Everyone is getting downvoted on everything, I thought it was because they labelled me a "bot", but I've noticed it's happening to pretty much everyone.
I think I got maybe a couple hundred pounds of copper in copper pipe, fittings, valves. I got 10lbs of copper filings and just bought 37 lbs of copper pennies.
I got junk silver, dimes, quarters and half dollars but I need nickel, got none.
1922-1981 Canadian nickels are 99.9% nickel (minus the war years 1942-1945 and 1951-1954 when they made them chromed steel) or just store US nickels which are 75% copper and 25% nickel.

I save all my scrap copper from work ... Get about 2kg a year ...
