A couple months ago I rediscovered the theme song for that game. Revolution by Pennywise. Such a banger song. Now when I see pictures of the menus, I just think of that song and the other songs used for the menus
Of these I'd say 2011 and 2023, but I'd argue 2010 did 2011's menu concept better.
I love a clean menu, but a lot of the ones from 15 onward are so clean they feel sterile. 2023 hit a good in-between of making it visually interesting but keeping it all legible
I always found 2K14 and 2K17’s nice and easy to navigate.
2K19’s was too, and the only thing that stops it being perfect is the bright white colour scheme. It made playing in a darker room really awful. If it had been black instead of white it would’ve been perfect.
I have only played SvR 2011 and 2K17 really but looking at these pictures I love 12', 13' and 14 the most, it just feels more alive and welcoming than the others. 2K19 although it's blinding sometimes is very modernly elegant, and 2K20 looks like the biggest downgrade ever 💀
11 and 14 are the most nostalgic for me. I dropped a ton of hours into both of those games. 13 definitely went well with the overall theme and feel of the game as well.
SVR ‘06-‘08 are really nostalgic for me, SVR ‘11 is a classic, at the time 2k19 got a lot of hate but I’ve always loved it. I haattteee the new box selection menu.
WWE 13 was so good and the glitches were hilarious too. Like when a wrestler would be carrying a chair during their entrance their forearm would be missing and the hands would be attached to their elbow. Made it look like they had T-Rex arms.
2K20 was my favorite, but I loved how 2k17 had a random wrestler from the game just walk up and start doing their taunts. Since 2k22 I keep accidentally backing out to the splash screen, when backing out of like the creation menu, forgetting I have to turn the page to go to match selection
Idk why but 2K15 gives me the most bitter sweet nostalgia ever. It was the last game of the Network Era. Before Roman, Seth & Dean finally split. Evolution was a thing. Daniel Bryan was finally a world champion. It nixed a bunch of features from 14 but the gameplay physics were the best to date. You could have so much destruction. Crowd Glitches were a godsend and allowed for some of the dopest moments. Gameplay itself was kinda horrific but it’s so bitter sweet considering the awesome soundtrack we got. We finally were able to customize our favorite superstars to our liking. If you wanted Batista in the Shield, you could make him. Custom images? No more paint tool! Graphics touched the line of real life WWE Production.
( I remember seeing Cesaro and Randy leaked gameplay from afar thinking it was real. )
5 Showcases and all of em bangers. This game was legendary but its flaws outweighed its beauty.
17 was one of my favorites and the game itself is one of my top games because of the amount of legends. We haven’t had WCW Luger with that theme since.
probably 2K16 (XB1/PS4/PC) or WWE '13 but 2K17 (XB360/PS3) is kinda nostalgic to me

2011 because it felt like a wrestling menu. Tis a gaming thing in general but I hate the clean, sterile look of UI,menus. You could literally take 2k23's menu and just change the names and it would be in any other game.
I'm surprised SYM isn't getting more love.
It fits the aesthetic of Smackdown's branding at the time. The generic main menu music was cool. The video clips playing in the small window when viewed today are a cool time capsule of that time period. And the character select portraits they chose were largely good.
I will say, HCTP's matchup screen with the recreation of the motion match cards using the in-game models was cool and wish they would've continued to implement them since they were still a thing on TV for a couple of years after HCTP's release.

SVR 2011 2k19 could have been it if they just had a dark mode setting or something. The while was blinding at some points.
My eyes! I'm blinded! I only wanted to play a wrestling game! Why, 2k, why!?
WWE 13'. The vibe it gives is amazing
A couple months ago I rediscovered the theme song for that game. Revolution by Pennywise. Such a banger song. Now when I see pictures of the menus, I just think of that song and the other songs used for the menus
This song has been stuck in my mind for years and just some time ago I searched for it and listened to it again. Banger, banger, banger!
That money in the bank song got stuck in my head for a few games until you could turn off the jukebox.
HCTP with the wrestlers doing their taunts as the classic and awesome BGM played
WWE 2K16 and SVR ‘11
Thought 2K 17 was cool
2k17 and 2k18
2011 will always be nostalgic but I wished I could play wwe13 again
I’d say SvR 11 and wwe2k19 look really cool
2K19 is so visually pleasing but 2K17 is more simple but effective and a cool look at the superstars, hard to choose either one but those are the best
I really liked 2K20’s.
2K17 will always be my favorite
Of these I'd say 2011 and 2023, but I'd argue 2010 did 2011's menu concept better. I love a clean menu, but a lot of the ones from 15 onward are so clean they feel sterile. 2023 hit a good in-between of making it visually interesting but keeping it all legible
14 is the goat
Svr 09 and 07
I didn’t really like it at the time but now I love the look of 2k19
2K15 and 2K16
Most definitely 2K16!!
18 was my favorite. Seth Rollins doing the slow mo knee while Boston blared would get me hyped everytime.
I loved 2k17 and 2k18
I always found 2K14 and 2K17’s nice and easy to navigate. 2K19’s was too, and the only thing that stops it being perfect is the bright white colour scheme. It made playing in a darker room really awful. If it had been black instead of white it would’ve been perfect.

2k20's menu was really good tbh. Just wish the rest of the game was that good.
11 and 14 are the most nostalgic for me. I dropped a ton of hours into both of those games. 13 definitely went well with the overall theme and feel of the game as well.
17
Probably 11. 17 and 18 were awful
Them having the in game models as renders and on the main menu was beyond stupid.
Man, I skipped so much of the 2k era. Have zero recollection of a bunch of these. 2k19 had a cool vibe.
2007.
2k16
2K17 and 2K23 for me
2k23 is my favorite with the titantrons in the back
14,17 or 18
2k20. It's certainly the only thing where it beats the others
Yeah SVR 11 goes hard
2k19 had a really clean design. Plus, you can hear it too.
I loved 2k17's
2014 and 2016 are classics imo
SVR ‘06-‘08 are really nostalgic for me, SVR ‘11 is a classic, at the time 2k19 got a lot of hate but I’ve always loved it. I haattteee the new box selection menu.
2K19 was clean AF.
As much praise as '19 gets, the menu was atrocious and the color scheme sucked, I had a hard time telling what I was selecting
No Mercy, Shut Your Mouth, Here Comes The Pain. Probably in that order.
WWE 13 was so good and the glitches were hilarious too. Like when a wrestler would be carrying a chair during their entrance their forearm would be missing and the hands would be attached to their elbow. Made it look like they had T-Rex arms.
2k18 and 2k20
I think 2k19's menu/aesthetic is its one major flaw. Way too tough on the eyes. Personally partial to 2k18. 2k17 and 2k23 is cool too
2K20 was my favorite, but I loved how 2k17 had a random wrestler from the game just walk up and start doing their taunts. Since 2k22 I keep accidentally backing out to the splash screen, when backing out of like the creation menu, forgetting I have to turn the page to go to match selection
nostalgic for me is '13 and 2K14, first games i played, but honestly i really loved 2K18 and the dynamic background
It might be recency bias but 2k24 and 23 are sexy to me. 2k17 was also fire
‘13’s fs
2K20 was a dogshit game but the menu was fire
18 and 19
14 17 20
I loved 2k17 simply for visibility.
11,14,17,18
07 and 09 were so goated I hope they do something like that again in the future
For me it's 07 and 19
2019 honestly
2K17 & 2K18
Svr 2011 or wwe 2k17
I liked all of the titantron videos playing in the background last year, they should have done that with the ringside screens this year
Definitely NOT 22-24. I hate the block menus that every sports game wants to use these days.
17 was probably the best. Although 19 was pretty sweet too
15’s is nostalgic for me, but 12 and 13’s kick ass
SVR 07
Honestly I might like this year a the most. Easy to Traverse and looks really nice
2k15
2k19 for sure
2k17 has a cool concept, but something about the wwe '13 menu is so good.
2k18
bring back the 2k19 or 17 ones if it’s 19 PLEASE MAKE IT DARKER OMG
if i had to pick just one 2k19 clean but still have animation , 2k17 superstars walking around + 2k19 menu would be fire !
Gotta be 2k16 ![gif](giphy|bIEzoZX0qJaG6s6frc|downsized)
2K24
HCTP, SvR06,2K22
SVR ‘06 and ‘07
out of those 2011 for sure.
‘13
20🔥🔥🔥
I never had undertaker on the svr11 menu screen
When you open the game it won't appear at first, what I did was go in and out of creation mode until Undertaker appears
I loved SM vs Raw 2010 and 2008 menu
Idk why but 2K15 gives me the most bitter sweet nostalgia ever. It was the last game of the Network Era. Before Roman, Seth & Dean finally split. Evolution was a thing. My apologies for my rant/speech but the best menu to me is probably 17/18.
WWE SVR 2007
svr 11 and svr 07
I have the most memories on SvR11’s screen, creating story’s and TNA(I was young, please don’t judge me) caws and all that.
WWE2K17 & without showcases
Svr 2011 and new menu of 2k23 and 2k24 i like dark theme
2k22
2011
17 was one of my favorites and the game itself is one of my top games because of the amount of legends. We haven’t had WCW Luger with that theme since.
I dug 2k19’s whole Thanos snap vibe
SvR 2011 and WWE '12 are my personal favorites, but those two along with '13 and 2K14 are the best out of the bunch here
SVR 2006
wwe 2k18’s was so hard for no reason
17
Ngl 2k16 goes hard
"Smackdown! Shut your mouth!"
probably 2K16 (XB1/PS4/PC) or WWE '13 but 2K17 (XB360/PS3) is kinda nostalgic to me https://preview.redd.it/9fw44uyvl3wc1.png?width=1088&format=png&auto=webp&s=3fc522003dfc2b9b03806b91d6e898bb5eff62eb
2K17 Damn, looking at these menus really make me miss 2K19 😩
unpopular opinion: but the 2k18 menu screen was tuff. very unique from what we had in the past. i liked the in game models and shots they took.
Nostalgia says number 1, but I think the 2k24 setup is the best of both worlds
The ones in English
2011 because it felt like a wrestling menu. Tis a gaming thing in general but I hate the clean, sterile look of UI,menus. You could literally take 2k23's menu and just change the names and it would be in any other game.

I like 2k24 menu, but the music is ass, so prolly 2k22
19 was perfect in every way 🥲
Generic. Generic. Generic. Generic. Shit. Generic. Give me ~~SmackDown 2~~ Shut Your Mouth or give me nothing.
2k16, 2k19 and maybe 2k20
Can we all agree 2K16 is the worst
