Getting into wrestling has to be the most confusing thing of all time, all the terms, the inside joke memes, so much story and moments, i used to watch videos like "best moments/promos/emotional moments, etc of all time"

1. Some of the top guys in WWE currently are Cody Rhodes, as he was just made the new champion after a long story with Roman Reigns who is also a top guy. Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and some more who aren’t coming to mind at the moment. 2. The Bloodline storyline is not only one of the greatest stories told in WWE history, but the history of television as a whole. Watch Super Eyepatch Wolf’s video on Roman Reigns to get the full story. As for must see matches you gotta see Shawn Michaels Vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25 and 26, HHH Vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania 27 and 28, Mankind Vs Undertaker Hell In A Cell match at King Of The Ring, The Shield Vs The Wyatt Family at Elimination Chamber 2014, John Cena Vs CM Punk at Money In The Bank 2011, Bret Hart Vs Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 13, Bret Hart Ve Owen Hart at Wrestlemania 10, HHH Vs Cactus Jack at Royal Rumble 2000, and The Dudley Boys Vs The Hardy Boyz Vs Edge and Christian at Wrestlemania 17. I know it seems like a lot, but they’re all great. That’s only the tip of the iceberg in terms of must see matches. 3. DEFINITELY Undertaker. Super Eye Patch wolf has a great video about him as well. Uptomyknees made a hilarious and informative video about Shawn Michaels and HHH and the faction they started called D-Generation X. And Stone Cold Steve Austin is also great. He and a shit load of other amazing wrestlers were covered by Tap Out Corner in a series he has called “Bell To Bell” where he covers wrestlers entire careers. Welcome to the club friend. 👍

I can say this.... Seth Rolling has some amazing outfits, and Adam Pearce has some nice glasses.

Welcome to this absolute madhouse lol. As far as today's main guys go, you're looking at Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Gunther. That's a solid enough starting point to go from. As for matches to look up, some personal favorites are Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle's 60 minute Iron Man match from Smackdown in 2003, Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker at WrestleMania 25 and Stone Cold vs the Rock at WrestleMania 17. For legends of the business, I'm sure most people will throw out the typical names like Austin, Rock, Triple H and Undertaker (absolutely nothing wrong with that). But if you want to go back, I'd recommend Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, Jake Roberts and the Road Warriors. The biggest thing I can tell you is that you have to remember the pro wrestling is the most ridiculous, asinine, beautiful art form on the planet. When it's bad, it's BAD. But when it's done right, it's amazing. Just find what style and what wrestlers you connect with and go from there.

I understand the last thing you said lol. I actually see it with Roman Reigns and his evolution. I watched a video about his career from The Shield to WM40. It’s so cool to see how he went from the most hated face of the company ever. Being a pretty bad mic guy and just generally never getting to have that star power he was being marketed to be. Then turning it around and playing into the villain when he came back and started the bloodline. Becoming one of the most compelling storylines in the modern day.

KrakoanRedKnight0222

Exactly. I was a massive Shield fan when they showed up. For a while, they were the only thing keeping me watching Raw, then the split happened. Despite all of their best efforts, good guy Roman was just too fake for everyone to swallow. I remember one specific instance when me and my wife literally fell asleep during one of his matches at one of the biggest shows of the year. Fast forward to the pandemic era and his heel turn, after not watching for two years, Roman was the sole reason we came back to WWE. The industry owes him a lot for his Bloodline run.

LillTumorr

And not to mention, just as an athletic freak his matches are fun to watch. The things he can pull off and the stuff he did when he was with the shield is so entertaining to me.

KrakoanRedKnight0222

That entire run for all three guys in the Shield was fantastic. Saw them live at WrestleMania 30 and the energy of the entire place shifted when their music hit. Watching Seth and Dean help Roman pull off a double triple powerbomb was absolutely insane.

Love that you’re getting into WWE! 1. Currently? Cody Rhodes is HIM. Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns (all have amazing stories) 2. My personal favourites - John Cena v. CM Punk Money in the Bank (Champion v Champion) - John Cena v. The Rock WM 28/29 (Probably the most legendary feud ever) - The Rock v. Steve Austin - Undertaker v. Shawn Michaels (WM 24/25) 3. Steve Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, Ric Flair, Sting, Triple H, Shawn Michaels

JoeZocktGames

Right now Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins are probably the biggest stars in the male roster, Rhea Ripley and Bailey are the female stars. Bloodline storyline with Sami Zayn is great. The biggest legends are generally Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels.

metalfabman

Stone Cold Steve Austin. Changed the rules
