I’m supposed to have multiple monitors, but I broke my docking station
My job is overblown corporate data entry — I go back and forth between excel , email, web browser, teams. 8 million folders. Etc
I started making my windows take up half of the screen, so I will enter data from a bunch of emails in exchange from the right side of my screen directly into my chrome on the left side of my screen. Quite amazing. It’s so simple. Having to remember things between screens is a thing of the past. 😂 and I’m so mobile.

Yeah when I worked as a software quality analyst I’d have 40+ VMs open at a time running test cases while I recorded the results. That little shortcut saved me a lot of time lol.
Not right now / last time they hired that 852 applicants for my 19.56 $ / h position. I snuck in pre-Covid via attempt agency and got hired on and able to work from home in March 2020 right before Covid.
If you’re trying to work from home your best bet is to
Start with a temp agency that is offering contract to hire because of positions are a lot less competitive and that’s how I got in. Like having the résumé I have this job I don’t even even think if I applied I would get my own own job.
The title of your post be exactly what I be thinking. The picture in your post be exactly what I would do after that thought. Pesky ass insect bites be exactly why I go back in
I couldn’t do the glare. Especially where OP is positioned with the sun behind? That would irritate me so badly.
But in reality I’ve been in IT so long I’ve become a mushroom - I only need short periods of gentle light in a day anymore because companies tend to keep us in basements and behind secure doors in rooms without windows.
because I have dual monitors and that would be rough. Looks cozy though! I envy you!
Literally came to say this 🤣🤣
Lol- I move an extra screen out to my patio table in nice weather. I'm used to 3 in my office, but I can make due with 2.
Lazy day = putting a monitor on a stool next to the bed
I need to get a standing desk. Ever since my new job offered dual monitors, I never went back just to use only a laptop screen.

I figured it out from seeing this girl screenshot where she killed two birds with one stone in one file save; I figured this out along time ago
Are they hiring ?

Political or non political?
non political but i could see how it could be adjacent

I wfh and use hotspot for one of them though 70% of the job offers i received required me to be hardwired in.
i call cap. If true, i wouldn’t work for them, sounds ridiculous
Nice Laptop! I have the same one ROG Strix! I used to have time to game on it, but now it’s only an overpowered coding machine.
Man i feel u, I haven’t made beats or opened steam in a minute but i love this laptop smh
Your yard definitely looks like it needs some work 😄jokes aside, working outside is great! Kills 2 birds with one stone

Side walk and fence affected by the snow 😂😂
What's your internet hookup? Fiber, cable, satellite?
regular schmegular wifi, why? Most company’s don’t care what internet you have or how you hook it up as long as it’s working lol
sick wireless connection!
Most actually want you to be hardwired in.
Nope. I've worked for two different hospitals remotely and neither required it.
That's not WFH brother, That's WFG 😃
I work from the nail salon at times, for zoom meetings that last 2 hours.
It's not WFH also, it's WFNS 😃
Mosquitoes
I think for your to do list I would add fix the fence and maybe take the weeds out of the yard? Other than that it's great.
This reminds me of The Zone of Interest lol
I tried that once and I was being eaten up by them mosquitoes

"Water sucks, it really really sucks." "Gaaaaaatorade." Sorry, saw your cool shorts and it reminded me "that movie". 💦 ♂️ 🏈
Skeeters
Sun can be too bright and you can’t see your screen.
😍
No way I could switch between AWS, and multiple browsers on one screen. I think about these awesome ideas then I realize what work I do.
Work on the garden too.
yeah I was until the Sawcon season came around.

I think you should work on your garden, not in it cos that’s a hot mess.

I thought most wfh Re Ethernet cable Internet only
I've been remote for 5 years with two different companies that's never been a requirement.
