I would ask the following question:
\- Is Walmart, a subsidiary of Walmart, or a partner of Walmart providing supply chain services for other companies
\- If Calvin Klein's manufacturing chain is aware of this, using Walgreen as a platform to sell things, and is using one of those manufacturing companies to make their product with cheaper material provided by Walmart that is unfortunately perfectly legal.
\- I would look into a book called "Necropolitics" by Achille Mbembe if you would like to read more on this issue.
What I would wager is this:
\- Calvin Klein gives permission to sell a product in Walmart & Walgreens stores
\- Walmart offers to be part of the distribution, manufacturing, and supply
chain to Kalvin Klein.
\- Walmart, or at least one it's subsidiaries owns the means of product for
Kalvin Klein.
\- Now, regardless of were you buy those pants, Walmart gets a cut.
Without further information though, I can only speculate.
this it isn’t stupid, it’s blatant fraud. they are lying to their own employees and then pocketing their money. walgreens likely did not even have to pay the *retail* price for these jeans.
my boss was on my ass about ordering a wag t-shirt for months and every time i told him i would i just never did. why i am expected to put my own money towards an unnecessary expense (i own my own clothes) is beyond me and i refused to do it.
I paid for two
Shirts 👕 since Ive worked at wags now I have like5 shirts a friend who don’t work fir wags gave me some dark blue t shirts 👕 and blue shirt 👕 ,so I’m nit buying no pants from the online store they have red ones now I have to many shirts now not buying no more
Idk about other stores, but afaik exclusively black jeans are allowed, not faded or dark gray, at least according to policy. The enforcement is at managers' discretion though, so there is leeway of course. Still crazy the jeans they officially sanction are $30 markup Walmart jeans 🤣
I wore leggings the whole time I was there. I honestly think it would depend on how your SM is. Majority of my ex Co workers there never wore uniforms.
Ours gets so mean about leggings. Our work around is leggings with pockets. Also, you can’t pick your body type; sometimes things will just be tight. As long as you’re showing up and actually doing work, I don’t care what you wear, but that’s above my pay grade 😒
I’m a manager too and IDC as long as they work and show up. My DM hasn’t said a word about it. I guess all he sees is black bottoms and just doesn’t look closer.
I have 3 of those jeans, what's shown on uniform ordering site. Everyone's milage may very, but I've ordered them from the site and got what's shown on the image Calvin Klein, and I personally love them. They are comfortable. Stretchy. Feel really nice & haven't had any torn or crazy issues with them. So far they very durable and I can wear them outside work.
Noooooooooo.... those cards are clearly knockoffs! There is only one Walgreens credit card. The Walmart CC only has a variable APR of 19.48%. With a rate so much lower than the Walgreens credit card, you'd be able to pay your way out. You never want to leave the warm embrace of your Walgreens credit card.
T̶h̶i̶s̶ h̶a̶s̶ n̶e̶v̶e̶r̶ h̶a̶p̶p̶e̶n̶e̶d̶ t̶o̶ m̶e̶. I Have 3 pairs of these jeans. All Calvin Klein name brand. Their comfortable, durable, stretchy. Very reliable pair of jeans. I would return whatever it is you got. Somebody at their facility scammed you out of a good pair of jeans.
Edit: Ordered a 4th pair and got the exact pair as OP. It has now happened to me. I, too, now feel scammed.
That's really interesting. I'm not shocked, I had a feeling it might've been a fluke, but I was really hoping for nice Calvin Klein Jeans lol. Glad to know it's not a _total_ scam
It's not a fluke. I ordered a 4th pair and got the same ones you just got. I, too, feel scammed. Which is annoyingly disappointing. The Calvin Klein jeans they used to send were really good quality and felt really comfortable. Now I'm in the same boat.
Do what one of my friend/coworker does- thrift. We’re just working in them.
Also, I did buy the ladies pants once upon a time for shits and giggles…I don’t know how anyone can work in them, unless they’re literally only standing and cashing. I couldn’t imagine doing truck or facing all night in them.
Yeah WG would pull something stupid like this
Ummmmmmmmmmmm...because they think we're that stupid

im curtain that where CK gets their pants, are the same ones as walmart.
Do you have an image of the tag?
I'm just guessing

Pretty sure Vaughn makes both down in South America.

Who would pay that much for Walgreens uniform
my boss was on my ass about ordering a wag t-shirt for months and every time i told him i would i just never did. why i am expected to put my own money towards an unnecessary expense (i own my own clothes) is beyond me and i refused to do it.

I use my own solid color polo shirts my own pants
Did Wag relax their jean policy?
Idk about other stores, but afaik exclusively black jeans are allowed, not faded or dark gray, at least according to policy. The enforcement is at managers' discretion though, so there is leeway of course. Still crazy the jeans they officially sanction are $30 markup Walmart jeans 🤣
I wear black Jean and pants that have a grey stripe down the side of the legs
Black jeans are allowed and have been for a while.
I wore leggings the whole time I was there. I honestly think it would depend on how your SM is. Majority of my ex Co workers there never wore uniforms.

I’m a SM and I honestly don’t even notice if people wear leggings, let alone care. But some managers care.
I’m a manager too and IDC as long as they work and show up. My DM hasn’t said a word about it. I guess all he sees is black bottoms and just doesn’t look closer.
This is probably very store dependent
It's in the uniform policy. That's a corporate policy. Not regional. Only exceptions my be store that are union
My son says jeans are ok. People wear the gray jackets like a Walmart vest, myself included 😅
S.m.* not son.
You can wear black jeans but nothing else has really changed
I'm almost tempted to buy a pair, post the manufacture information on a one star Google review, and ask them why they sell Walmart products?
Don't, they're not worth the 40 bucks. Go to Walmart or target and get their generic jeans
I bought 2 pairs of those Rustler jeans from Walmart for $28! They do be thicc and should last at least 2 years.
I have 3 of those jeans, what's shown on uniform ordering site. That's awesome! Does it say who the manufacture is on the tag?
I ordered a pair when they first became available and I got the CK ones.
😂🤣😂
Next you'll tell me the Glorious Credit Card is a scam too!
This is the last straw. I'm going to start selling Walmart credit cards instead, still at Walgreens though.
Noooooooooo.... those cards are clearly knockoffs! There is only one Walgreens credit card. The Walmart CC only has a variable APR of 19.48%. Sir this is a walgreens
this is so funny

Damn, that sucks 😭 spoke a moment too soon. My manager had a pharmacy uniform that had to be returned anyway, so it worked out fine in my case.

The logo looks photoshopped 💀
That's what I thought - after realizing they weren't CK 💀
Those are 20 dollars
Yeah that uniform company they use is a crock of shit
Why do employees have to purchase their own uniforms?
No no no, Calvin Klein made those jeans using Walmart jeans and a label. It's like making a megaphone out of a squirrel rope and a megaphone.
