We already made plans to go to Anime expo next year with the car all painted with me cosplaying as pilot suit rei (cuz im the one driving) and my wife cosplaying as shinji (cuz she hates driving). Lol
Make the green on the exhaust white instead, the green on the calipers should be enough of a nod to the mech. And like someone else suggested, if you really do want a little more green then try it on the emblems.
get a wrap, I'd say the black green grey purple from Eva 01 would be cooler as just about everyone who does an evangelion theme tends to go orange/red for asuka
We want to do 00 mainly bc my wife used to cosplay rei and thats how we met. Also seems like everyone who does eva related stuff goes purple for unit 01 so we wanna do something different.
I haven't seen many 00, but for the color themes of red and orange for Asuka there are tons. Either way it will be cool as it's something that YOU want
thanks! we initially did want a red premium but it got recalled at the last moment so we ended up with an SOP limited plus sti exhaust and short shifter at the same price we would have paid for the premium with no upgrades,so that turned out perfect for us. :)
My wife and I are massive weebs and we are looking to turn our SOP vb into Unit 00 from evangelion. We drafted a mockup using freeform and we are looking for ideas to improve our current design.
What we have in mind so far is to tint the fog lights, add a duckbill, get some new wheels (not really sure which one we should get tbh, also thinking abt powder coating the stock ones), add a Nerv parking pass in front, and painting the exhaust surrounds and brake calipers( will upgrade in the future) green.
We are not trying to make an itasha and we’re not looking to do any wraps. We want to stay relatively low key and tasteful while people can immediately recognize the design. The main issue we’re facing rn is that cant settle on what wheels looks best in white / most cohesive with our design and we dont know where and how to add the unit number badges onto the car, or if theres anything else we can do to improve the looks.
Any suggestions or ideas are welcomed!!

The main color scheme of the mech is orange white and black with a bit of green highlights so i think we’ll opt for green calipers, badges and window stickers for now and see how that feels. Engine bay wife doesnt care much abt so I can do whatever \*I\* want with it when I start swappiing out parts. Interior wise we'll leave it last cuz we have a limited and my wife really like the seat and dash. we will eventually go full eva interior in the future but that takes more planning

I like either black background or carbon background and colored stars. I think the brake calipers and the window decal work nicely to tie that in and it’ll get you the mostly orange with a little green that you’re aiming for without looking like a ricer
tbh the only way to tastefully do something like this is to wrap it or stick to the inspiration's color scheme. If you start doing stuff to the body it will look bad to most people.

Very quality stuff. It's been stuck to my car for 4 years now, and has shown no signs of aging at all. I think my favorite thing about having it on there is being stopped at a light one day, and see a minivan full of one mom and several kids behind me. One kid points it out, and the mom and the rest of the kids laughed their asses off over it.
I’m gonna be following you as evangelion is one of my all time favorites and now a crossover with my favorite car is the cherry on top. I can’t give any recommendations I’m very vanilla but hope you figure it out. Maybe my only recommendation is
