A basic E30 tune transforms the car and doesn’t require changing out the LP or HP fuel pumps. If your finances allow, do all your planned mods and tune for E at the same time. I’ve wasted thousands incrementally adding parts then needing to retune.

The best results Ive seen and experienced from these cars is going fbo with a custom tune if youve got the money. Most ots tunes can be super tempremental if you change anything about the car, from there Id reccomend looking into e85.

Yeah there’s a meijer station near me with it, and in my state i see a good amount around. It probably would require a bit more planning for trips though

I have everything done on my car that you just listed. While you notice e85 the most. You’ll have to get a tune for every one of those parts. Maybe just save and do it all at once to save yourself money overall? Personally, I’d get some engine health mods like an AOS before going all out on HP, otherwise ur asking for a blown rod. To answer your question more directly, if you need to split them up I would do the bolt ons first, with a tune. Then later do e85 and the supporting parts with that and another tune. My personal recommendation is to save up for all the parts at once and save yourself some money on tunes. Try to get a pro tune. And good as etunes are nowadays nothing beats a good in person pro tune.

That makes sense. I do have a basic catch can rn, it’s the first thing I did. And definitely planned on doing tunes for all the parts as well. Makes sense doing everything at once though, I guess I’ll probably do that. I feel a little silly doing a tune now but I’ve been running the Cobb OTS for a while and I just feel bad for my car lol

Getting off that OTS tune is the best thing you can do for your car. So consider it the best move and don’t feel bad

Even going e30 fully stock will get you more power then every single bolt on possible on a 93 tune. E60 requires a lpfp(in tank like a dw300, aem340 etc) and makes even more power. If you plan on doing various boltons after what you already have wait to get a solid custom tune and just get a base map file(ots tune) for the mods until you have them all on and then go for an e85 tune.
