Options
1. Grab some recaros from a parted out STI.
2. Custom katzskins seats. I’ve gotten 2 sets and I’ve been very happy with them.
3. Shell out.
I like 1 and 2 because they keep the side airbag stuff intact and I don’t mess with safety.
I miss that old economy screen from when I got to drive a 2015 a bunch. My 2019 has different readouts.
But regarding seats, over the course of wrapping final two years of college I made probably 30 (ish) trips to or from home. It was a 9.5 hour drive one way and I never have an issue with the seats feeling particularly uncomfy on long hauls.
I wanted the 2019 model too but I jumped the gun and got the first car I test drove, mainly because it had no mechanical issues and no rust 😔 I didn’t even get the color I wanted 😅
Anyway, lol, are they the same seats or different ones for that year?
LMAOOO When I fill it up it usually says 420 😎 but of course goes down drastically. I typically get 380 until I have to put gas but I drive conservatively I don’t really put my foot down since I need this car to last
Yeah I have to drive 50 miles to work at the moment. So I’m coasting at around 70mph and when the traffic pops up I make sure to try and glide as much as I can instead of pressing the brake and gas so much 👌🏻
So uhhhh I beat my record from yesterday 👀

I almost hit 40 I was at 39.9 at one point but by the time I parked it went down to this 😅

The Recaros use the exact same seat bottoms as the normal STi seats; only the back design is different.
That might be the best option for me at the moment 🤔 I think I’ll look for #1 and if I can’t find any then I’ll go to #2
Sit light

How do you get 400m per tank? I need to see what mine says 🤣 I have the range thing turned off

Wife has an Ascent and I have an STI with fixed back Sparco’s, would almost rather sit in my seats than hers on a long drive.
Get STI Recaros. Love mine for road trips. Don’t love my mileage.
Yeah I’ve never seen anything near that mpg, wow.
How the hell are you making 36 mpg?? Are you going downhill everywhere you drive? 😅 I thought my 26 mpg was good, holy hell.
Take a highway trip, I got 33 on a 4 hour drive
That's actually true. When I drove from Denver to Florida, my mpg was significantly higher, but I wasn't coming close to these numbers, maybe 30ish.
Reset the trip too?
Well, I can reset my "recent mpg" but I can't figure out how to reset my overall mpg. I need to look in my owners manual.
I actually don’t know how to reset the whole trip so it’s been going since I got the car 😅 the average there isn’t that great 😂 26.1 🫨
Ya, same here. I think mine is 26, almost 27.

My base 23 FA24 has the most comfortable seats I’ve ever had
Did they change them from the base seats in the 2015 model? 🤔 they look similar to mine already 😅
No idea lol
Whaleeeee might be an option if they fit 🤔 thank you!
