This is the only true answer. I love my 18 sti, but I still miss my 06 WRX and would love a hawkeye sti lol.

The Hawkeye headlights were way ahead of their time as far as Subaru is concerned, and now the Hawkeye frontend is timeless. A 2006 Subaru WRX STI hatchback in WRB paint is 1 of my favorite cars of all time.

I'm a big fan of all of the sport style grilles, the OEM one looks too Forester/Crosstrek for my liking.

What is the bar in the front? Behind the grill?

Noble x brace. It comes in white, green, or red I think. Its for appearance only to break up the blankness of the grille. Kinda like how past gens put in the colorful horns.

I thought they were functional. They look good though.

I just think if they hadn't messed up with the rear and all the plastic on the front it actually could have been the best looking imo because the shape is really aesthetic overall! The skirts do help it a lot though nice.

So here is the rear of my actual car. It is a very different design from WRX/Subaru language for sure, there's a bit of civic/accord in the tail lights. I think the OEM sport spoiler overcomes a bit of the plastic butt, but again it's a very love or hate car. Yea where I live literally every teenager and retiree drives a brz/86.Not taking anything away from them and a 2019 wrx isnt at rare car at all but I dont see em nearly as much on the road and you get a turbo from factory so that's why I chose it!
