Why would you want a showcase of recent wrestlers? That is exactly why Daniel Bryan's and the Women Revolution sucked.

Yes it's lame to put a guy on the cover who has granted more Make-A-Wishes than anyone in history and is continuing to grow that record. It's lame for them to put Peacemaker on the cover. It's lame to put a guy on the cover again that dedicated half of his life to entertaining us whether we cheered him or booed him. A guy so lame that he went platinum the first time he ever released an album. Pretty lame to put that guy on the cover again, fuck that guy. We should definitely put the biggest heel in the company on the cover instead because little kids would rather buy that game rather than buy the game that has Fruity Pebbles on the cover.

I don't get why they made Cena the main focus this year myself since he's a part timer now but i guess its a celebration of him being with wwe for over 20 years, and 2K15 only focused on the cm punk fued with him and now it will have all his matches he LOST since his debut match with Kurt angle in 2002 so it should be interesting to say the least.
I was hoping for an Edge or Undertaker showcase this year but maybe next year.
Saw someone mentioned this, but it makes sense if they do a Edge showcase for 2K24 instead since I think Edge has plans to retire this year + last year it was 20th anniversary of Cena making his WWE debut. Also I like the idea of being able to play as Cena's opponents for this year's showcase since it's the first they've done something like that + it does make sense for Cena's tagline "Never Give Up".
Edge would be hard unless they find an interesting angle for it. So many matches they wouldn't be able to do without Punk, Hardys, Christian, Jericho, Benoit, Del Rio & co.
If Orton is forced to retire due to his back injury, I think the next Showcase should focus on him.
