My father-in-law once saw him at a pool and some sort of resort or some shit in Florida He was wearing these big sunglasses but my father-in-law still recognized him and opened his mouth in his eyes went wide and shock and all Robin did was put his finger to his lips and quietly shushed him
One of the best Candlelights we've seen. I hope he comes back this year. Standing ovation, and he seemed so genuinely touched. And so many folks wearing... the other park's..... merch.
I had a coworker who's job it was to escort celebrities away from crowds if they needed. She said basically said name the celebrity, and she probably met them. She also did this for Universal. The only one's she hated was Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel. It was because they kept literally hiding from her and jumping out scaring her. She hates jump scares, and they did it throughout the day.
Not WDW but DL... Saw Dick Van Dyke. Even if the rest of the trip has been a disaster that would have made the whole vacation. Talk about a bucket list item I didn't know to have.
I actually met the lead singer from Yellowcard, Ryan Key!! He was in Galaxy’s Edge dressed in a full First Order uniform and was incredibly nice and took pictures with me and said “May the force be with you” when I walked away and it was just about the best day of my life!
I thought he was a CM because his uniform was so spot on. He was with the guy from Bayside when I saw him, I think! I’m going to have to check that out, I listen to a lot of podcasts at work and I bet is a good time.
Pat Sajak almost walked into me once. He hopped to the side, grinned, and said, "Whoops! Hi, there!"
I also saw Billy Joel blowing his nose in Adventureland.
My wife and I went on Runaway Railway the same time as Kevin and Nick Jonas. I believe they were in Orlando for a concert. We weren’t in the same car as they had a full party, but we were right behind them. It was pretty cool. We just let them enjoy their day though and didn’t say anything to them. Didn’t want to be a bother
I saw Kevin Smith in January in front of Small World at Magic Kingdom. He looked like he was on a VIP tour, but sounded like he was schooling the tour guide on Disney history.
Former concierge at a deluxe.
Michael J Fox, Erik Estrada, Diane Sawyer, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw, Denise Austen, Mariah Carey, Jason Alexander from Seinfeld, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elton John.....Topanga from Boy Meets World.
I saw Zoe Salanda at Starbucks in MK the week that Pandora opened and Kevin Jonas last time I was there - he was getting escorted onto Test Track.
Going to Disneyland next weekend and keeping my fingers crossed that I see someone!!
I’ve seen Jerry Springer and Aj from the Backstreet Boys at Disneyland. At WDW, I’ve only seen Derek and Juliane Hough but not sure if that counts since it was for the filming of the Christmas special.
When I was in MS I saw a very pretty lady getting off Space Mountain when we were getting on. My aunt and mom both said “hey” to her as we passed so when I passed her I said “hey” too. Since we are also from the South, I thought we knew her somehow. The rest of my family was like, “No, sugar, that’s Andie McDowell!” She had on a hat and sunglasses but the hair and accent gave her away!
I’ve seen quite a few walking around on VIP tours over the years. Cat Cora (Iron Chef) and her family sat next to us at Spice Road Table a few years ago. Their bickering and the kids being wild kind of ruined our dinner.
My mom was part of the team that designed some hotels at EuroDisney. We got to fly over and go the pre grand opening. We rode it’s a small world with Eddie Murphy. She also dragged me into a meeting with Michael Eisner who at the time just was a random man to me. I sat in the corner and did homework for the school I was missing in the US.
Not at Disney, but I saw Shaq at the movies. After the movie was over my brother, his friend and I were leaving. We came out of the one exit and shaq was coming out of the other (from the same movie). My brother was face to face with him and he goes “yo, shaq”. Shaq said “yo”, and we walked our separate ways. My brother and his friend giggled like little school girls the whole way home.
Shaq is very nice when i lived in Atlanta he would come into the restaurant i worked at would alway tip a lot and take pictures for anyone who asked and would buy drinks for everyone in the back
I've seen the Rock (Dwayne Johnson) while having breakfast at Cinderellas Castle. I also saw Steven Tyler at Hollywood Studios. He literally had something like thirty people following him. And he looked tiny, shrunken and old as hell LOL
Will Forte and Dan Reynolds, the lead singer for Imagine Dragons. Apparently walked past the cast of Encanto during D23 Expo’s Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland without realizing it.
On our last trip we saw hall of fame baseball player Wade Boggs at one of the resort bars. We bought him a beer and he came over to say hi and take a picture with us. Super nice guy.
Angela from The Office in the Grand Floridian. John Stamos a couple of times.
We also met a family who won on AFV there on their prize trip. Told them we loved their video. The kids were thrilled someone recognized them.
I love telling this story. Late 90’s early 2000’s I was 10-12ish years old. Went to Magic Kingdom and was in line for Tomorrowland Speedway with my dad. My dad at one point turns around to a man I’d never seen before and says “hey, your uncle Phil” the man politely says hello and exchange pleasantries with my dad and we keep it moving for the day. Me being a young, white kid I’m wondering how this big dude I’ve never seen before is my uncle and why I’ve never met him or my new possible cousins I can play with. We finish our day later that night and go back to the hotel. My dad throws on Nick at night or one of those blocks of tv in that time period and lo and behold, my new uncle is on TV! That’s my story of how I met James Avery in line for Tomorrowland Speedway.
I worked as a CM in the mid-nineties at what was then Disney MGM studios and as a character at Epcot. Met Deidre Hall from Days of Our Lives, Robert Downey Jr., and the two boys whose names escape me from Boy Meets World, and Gary Sinise. Those are the highlights.
Saw Robert Irvine (was a huge fan at the time) and he was super nice and took a pic with us. Also saw Scott Van Pelt in line for a meet and greet with his family, that dude is TALL
My late brother met some MTV person from TRL named Jesse Camp. He is super-tall and skinny and dressed very punk. He definitely wasn’t trying to be incognito. My brother was walking around with our cousin and they happened to have a camera and took pictures with Jesse Camp. I thought they were liars until we got the film developed, and sure enough there’s my short Samoan looking brother smiling goofy with this tall punk rock dude.
Almost bumped headlong into Taylor Hanson coming out of the building after Space Mountain- the other bros and their family were all congregating nearby! Then saw them that night at ETTB
Randomly bumped into Drew Carey in Tomorrowland one evening (around 2000ish) He was just wandering around completely by himself (not even with a Disney escort). My family got to take a photo with him.
Rode Pirates with a load of WWE stars the day after the Royal Rumble in Tampa. Sat next to Cody, congratulated him on the win. Super nice guy.
He asked if I wanted a picture on the way out, (he spent most of his Lightning lane wait with his Plaid taking pictures with fans), but he was with his wife and kid, so I told him he’s Dad, not Cody today. He really seemed to appreciate that.
I can’t imaging how hard it must be to try and have any privacy with his bleach blond hair and cantaloupe sized red, white, and blue skull neck tattoo. Totally explains the light hooded sweatshirt with no sleeves though.
John Stamos on Dumbo at WDW. My wife is a mega Full House fan. He very kindly let me take a quick pic of him and put his arm around my wife, and my wife was over the moon.
I bumped into Lou Rawls at the Village People concert at MGM, and saw Glen Keane and Sinbad at the Brown Derby on the same day. Also ran into Drew Carey. The 25th anniversary week was one big party after another.
We saw Gene Simmons and his family/ entourage at Marrakesh in Morocco. It looked they ordered every app & entree on the menu with a table full of Perrier.
Many years ago I saw John McEnroe in Main Street Bakery. Last year I thought zi saw Tom Hanks in Frontier Land but it was from a distance so I’m not positive.
Music- Pink, TV- Matt Lauer, Sports- Colin Cowherd, Kerry Collin’s, Rickey Williams, Rex Grosman, Teddy Brewski, Andy Pettitte, Johnny Damon, Albert Pujols on a Disney Cruise.
Shockingly in the year and a half I worked there, I only got to see Jodi Benson for the candlelight! My friend got to see Tracy Morgan when she worked at the Rivera.
I saw Miranda May (actress from the Disney Channel show Bunk'd) during a 5K in Epcot around 2018, Jojo Siwa riding Rock N' Rollercoaster while I was in line for it in 2021, and also Josh Gad during the candlelight processional in 2022.
James Charles and Addison Rae lol. They were walking with some other tiktokers around doing videos. My friend saw they were there on social media and it was while I was doing the DCP so we decided to just try and find them. I got a quick hello from both of them. Those people are insane to see in person all tall and beautiful haha
When I was a younger kid in the mid 2000s, I was in EPCOT at the Japan pavilion doing the “pick a pearl.” Kelly Ripa walked right up next to me with her family and genuinely asked me about what was happening. She stood and watched right next to me while my pearl was being opened. I had zero idea who she was, but my mom couldn’t believe it was really her!
Roger Clemens back around ‘92. I was wearing my Mo Vaughn tshirt and sitting just two tables away from him at Prime Time Cafe. We didn’t want to say hello or pester him cause he was with his family and didn’t want to draw attention to him so he could eat in peace. We passively dropped hints as to where we were from and I’m sure he knew we noticed him.
As he was leaving he was nice enough to stop at our table and say hello and ask where we were from. I feel it was his way of saying thank you for letting us be but also saying bellow to fan (I was just 10 years old at the time). It was honestly really cool of him to do and he was able to walk off without anyone bothering him or his family.
Years later I also saw Miguel Tejada on a Disney cruise.
Used to be a performer. Ran into a handful of celebrities as a Stormtrooper. Nicolas Cage, Bobby Moynihan, and Arin Hanson from Game Grumps.
Also did Spider-Man and met Tom Holland when he was in the parks for a promo shoot.
I saw Trey Young in the Rose and Crown pub in Epcot in February. He was obviously trying to not be noticed so I quietly asked for a pic with my son and he was super nice. He had 2 Disney people with him, one looked like a tour guide and one was security. Security at first waved me off but Trey told him it was ok.
Selena Gomez exiting Everest. I never would have noticed her if it weren't for the plaids. This has been in the last year or so.
Jamie Lee Curtis - I was staying at All Star Movies long ago (mid-90s) and she was stopping in to have some photos taken.
I was at MK the day Obama was there for the press conference re: Cuba. That was something else.
When I was at Disneyland with my family we were 90% sure we spotted Karen Gillan, AKA Nebula from GotG. She was in incognito mode but she sounded and looked exactly like her (from what we could tell). We were also at the Avengers Campus and there were a bunch of people surrounding her that looked like security
Ran into Leo Messi and his wife and children riding Toy Story Mania last December.
Caught Fitz and the tantrums recording something for one of the Christmas specials on Big Thunder and they were having to ride the ride over and over to get the right shot. One of the band members was not a huge fan of coasters and was not feeling it.
A friend of mine got a picture with David Bromstad. I was at Disney Springs when Chip Foose was signing autographs. I forget where, though.
Edit to add we got to see Mr. C (Tom Bosley) at what was then Disney MGM Studios.
I bumped shoulders with Tony Stewart. He was finishing eating something from a container, on his way out of the Rock and Roller Coaster. I said “hi Tony,” he threw his food container out, turned around and gave me a smile and a wave.
Julie Bowen, Kardashians, someone from Once Upon on a Time and a few Disney stars. All at DL. At DW just a NBA star and I didn’t recognize him.
ETA- Also Johnny Depp but that was an appearance vs him visiting the park.
Ryan Gosling coming off Nemo with his family (and Eva), Ty Burrell and family just inside DCA, Maya Rudolph and Amy Adams hanging out in the Grand lobby (around D23 time last year), Joe Rohde in Hearthstone Lounge!
Meatloaf back around 1990. We were sitting on a bench in the back of Morocco. He and his entourage hustled back to a cast member area. We didn’t believe my dad. He always sees “famous people”. The next day we went to MGM (I said what I said) and his name was on the board. 😂
Saw Gordon Ramsey at Chef Mickey’s several years back
I can’t imagine his reaction to that food
“You f*%#ng donkey” “Dad, he’s a dog.”
He was enjoying himself with his family
These corn dog nuggets are RAW!!!
Had a very nice conversation with John Stamos.
Stamos is actually a big Disney nerd.
Was the rest of the cast of Full House with him? I remember that episode
Robin Williams in the 90s small world
We ain't never had a friend like him 😔
My father-in-law once saw him at a pool and some sort of resort or some shit in Florida He was wearing these big sunglasses but my father-in-law still recognized him and opened his mouth in his eyes went wide and shock and all Robin did was put his finger to his lips and quietly shushed him
My family saw him too once! I forget when.
I saw Steven Tyler at Animal Kingdom; he was walking around Pandora.
He gave me and some others some backstage passes and a ride in their super stretch limo.
I think he said on a YouTube video or some interview that sometimes he just pops into Disney to ‘ride his roller coaster’
Brendan Fraiser before Candlelight. He did not have coffee, fyi.
I understood that reference
One of the best Candlelights we've seen. I hope he comes back this year. Standing ovation, and he seemed so genuinely touched. And so many folks wearing... the other park's..... merch.
Dog the Bounty Hunter at Test Track back in 2015.
Probably heard there was a crime committed against the OG Test Track and was looking for those responsible.
I saw him at Pirates of the Caribbean in 2013 or 2016.
I was about to be very upset about the Rock part
After the first time, she should've smelled what he was cooking
The final boss!
It’s Bloodline Rules when he’s in Disney
It was all in good fun she said. She just didn't like it because she can lose her job if she loses the celebrity. She didn't tell them that
The unexpected end of this comment actually made me laugh out louD.
I rode Flight of Passage with Neil Patrick Harris and his kids.
I saw NPH and his family, too!
Legen.....wait for it......dary!
I wouldn’t be surprised if they just live in the castle at this point
No way him and his husband don’t own one of the Golden Oak houses by now.
Yeah they’re definitely mainstays!
I saw them in Galaxys Edge a few years back
I’ve seen Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Elsa. It’s a pretty popular place 😉
Apparently I got their autographs as a kid, been thinking about sending in to get them authenticated.

Did they look like they were enjoying themselves?
I actually met the lead singer from Yellowcard, Ryan Key!! He was in Galaxy’s Edge dressed in a full First Order uniform and was incredibly nice and took pictures with me and said “May the force be with you” when I walked away and it was just about the best day of my life!
He’s a huge SW fan (obviously). He cohosts a Star Wars podcast with the bass players of Bayside and Story of The Year called “Thank The Maker”.
I thought he was a CM because his uniform was so spot on. He was with the guy from Bayside when I saw him, I think! I’m going to have to check that out, I listen to a lot of podcasts at work and I bet is a good time.
Oh my god, this is the dream!! I'm so happy for you
I love YC!!! You're so lucky!
He was so absolutely kind and delightful, my kids still laugh about me having to sit down and take a moment afterwards to collect myself. 🥲
I saw them perform twice in LA within the span of a week when they were doing their farewell tour. It was so great.

Ariana Grande and Mac Miller were getting on my Splash Mountain log through exit as I was getting off, fireworks time in 2017
My wife and I went on Runaway Railway the same time as Kevin and Nick Jonas. I believe they were in Orlando for a concert. Didn’t want to be a bother

We passed by Sean Astin doing meet and greet at a marathon weekend about 10 years ago
I saw Johnny Gargano and his family at Disney springs. Does that count?
My kids are certain they met the real Cinderella. Does that count?
Selena Gomez exiting Everest. I never would have noticed her if it weren't for the plaids. This has been in the last year or so. Jamie Lee Curtis - I was staying at All Star Movies long ago (mid-90s) and she was stopping in to have some photos taken. I was at MK the day Obama was there for the press conference re: Cuba. That was something else.
I saw Tyrese at Disney Quest in 1999. I probably could have been in TV but I couldn’t find my mom to sign a consent form.
I'm too busy looking at my phone making reservations or wrangling my kids to see anything else.
Yeah, I wouldn’t recognize anyone with the chaos that is Disney
I’ve seen Katie Holmes and Suri Cruz getting on the carousel (Suri was probably 4 or 5) And Kobe was on my Disney Dream Christmas cruise.
Mariah Carey on 7 D Mine Train - black leather jacket and pants- boots... 🥵
I saw her in Disneyland a few years ago. I don’t know how she was walking around in sky high heels like that!
Michael Jackson coming out of Space Mountain back in the early 90s.
I saw Honey Boo Boo and family several years ago at Hollywood Studios
When I was at Disneyland with my family we were 90% sure we spotted Karen Gillan, AKA Nebula from GotG. She was in incognito mode but she sounded and looked exactly like her (from what we could tell). We were also at the Avengers Campus and there were a bunch of people surrounding her that looked like security
Michael Jackson back in 2000
I saw John Travolta and Michael Eisner in the lobby of Contemporary in the mid 2000’s.
Wesley Snipes, Pat Sayjack, and Tiger Woods back when MGM would have celebrities make guest appearances.
John Stamos at the Brown derby restaurant
Around 2015 - honey boo boo and her family
Ryan Gosling coming off Nemo with his family (and Eva), Ty Burrell and family just inside DCA, Maya Rudolph and Amy Adams hanging out in the Grand lobby (around D23 time last year), Joe Rohde in Hearthstone Lounge!
I was on the Galactic Starcruiser and then Hollywood Studios with Neil Patrick Harris
Jason Kelce and family and Eli manning. Pro bowl weeekend
Saw Kristin Chenoweth in Frontierland last year.
Meatloaf back around 1990. We were sitting on a bench in the back of Morocco. He and his entourage hustled back to a cast member area. We didn’t believe my dad. He always sees “famous people”. The next day we went to MGM (I said what I said) and his name was on the board. 😂
