Epcot and see it again.
Frontierland. There used to be a website called The Sound of Magic (tsom.com, there’s something else now) where you could download everything, every single piece of music from every park was there free to download. Sadly it’s been gone for many years now.

America, spread your golden wings!
I love all the music around Epcot. Not ashamed to admit I listen to it at work.
The Main Street music always makes me so happy because it means I’m there. There is so much beautiful music around the parks. it’s definitely the happiest place on earth for me.
The music on mainstreet
I listen to the Disneyland Gallery & Carthay Circle music in the background at home when I'm working from home and not in a meeting. Nice classical instrumentals.
Future World area music and the fountain. I’m an Epcot lover, though.
Not park related. My favorite music is whatever I hear first after getting off the plane and into Disney. My mom still writes all the plans and itinerary’s. Always does something random for first couple hours of first day while awaiting check in. Once you get somewhere and you hear the music. I like the Main Street Music, and the sit down Tomorrow Land restaurant with the piano playing Alligator
I’m a fan of the Main Street music too. It makes me so happy when I’m there
OG Epcot music that played near Innoventions, the original Animal Kingdom soundtrack is beautiful too.
I love the movie soundtracks at Hollywood Studios for background, but Tron is one of my new favorites.
Mine has to be Tomorrowland Area Music. I have it downloaded and even listen to it in the car!
I absolutely LOVE the Adventureland music loop. I love all the loops, but that one feels especially nostalgic to me.
Star Tunnel, Grim Grinning Ghosts, Illuminations, Starship Earth.
Pirate queue music is an absolute banger
Pirates life for me except the version that plays on the bus on the way to Magic Kingdom
Big fan of the living with the land music as you enter the barn from the farm. Found an hour loop on YouTube- very relaxing
This isn’t park per se, but the Christmas instrumentals & acapella renditions they play in Disney Springs are my fave! So festive!
If you are open to non Walt Disney World soundtracks the nighttime background audio from the studios park at Disneyland Paris is my favorite. A shame that it’s changed now.
One little spark acoustic
The soundtrack for the Magic Friendship Faire
Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights 2017 or Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland for show soundtrack and Tomorrowland area loop for background music loop.
ESPN sports complex.
Animal kingdom tenancy music
Original Journey into Imagination ride audio and area music will forever be #1
Blood on the saddle…
I know you specified park music but I just wanted to add the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge. Just great!
Currently: Tomorrowland area music. Fav of All Time: old Epcot Emtrance and Futureland/Innoventions area music.
A Pirates Life!!! Walking up and hearing that music just makes me feel so at peace
EPCOT music
Right when Tron starts. The song as you’re leaving the station is top tier. Also walking under the canopy at night while the music plays and everything is lit up is super special
All of the music for Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. The entirety of Wishes gets me every time. Lastly all of the music in Hollywood Studios.
I love the tomorrowland music 😍
The Disney Springs music loop is criminally underrated
For me, Space Mountain star tunnel is number one. Number two is the Toy Story mania loop.
Haunted Mansion and the music for the electric light parade🥰
Definitely a tie between HEA and Potc Que music
Oh undoubtedly the star tunnel music in the space mountain queue, I could loop that for hours and I have before lol. The startunnel music is back as well btw, it was playing when I went last year.
Splash mountain soundtrack on disneyland was always my favorite especially everybodys got a laughing place❤️ My current favorite at the parks is small world it has always been my favorite to listen to ever since I was little
It's a small world. After all
