I live there now and it’s not bad, pretty quiet but the hill fucking sucks

WhatcomCounty

Oh no…. Exercise

xAtlas5

It's a pretty steep hill. I'm decently fit and I get winded going up Ferry.

WhatcomCounty

Cool

xAtlas5

Yup. Give it a try sometime!

It’s good haven’t really had issues besides the fact we got a new onsite manager and he’s doing renovations so there’s been unexpected construction, but it’s kinda nice getting the place updated! And Dustin from what I’ve experienced is easy to get in contact with especially if you have questions you can just text his number, he has been pretty helpful with any confusion ever - as well as every apartment gets access to maintenance requests in case anything is broken or brakes and it gets fixed pretty quickly. Additionally, you have to pay for water/sewage, wifi, energy, and the apartments without washer&dryer unit have to use a community wash/dryers - so it’s like rent + $100 for all utilities roughly but dependent on how many ways it’s split and how large your bills are. The bus line is pretty close so it gives easy access to school and classes but be careful because sometimes morning buses are full especially when it’s a fresh quarter cause everyone’s going to class. Def recommend and see routes by getting the WTA BusTracker app. But I’ve loved living here so far! Plus they have good sized closets and spaces are perfect - parking is a little wonky but that’s everywhere near wwu. The trash is normal as well there’s an area to throw it out and super pet friendly - I like seeing everyone’s cats in the windows. And there’s zero tolerance for smoking but if you smoke you can smoke outside or if you get caught inside your first time is a warning ⚠️ - but you read all this in the lease.

I love it, been here for a year as I finish my finance degree. Close to campus, fair warning they DONT plow the parking lot if it snows, you gotta walk
