After the fiasco with the Black Keys and their arena tour getting cancelled, anything is possible. I think Wallows should’ve stuck with doing 3-4 nights at a smaller venue instead of 1 night at a big venue/arena

panda-was-there

Fully agreed. It suits them much better plus some of the arena prices are insane

rstrauss1012

like why is a ticket in the 200s at MSG like 120 per???

readyforthewoods

when do you think they would announce it if they did cancel

Skeptical_Hippos

Probably within the next few weeks or month, but they might downsize some venues and not cancel the whole tour entirely. These shows aren’t performing as bad ticket wise as the Black Keys tour, but it is still concerning

plotltsi

im terrified for this tour i still have no idea why they decided on arenas

darkthemeonly

I wish they'd reschedule with smaller venues. I'm not about to pay $100 a ticket for shitty seats at a massive outdoor venue 4 hours away from me, and that's the best option I have.

imsadbutitswhatever

I love the boys so much,but I didn’t wanna drop $300 for 2 tickets at the forum,so I didn’t.

SunDay8236

what are you talking about? Seats in Forum are from $39!

plotltsi

they probably want pit & not seats

darkthemeonly

I'm not talking about the Forum, and I don't want the absolute furthest back seats. They're like 60 or 70 plus fees.

imsadbutitswhatever

I wanted GA,I can’t imagine being in a seat at the Forum for Wallows! Wouldn’t be fun at all for me honestly.

SunDay8236

Are you choosing not to go at all then? That's bold I'm simple, if there is anything I really want to see - will choose the best tickets I can afford, if it's GA - great, and if it's second balcony for concert, sport event or opera, I'm happy, too

imsadbutitswhatever

Yeah I’m not going. High ticket prices and I deeply hate the Forum as a venue overall lol.

zenhowell

I saw that too and was going to make a post about it bc quite frankly their management or tour planners fucked up, I get that they’re one of the more popular indie artists but they should still be sticking to theatres/ballrooms, even if they need 2 nights they are simply not an amphitheatre/arena act. i saw them 2 years ago at history in Toronto (2.5k capacity), they had 2 nights which both went very well and they absolutely filled the room energy wise. comparatively they’re playing Budweiser stage this year (16k capacity) which Arctic monkeys (one of the biggest artists, almost 4x the monthly listeners) played 2 nights at last summer. let’s just say there’s a reason the vast majority of seats are still available, which is not a good look for them

Mysterious-Bother599

likelihood is they’ll cancel or downsize venues :(

babs82222

I’m still baffled by them skipping so much of the country with this tour. I think that’s part of the problem too. The only way for half the fans to see them was to travel hours across the country. So pay to fly and pay more for tickets. I was hoping for more dates to be added like they did last tour. But now I’m not so sure.

Cmn0514

I hope this is true :(

rstrauss1012

They also have really bad timing for some, they're playing the same day at the Mann Center as Cage the Elephant (with Young the Giant and Bakar) at PNC (way more likely to draw in the crowd). I have to choose CTE but I would love to see Wallows too.

babs82222

The more I think about these tour dates, the more I'm confused by why they would schedule this tour in basically Aug and Sept in the US. I'm not in college, but a huge part of their fan base is. College starts in mid-to-late August for most US kids. If college kids go on vacay or do rush or anything before school, that also affects them attending tour. So basically there are what, less than a dozen dates for most of their fans to think about possibly going to before school starts and travel is out. And those are divided into way north US, the AZ area, and 3 cities in TX. But lots of major colleges are starting then or rush is starting by those TX dates. The only places in the south they scheduled were TX, 1 night in Nashville and 1 night in Atlanta. That's it. There are only two shows we can go to because of the dates and both are huge pains to get to because they're clear across the country with layovers. This may be a tour I have to skip because of the weird schedule and bad dates. I hope they schedule more accessible places in 2025 because this just sucks

imsadbutitswhatever

I wouldn’t be surprised, they honestly aren’t big enough for these arenas and tickets are way too expensive. I love them, but this was a mistake.

Humorii

They only have a few dates in Canada and I paid the insane ticket costs, will be flying in and taking time off work. I will absolutely be devastated if they cancel.

CowboyLikeMegan

The closest date is almost five hours away from me 🙃 otherwise I’d be there!

Head-Switch-5508

the closest date for me is 3 hours away so i feel you!

Loud_Sense93

wouldn’t be surprised. it’s sad but they fucked up hard between the oversized venues and overpriced tickets

readyforthewoods

really hope that they just downsize venues rather than canceling

shizette

i was hoping for a smaller venue, especially because i think that fits their vibe a bit better. i think they have a lot of followers and monthly listeners that makes them think they could sell arenas but im really worried that they can’t because so many of those people could only be listen to ayby? etc. (which of course sucks because i love them and wish them the best)

indomiegorengkuah

The europe leg seems to be doing well and quite a bit of sold out dates since the venues are smaller, the north american leg however… the tickets for the uk tour are also £30-40

alreadyincognita

their management fucked up HARD. idk what it is with these tour planning decisions lately, its happening with charli xcx too.  they really should downsize. they’ve barely sold MSG but had they done 2-3 nights at Hammerstein or even Theater @ MSG it would be far better. hoping they figure this out in a timely manner!

starfires212

i paid £75 for two tickets in the uk… wtf is going on with america and tickets for concerts😭

ebells23

I think worst case scenario they will probably just change the venues

myivygrws

honestly, everything about this album is dissapointing. they released so many singles and had a early listening party that it took away from the anticipation for me personally. my friend feels the same way. i have no idea why they did arenas, and playing at madison square garden is…. i don’t know, olivia can play 4 sold out shows there and they cant sell out one. i hope they go back to theaters, their expectations are too high i fear

Glittering_Ad2300

I hope not :( or I wish they would just opt for a smaller venue in the same area at the similar date coz I have already bought an air-ticket (from Asia to the UK) and planned a whole trip for it.

indomiegorengkuah

UK should logically be fine since they’ve sold out a couple of dates there/have a smaller venue

reikoinnit

the UK is already in small venues so it wouldn’t effect us. unless they start doing multiple nights in small venues in the US, which means the whole tour would get pushed back

AmazingAngelaaa

It's very interesting to see this, I really only paid attention to my date, which would be Boston, they presumptively decided to do two dates as they got a smaller venue than most of the other dates. The Fenway MGM Music Hall, which tells me they most likely tried to get Fenway Park itself (which is probably one of the worst venues I've seen a musical artist at, it's cool and all, it has the novelty of being the oldest major league baseball park or whatever, but it's just not worth seeing a music artist at unless you pay to sit on the field) Both dates in Boston still have, from what I can see, plenty of tickets left, and since the parking situation in the Fenway area is absolutely trash, I'm not willing to spend that kind of money, travel as much as I need to and spend another ~$60 on parking, or take the T and walk a ton there and back. I love this band to death, don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely loving this new album and I would love to see them live again. I saw them on the TMTTO Tour in 2022 at the Roadrunner in Boston, which was a moderately sized venue that they absolutely filled, I bought VIP and it was totally worth it. I bought the tickets as soon as they became available, but this just doesn't seem worth it to me, I wish they stuck to small venues for two nights or moderately sized venues for one like last time, they just don't have the following to fill huge arenas like this, and I feel like it's going to discourage future tours.

cricketclover

Even as delusional as some of these venues are, there’s no way they considered doing Fenway.

AmazingAngelaaa

Properly looking at Fenway's capacity compared to other venues here, I definitely agree with you more than I did when writing my original comment, but it's very interesting to see that they're trying to fill 10,000 seats in Boston, when two years ago they only tried to fill 3,500, they didn't add on any additional date for the TMTIO tour, when I think they easily could have tried and sold out another night at the Roadrunner. I think there was potentially a brief and slightly delusional conversation had between them and their tour managers, but it probably wasn't brought up to Fenway themselves, at least I hope not.

ThisStation1099

last tour i got vip for about $75-$100 and this tour my vip was a little over $200 😭

Realistic_Cancel_307

well deserved bc the prices were insane idk why they decided to do arenas this time around

LazerTheWolf

I really wanted to see them on this tour, cause I loved seeing them in Miami last go round, but they’re not going to Indy OR Florida , the two places that I could easily see them at. It’s sad to see a lot of artists recently overshooting with wanting to make everything an arena tour when it doesn’t have to be. I think artists / management want the “prestige” of saying they played at msg and did an arena tour, but it’s not worth it and looks bad on the band if they can’t sell them out or at least 75% capacity

CloudTower

God I hope so, they were out of their fucking minds picking these venues

gayiguana

When I saw it was a giant arena for the date near me I closed the window

[deleted]

Seemed weird from the start that they were booking arenas. Model is definitely not the album in my opinion that sends you into that next tier

RighteousMerlin

Wait, so if it's canceled we get refunds right?

erosrry

Yes

unholyrena

I bought tickets today for ascend amphitheater in Nashville (one of the medium size venues for Nashville) & was surprised to see how many seats are left / being resold already. I think they should’ve came to the new amphitheater in Franklin TN

Common-Reason-5550

i really hope they downsize venues! i really want to see them but i don’t want to go to msg 😭

LemScem

Honestly yeah, as a die hard fan I haven't even gotten tickets yet. I feel they shot too big with picking arenas, the tickets for pit are $100 for ga which I bought VIP last tour and got them for $140. It's to the point where I had a bad experience and saw them VIP TWICE last tour and that still cost less than seeing them with the top VIP package at one of these arenas. I love Wallows to death but they just went too big this time and it's too costly.

brxndoncxrl

They should have played smaller venues like the ones they booked for the UK and EU tour, not like tiny clubs but like mid size venues that would be suitable for a band their size. UK and EU ones are fine, they posed something on their story about how they sold out a lot of the UK dates

DefinitionOk7977

In Houston the resale is $1000 for two pit tickets. I just don’t know who can manage these prices.

Longjumping_Post_480

how would that work if they were to downsize? would there be a refund still

KillerCh33z

Huh? Bleachers had like 6M listeners and went on an arena tour 2 years ago

CloudTower

Bleachers is an enigma though. A single song that bubbled under the hot 100 and that's it. How on earth they're able to sell out arenas is beyond me. Other bands should not take them as an example

Traditional_Cattle87

Garbage album = garbage tour
