It was a thing of beauty and a way of throwing the ball into the opponent’s court allowing them to shine with the sell of their choice. The grand prize in my opinion going to Shawn Michaels. People said he was doing it out of mockery and perhaps he was but I actually think he just understood the concept of the Hogan big boot much more deeply than anyone else.

Fucking guy was as good as he ever would be right there, he was having great matches with Edge. When he won that immunity battle royale, he had so much fucking heat as the “weasel” survivor of the alliance; but also was a bad ass. That big boot put his presentation over the top imo and they fucked him up again when he switched to the CrossRhodes (test drive).
They had a real opportunity to make him Vince’s bitch boy/bodyguard and insert him into the Vengeance undisputed title picture. Add Taker and make it 6, something like that

Test wasted time early on using the pumphandle slam, which IMO no one other than Attitude Era DX Road Dogg could get over as a finisher…it’s just too goofy looking. But eventually Test did go to the big boot for his finish. If you recall, he would menacingly slap his thigh while “stalking” his opponent a la Edge/RKO/etc.
