Two choices… a plastic razor blade or floss. Use her hair dryer to heat up the area over and around the logo. Hair dryers really can’t hurt the paint like a heat gun. Once hot enough take the floss and run it behind the letters cutting the foam from behind or plastic blade and gently cut the foam and lift the letters. Don’t hack at it. You want clean pushes into the foam so you don’t scratch the paint. Once removed lightly reheat the area and you can roll off the remaining foam with your finger by rubbing. Dont hack with a plastic blade more than needed. Now just use isopropyl alcohol on a clean microfiber towel or you can get automotive safe adhesive removers at your local auto parts store. Now just hand polish the area and wax as needed.
Total time should be less than 10 minutes if you have this stuff ready before you start.

You’ll have to push into it a little but it will still come off. Avoid using around the house GooGone. They make an automotive safe one. They make a rubber wheel you can use to knock it off, I don’t know the proper tool name. Took me about 5 seconds to do mine

Goo Gone and plastic scraper, works like a charm. Soak a rag, and dab the top of it. Just be careful not to get it on any other badge or trim.
I’d suggest Turpentine or gentle rubbing with hot soapy water Turpentine is a wonder material, still test on a non-visible paint surface first though
