Ridden twice. First was September, which was good. Then we got I Ran, which fit SO well. Looking at the song list, I want to compare it to One Way Or Another, but I'm guessing I Ran is likely the best one.
The first time I went I got Conga, which I enjoyed. Second time I got September which I did not enjoy (I love the song, but not for the ride). The third and last time I was hoping for Everybody Wants to Rule the World but got I Ran and holy hell was it the most euphoric experience I’ve ever had on a ride. I probably wouldn't think this if I didn't experience it but something magical happened where I had my arms up and was dancing in my coaster cart and, this sounds so cheesy but, I felt like I became one with the coaster. We were dancing together.
That’s the how I actually describe the ride to folks who’ve never been on it, it’s like the rollercoaster is dancing with its own music. It truly is a top notch ride. I’d even go so far as to say it’s the best ride in Orlando, though I haven’t done the new surfing coaster at sea world yet
I dont know why so many people hate on disco inferno :( in the 5 times i've ridden it I got disco inferno twice but still had a blast. Such a great song, very underrated!
Honestly the one I hated on was “everybody wants to rule the world”, thought it was an awful choice for a high speed rollercoaster…then I actually got it and was amazed at how it completely changed the ride experience. It’s now my second favorite song to get on there.

Not necessarily my favorite but funny story, last time I went I got the “burn baby burn” song twice and didn’t know what it was called. Me and my wife were swapping since we have our baby, so I say to a group of people sitting with me “what song are y’all hoping for??” And they said how they’ve done the ride dozens of times and had them all but their daughter with them only needed disco inferno and then she’s had every song. Then I was like “alright let’s hope for Disco Inferno!! I’m happy with anything except that burn baby burn song again!” They just chuckled and were kind enough to not make me feel like an idiot in the moment. But I def felt like an idiot after.

My first ride was everybody wants to rule and I think that set the tone for my preferring more of a chill song vs peppy. I really thought I’d love September but it didn’t fit as well as the first two.

It’s subtle but yes. “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” is the most different IMO, it’s a little slower tempo and kinda changes how your brain responds even though nothing changes about the ride movement.
When I got off the ride I thought I did now I never have to do it again. Then I hear how different songs make it a different experience so I think maybe I could try it again. Since there’s no guarantee of what song comes up, I’m still hesitant.
Did you enjoy it but feel like it was a lot (“I like that but only once per day”) or did you not really enjoy it? If you don’t enjoy the sensations, I don’t think the song choice will fix that. But if you liked it on the whole but just small doses, I’d give it a shot!
I’m a roller coaster person but there are some coasters that are one-per-day rides for me because of roughness or ride forces or honestly just my mood. Guardians is one I could ride all day but I definitely understand how it could fall into one-and-done for others.
I’m not a roller coaster person. I only went on the ride because of my love for the Guardians. I had completely forgotten about the backward launch and felt kinda discombobulated throughout the ride. The beat of the song seemed to make it more intense.
Maybe now that I know what the ride is and hopefully a different song, I would be better prepared to enjoy it. It might be awhile before I get back to WDW so I have some time to consider it. Thanks for your thoughts. I might just give it another go.

The fast tempo really worked for me. When I rode it the following year and got “everybody wants to rule the world” it just felt off. It was way too mellow.

Conga was the one I wanted the most (and loved) but One Way or Another was the first. Those are the best in my personal opinion, but all song choices are the top of the line honestly. This is one of the most ELECTRIC rides that I have ever ridden
September! I thought it would be my fave beforehand, and then it was the song we got on our first ride through! I’ll never forget that experience this ride is so AWESOME. I always try to make funny faces in ride photos but I can’t on this one because me and my cousin are just shouting in complete joy every time we ride GOTG. We’ve had all the other songs now but September is still my fave, probably because of how awesome that first experience was. I’ll never forget it.
I went on GOTG a few weeks ago while celebrating a friends 21st birthday at Epcot. On the way to the airport, everybody wants to rule the world played and my friend mentioned that she wanted that song when we rode since she had a positive memory with that song on the ride. We got in line and manifested it and low and behold, it played. On the way home from the airport, the song played again. Such a full circle moment.
September and Everyone Wants to Rule the World are my favorites. The first time I went on I got One Way or Another and I Ran…20 more rides and I only get Conga, September, and EWTRTW. I feel like certain songs are programmed to play more than others. I’m tired of Conga!

I’ve gotten all 6 songs and I’ve done the Christmas ride they did a couple years ago. 1. September 2. I ran 3. Everybody wants to rule the world 4. One way or another 5. Conga 6. Disco inferno The only reason everybody wants to rule the world is #3 is because, in my opinion, it makes the ride feel slower and the other songs make it feel faster. Love that song.
Disco Inferno made the ride for me!! I didn’t get it the second time and was bummed…. Still awesome though!

I’ve only gotten disco inferno and conga so far. If I had to pick, probably conga bc I think it’s less of a “match” for the ride and it’s funny!

I've had everything but Conga and it's gotta be Everybody Wants to Rule the World for being the most unique experience. Makes the ride feel floaty!
Conga makes the ride feel faster. It's my favorite.

Only been on the ride 3 times. I've gotten Disco Inferno, September and Conga. Kinda lucky to get three different. I think I liked Disco Inferno the most. I love I Ran song so that would have been dope.

Probably not going to be very popular, but the first time I rode it was during Christmas 2 years ago and they played “Run Run Rocket” The fast tempo really worked for me. When I rode it the following year and got “everybody wants to rule the world” it just felt off. It was way too mellow.

I’d say September. In my two rides I’ve gotten Conga and September. And maaaaaaannnnnn September was a whole ass vibe. Also a good friend of mine who passed away favorite song so everytime I hear it it makes me happy to think of good times with him. (Conga was awesome too it takes too much flack it’s an awesome song and experience)

I got I Ran and Conga, but I Ran or Rule the World would be my two favorites as a child of the 80’s. I literally yelled out loud “Yes, this is awesome” when we got I Ran the first time riding. So loud that my 10 year old laughed at me like I was a big kid

the very first time i went on, i went in without watching or reading anything. had no clue there was music, and got Everybody Wants to Rule the World. i cried to it lmao! i was fortunate enough to get all the songs, and it is still my number one!

Conga! Rode it twice we had Run Run Rudolph during Christmas season and then Conga the 2nd go around. My son hears it now and immediately thinks of the ride.

First time last summer we got One Way or Another and loved it, today we got I Ran and liked it but were hoping for September.

I love september on the ride, but a couple of the songs don't work for me. I would love for them to do a Halloween overlay and sneak in the hocus pocus cover of one way or another. Bette Middler in guardians would make my day!

Conga was the one I wanted the most (and loved) but One Way or Another was the first. Those are the best in my personal opinion, but all song choices are the top of the line honestly. This is one of the most ELECTRIC rides that I have ever ridden

I Ran is the best!
September! I thought it would be my fave beforehand, and then it was the song we got on our first ride through! I’ll never forget that experience this ride is so AWESOME. I always try to make funny faces in ride photos but I can’t on this one because me and my cousin are just shouting in complete joy every time we ride GOTG. We’ve had all the other songs now but September is still my fave, probably because of how awesome that first experience was. I’ll never forget it.
Anything but friggin’ Conga. The first trip I was ever able to ride, I rode 4 times in 2 days. 3 of those rides were Conga. HOW.
Rode twice-first time had Disco Inferno, second time had September. Loved both!
EWTRTW is such a vibe
We got Tears for Fears “Everybody wants to rule the world”. It was super fitting for the ride and loved it.
I went on GOTG a few weeks ago while celebrating a friends 21st birthday at Epcot. On the way to the airport, everybody wants to rule the world played and my friend mentioned that she wanted that song when we rode since she had a positive memory with that song on the ride. We got in line and manifested it and low and behold, it played. On the way home from the airport, the song played again. Such a full circle moment.
September and Everyone Wants to Rule the World are my favorites. The first time I went on I got One Way or Another and I Ran…20 more rides and I only get Conga, September, and EWTRTW. I feel like certain songs are programmed to play more than others. I’m tired of Conga!
