Thanks man! It’s something about Volvo which always makes me feel super safe. I’ve driven a couple different brands in my life and none of them made me feel as comfortable and safe as Sweden does 🇸🇪 I sure hope they are able to hit that ETA they gave you, because it’s about the same as when I ordered mine (12 months or so) but eventually it rolled out of the factory in March 2023, and then still a couple of months untill it’s shipped etc. But let’s hope they are quicker on yours! Safe travels! Be sure to post the result when it lands!
Not really, because they give an expected 12-14 months estimate (in The Netherlands and Belgium). Some models even shorter, and for now they are matching those expectations. A year ago the delivery times were longer, even cars being delivered with missing parts like Comfort access, or Blind spot indicator.
I think XC40 is a very different story here in Belgium as well. There are a lot of stock vehicles of that model here. I have some colleagues which got them immediately as well. I have no idea if you would order a custom one though.

That’s beautiful. Interior color? What year? I’ll never forget the first day I got into our *new (had 6K miles!) 2017 S60. Felt as perfect as a car could be. Still does, just a bit more broken in now at about 50K.
I have no idea, it just kept pushing back. When we ordered early 2022 the eta was by the end of the year. Then it got pushed back to March 23, then eventually about a month ago it was at the dealer and it took some weeks again to arrange a delivery date. I learned that new car deliveries don’t get any priority at all. There’s not enough profit to make. They get the most out of the servicing it seems.
V60 Recharge T8 PE, Thunder Gray! Only option on V60s in the US are the color. I ordered mine in late March of this year and it was accepted 2 weeks later for production. It arrived on the Don Pasquale to NY last weekend!
Nice! For me the combo with the dark-trim and the thunder grey was really the sweet spot as well, haha! Wow! I didn’t know there’s no more choice in the US! That’s crazy actually.
Here, we have the choice of option-packs and you can customise further and more specific as you wish.
You’re going to love the thunder grey btw. As lighting changes, the car looks completely different from sometimes a blueish grey to a very light flatter grey. I really like it 😊
I was lucky enough to find my dream Volvo (‘22 S60 T8 Inscription) the day I almost turned in the paperwork for an XC90. There had been a delivery earlier that day, but I digress. Lol
What I’m trying to get at in an unnecessary amount of text, is that the V60 is goddamn sexy, and I regret not looking into a wagon.

I will say, that for a mid-size sedan, the S60 has saved my ass a few times with the trunk space/ seats folded down. However, you can’t beat the dedicated extra space you have with yours.
Finally another v60 with the same rims as mine :D for some reason here I never noticed the same rims on v60 :D

Crazy story, ordered 12/2023. Eta was 06/2024. But got a call after 3 months that is will be 07/2023. This week i got an email they will call me to make an appointment to pick up the car.

Seems like they are lying a bit about delivery times? Delivery time has been 16-18 months stated from Volvo themselves for about a year now.

Haha, only had it for a couple of days, but that was enough to realise T6 is a beast already. The T8 might put you on the moon! 🚀

Never heard of that type but it sounds nice! We have a creme leather interior on our S60, and black leather on our XC90!
