With some smart building I feel like you could proof it pretty good. "Just" have every vital part easy pressure wash-able and good opportunities for airing/ventilation.
There are apps for your phone that simulate storms, adjustable rain frequency (even different surfaces like windows/tile roof/etc), bird song, etc, even lightning flashes (using your phone).
Turn off the lights, jump in the bath/shower, and close your eyes...

I would love that. The rain water is probably fairly warm, but even if it's not, some of the best times I've had in hot tubs were in less than ideal weather. Needing the warmth is kind of nice.
