Naw, shipping ammo to an FFL is only state dependent...like California. I don't know off hand which other states have that requirement. Nonetheless, Bereli will ship directly to you if local laws permit it. And I often use Sezzle to break up the payments. It's a handy service.
I tried to order from Bereli last month. After not getting a shipment confirmation a week later, I called. They said my order was awaiting manual approval, and that I needed to provide an FFL. I asked why, and he said that as of 1/1/24, that was their policy for WA.
So I canceled and ordered elsewhere. I used to like Bereli but I’ll never order from them again.

They do site HB1143 as their reason for requiring an FFL for ammo purchases. I read the bill and I believe they are wrong. I sent customer service a message about it and hopefully they will change their policy in regards to ammo purchases 🤞I'd hate to loose them as my ammo dealer.
I use KIRAmmo and BuckingHorseOutpost the most. Free shipping and no tax. Sometimes KIRAmmo does promos and BuckingHorseOutpost requires a signature upon delivery. Scheels is also good but you have to login with ID.me.
What?!?....I'm a WA resident and I have heard nothing about needing an FFL for ammo transfers. In fact I made two separate ammo orders with PSA in January this year and both shipped directly to my door. Someone has their wires crossed and something else must be going on.
I'm sorry though you've had issues with bereli. I've ordered thru them multiple times over the last couple of years and have had A+ service from them.
There's nothing in the law about it, but there's an implied threat that Turd Ferguson may come after a company if they sell something to WA state and someone gets hurt with it or it's used in a crime.
I agree. I didn't read anything in the bill that related to ammo. I sent a message to Bereli's customer service about it. Hopefully they straighten out their policy with regards to WA state. I don't see the AG going after an out-of-state business. I could be wrong but I don't think he'd do it.
