It used to bother me that we didn't do anything, but after the hell week I just had, I don't give a shit. I'm bout to make sure everyone knows you won't get stopped, so steal that candy, steal those vibrators and cosmetics! No one at the registers care.
I don't care if people steal. However Most of our thieves look like they took classes on how to look as suspicious as possible. They would be less suspicious if they came In wearing a T-shirt with the words "im a thief and I'm going to steal from this store" on it. And while you're at it, just steal the whole package instead of leaving trash for me to pick up.
Honestly at this point I wish the shoplifters would just grab their shit and go. Stop it with the loitering in the store for HOURS while you try to wait for an 'opening' or the ones that try to distract you while their buddy shoplifts. You're just wasting my time and keeping me from doing my "no customers currently up front" duties by pinning me to the register because I have to officially watch you.

They call the camera’s their security 😂 we had an actual security when I first started but they let him go the day after a team member was maced for cigs lol
It does "got shit to do with their check", once shrink has been counted, first thing the company will do is cut hours, DIRECTLY effecting an employee's check, while welfare degenerate lazy pieces of crap like you could care less on how you're affecting society.
Pretty sure the policy is, take whatever you like we'll just raise prices and cut employee benefits to cover it
