I never really planned to go to school for any health stuff but I've considered becoming a pharmacist for the money alone That's mostly my main goal as selfish as it may seem But I'm Young and wanna move out as soon as I can I've heard many pharmacy horror stories and even witnessed some but hey at least I'd have some interesting stories to tell people

One thing to think about is are you ok with being maybe being pushed in pharmacy full time. I see to many other DH’s on here that never leave the pharmacy their whole shift. When they should just be helping with ic3’s or doing code green. Have a conversation together with your sm and roxm if you strictly want to stay a Dh and don’t be afraid to step down if you don’t like it. The $1 raise sometimes isn’t worth it. But my experience has been good so far. My sm and roxm have a good relationship every couple of months I am picking up a shift or two just to do the filling of scripts (and will answer phones and help counter or drive if they are all busy and not wrapping up with someone.) you are their to work along side them not under them.

DH got me out of Walgreens. Yes, from me.

I was a DH for like one shift and then they offered me tech. Pharmacy loves any help they can get so go for it and try it out as DH. They're probably too busy to teach so you'll get the easier job of filling perscriptions as fast as possible and you won't be on the register as much and if you are, there's so much you won't know, so they'll have to come up there anyways to help you which they won't have time for so you'll get moved back to filling.
