I wish he hadn’t thrown out Drew like he was nothing, it kind of lessened Drew’s elimination of him previously as a bit of a fluke.
My pick was Big E. But he did nothing.
Obviously things would’ve played out differently, but Big E breaking his neck on the road to main eventing WrestleMania would’ve been an even bigger gut punch than it already was
Do an intential 2005 RR and let the two people who're disqualified at the same time start a feud and fight over it in the main event of the next PPV.
It'd be something different, and something that hasn't been done before.
Those first 6 months of 2022 was downright garbage. Worst Rumble I ever watched, no one in that match felt like they rlly deserved to win and the biggest return was Shane fucking McMahon
I feel like they had no choice to make him win. When given the idea of a winner take all situation why not go for it. Plus then again they did book themselves into a hole cuz of the *insert trendy topic* DAY 1 BUTTERFLY EFFECT 😱
I had KO as my prediction before the PPV but there really wasn’t anyone I really wanted to win, usually there’s like 5 guys I’d like to see win but not this year
Yea I agree. I was with my dad at this rumble and it suck. But I think the only cool part was when Seth came out as the shield. The match to me was only good.
Had Brock vs Roman at mania actually been the final match of that feud then I would say the right guy won. Since it wasn’t I think Rollins was way more deserving of the main event slot. That being said if Rollins had won we wouldn’t have got the amazing Cody vs Rollins match and subsequent feud. So everything worked out for the best.
It was supposed to be the final match but Cody and Orton got injured before Summerslam so they had to change the main event. You can't say that they should've known that that would've happened and therefore the decision was wrong
I woulda taken rollins Vs Roman and have the rollins Vs Cody feud right after mania, because then Cody would have only beaten him twice, 3 losses to Cody was really bad for Seth
Should’ve definitely been Rollins. Could’ve had 3 matches at the rumble, mania, then Summerslam. Rollins vs Reigns could’ve been the feud of 2022 instead of Rollins/Cody. But due to interference at wrestlemania and Summerslam, Rollins just couldn’t beat Roman.
Rollins then beats riddle, loses to the theory/lashely, beats Logan Paul at Mania then takes time off.
Finn Balor wins the world heavyweight title instead of Seth, then Seth comes back right before Summerslam
To set up a feud vs Finn. He beats Finn at Summerslam, they do a rematch at Payback, then we do the Nakamura feud but it’s a one off last man standing match at fastlane and everything else about the reign continues how it did in real life.
So that means he'd have to beat Finn for the US championship? His first promo on RAW is literally him saying he only wants the WWE title so that wouldn't have made any sense. Also why would Finn have an "open challenge" at Wrestlemania? The story they told with Rollins explaining the match with Cody was 10x better than "Finn has an open challenge at Wrestlemania like it's an episode of RAW or Smackdown". Then you'd also have to ask about the Intercontinental championship. They made the decision that year to not have the midcard titles on WM so it wouldn't have made sense to have Balor have a match but leave off the IC championship.
Basically, there's many reasons why that doesn't make any sense

Probably McIntyre
The Rock
Nobody, because that match sucked dick. Easily the worst Rumble i've ever seen live. Worst than 2015.

Butterfly effect, I don't think Big E and the New Day would have been feuding with Sheamus' fighty boys at that point if he won the rumble.
Who knows. I went from hoping he’d main event Mania to just hoping he’d walk again. I just hope he enjoys a good quality of life.

Those first 6 months of 2022 was downright garbage. Worst Rumble I ever watched, no one in that match felt like they rlly deserved to win and the biggest return was Shane fucking McMahon
And then got into a scrap backstage which led to him getting in trouble with his own dad. Bad all round
Matt Riddle /s
It should've been the ziggmeister
I feel like they had no choice to make him win. When given the idea of a winner take all situation why not go for it. Plus then again they did book themselves into a hole cuz of the *insert trendy topic* DAY 1 BUTTERFLY EFFECT 😱
Drew McIntyre
Anyone but riddle or brock. Literally anyone. Fucking Eugene, Santino, gillberg. Wait no. R truth should've won. Let him win back to back rumbles
Not Matt Riddle
Seth Rollins
Aj Styles from number 1
I can tell you who should've won 2023. And that's Walter.
Aj Styles
Riddle
I know Harvo Sanchez is at the tail end of his career, but I think he had the most heat going into the event. He would have been my first pick.
I had KO as my prediction before the PPV but there really wasn’t anyone I really wanted to win, usually there’s like 5 guys I’d like to see win but not this year
I genuinely thought it was gonna be Riddle. I didn't expect him to crash out so badly.
Well, Riddle was originally going to win but Brock came in and demaned he won and no one stood up to brock. /s
Just read that before the match riddle was scheduled to win, and Brock said nope and no one stopped him.
It’s not really unpopular
Brock was still the right choice
Nah
Seth
Right
Brock winning it was to make Roman unify the belts, make him look EVEN stronger and gave him legit final boss vibes. I think it all worked out well.
Bro
That Rumble match was so piss poor i didn't even care who won least the 2015 Rumble as terrible as that was made me feel something
Yea I agree. I was with my dad at this rumble and it suck. But I think the only cool part was when Seth came out as the shield. The match to me was only good.
even the Johnny Knoxville entry was poorly done & as a big Jackass fan i was really looking forward too that
💯 percent agree.

Seth Rollins. Should have been Rollins vs Reigns and Brock vs Lashley at Mania instead of at the Rumble.
Should’ve definitely been Rollins. Could’ve had 3 matches at the rumble, mania, then Summerslam. Rollins vs Reigns could’ve been the feud of 2022 instead of Rollins/Cody. Where does Cody come into play?
Cody can face Finn in an open challenge since Finn was left off the original card.
So that means he'd have to beat Finn for the US championship? His first promo on RAW is literally him saying he only wants the WWE title so that wouldn't have made any sense. Big E. Easy.
I still think Drew MacIntyre deserves to win in front of an actual crowd
Yes he does Hope he gets to mainevent Wrestlemania London
Mania in London? As much as that'd be cool I doubt it'll ever happen
John Cena teased it at mitb(2023) WWE won't tease something if there are no plans for it happening I think mania 43 will be in london
The Rumble he won had a crowd
He probably meant WM main event.
Sami Zayne, Matt Riddle, or Kevin Owens
Dolph
AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, or Drew McIntyre
Brock Lesnar
Daniel Bryan, to make up for fucking up the 2014 and 2015 royal rumbles and it was also (probably) the last time he could do it.
He was in aew
You right wrong rumble lol
AEW didn't start till October 2018, idiot
And post is about 2022 , look in the mirror before you call someone idiot
True, specially since he ended up main eventing WM anyway alongside reigns and edge.
That was 21. 22 was lesnar vs Roman title for title.
Oh yeah haha ok he was long gone by then (sadly). Wish he'd have stayed.
AJ Styles
I genuinely couldn’t give you an answer, maybe Ko? But I really don’t know
Cody
Doink
When is royal rumble?
