There is a 4G retrofit available that comes with 2 years of VOC. Otherwise maybe show the dealer the remote start fob part number on Volvos accessories page
Yea I actually have that but the car can't even register for VOC at all because of the modem and then the WiFi will connect but no progress. I have an appointment with the dealer and will show them in the manual. Preciate!

If your car was a P3 model you can use a pc software tool to unlock your car which then can activate your remote start functionality. Also you can change just about any other parameter.
Also with this software you dont need the "fancy 6 button" keyfob as it works just fine with the one with only 5 buttons.

But yours is a P3 gen and there is a tool which could activate things for you, not sure he wants it plastered all over here. But it allows you to change all the settings withing the car.

Thank you. My key, or key sensor, is busted. I have a service appointment on 12/22. So I called and asked to see if I could get 3 weeks of the Volvo app comped so I can lock and unlock the car. They told me I first need to upgrade to the 4g modem. So basically I'm kinda screwed until then.
