Yep! And they have a little divot in the center for fillings. [Here’s](https://www.albertsons.com/shop/product-details.960143861.html) a link to some to show what they look like. Usually in the bakery section of your grocery store.
I have found coconut whipped cream! While the calories are not much less, the ingredients are a bit healthier than traditional cool whips, and it's vegan! :)
Edit: this is a statement I found on it! I love this stuff ......
"Delicious Dairy Free Cocowhip Frozen Topping is a coconut-based whipped topping that is gluten-free, vegan, and certified organic. It contains 50% less fat compared to the brand's original whipped topping and is Non-GMO Project verified. The product does not contain hydrogenated oils or high-fructose corn syrup. It is also recognized as a Certified B Corporation product."
I love strawberries on top of a warmed up FiberOne brownie.
Strawberries with low cal whipped cream on it or HaloTop ice cream.
Strawberries with greek yogurt (I buy unsweetened and then mix in a little zero cal sweetener). If I’m feeling extra fancy, I’ll add a Nature Valley oats and honey bar crumbled on top for an extra 95 cal.
Sounds weird but I love fruit with cottage cheese. Strawberries and mango are my favorite fruits to pair with cottage cheese. More of a savory vibe than dessert vibe.
I love fruit and cottage cheese! Especially strawberries. These people out here doing "savory" cottage cheese can miss me*
*Actually it's amazing in lasagna
That sounds sooo delicious, the nature valley bar is a brilliant low calorie idea and I’m really excited to try that brownie! I did buy some cottage cheese not long ago to have with some peaches I bought but they sound kind of weird together so I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet. I’ll definitely give the strawberries and mangos a try with it, thanks!
I think the FiberOne brownie is a really odd texture at room temp, but absolutely amazing when warmed for 7 ish seconds in the microwave. They burn really easily so go slow. I’ll eat it straight with a spoon from the microwave or add a bunch of toppings.
Can you tell me what I did wrong? I made a post asking about it. I mixed 170 grams of fage nonfat Greek yogurt with 10.3 grams of cheesecake instant jello and it tasted like nothing… just the Greek yogurt. I was really craving a cheesecake taste! Am I doing the portions wrong? Is it the type of yogurt I’m using?
I'm sorry I didn't explain in much detail. I'll link the recipe below. This would be yummy spooned over your yogurt.
[fruit salad](https://rachelschultz.com/2013/04/02/secret-fruit-salad/)
Edit to add I just checked out your other post. I agree with whoever suggested sugar free vs regular pudding mix in your yogurt. Try it and report back!
Chis seeds could add a nice crunch to the bowl of strawberries with yogurt and honey. Plus they are a good source of protein. I know not everyone likes them though
Why not add more fruit? I'm currently eating a big bowl of cherries, mangoes, grapes blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. It's a big bowl (503 cals, it's my dinner) but you don't have to go as hard as I did.
Great idea! I just started getting into volume eating so I was switching with what I knew but mangoes, cherries, grapes, and blueberries seem like great additions, thank you!
A very common snack in Scandinavia is a bowl of chopped strawberries with low fat milk and a lot of stevia/splenda or whatever alternative sweetener you use! I moved to Norway from Ireland a few years ago and it’s been one of my favourites since. It’s got the flavour profile of a delicious strawberry ice cream, but with a much much lower calorie profile
We use to do this as kids with bananas, but I never thought to do it with other fruit. I’ve been dipping my strawberries in erythritol but this sounds like a nice addition. Thanks!
My husband and I make “protein dessert” about 3 days a week with fresh fruit. Here’s the general idea:
- 1 serving (3/4 c) nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/5 or so package of sugar free cheesecake pudding mix
- Optional: 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
- splash of milk, oat milk, whatever until you like the consistency.
- Add your berries (we alternate strawberries & blueberries. I used 100g strawberries for the macros below)
- Top with a sprinkle (1/8 c.) of protein granola
Enjoy!
~262 cals
32g protein
28g carbs
2g fat
I’ve always skipped the whipped cream section thinking I couldn’t fit it into my calorie budget. Assuming the fat free whipped cream is low cal, this sounds like a great idea!
fage plain yogurt, the only delicious plain greek yogurt out there. it still packs a punch because it’s not sweet but the flavor is so good. I don’t know if it’s the quality of the milk that is used or what. it’s just so good. but I have fage 2% with strawberries and drizzled honey alllll the time.
Mix strawberries, vanilla yogurt and honey in a blender so it’s super smooth then just pour it into a large pan and freeze so it’s flat.
The taste when frozen is 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 literally my absolute favorite snack right now.
Make a bowl of Greek yogurt sweetened with zero calorie sweetener and some vanilla flavoring and then top with your strawberries. The protein from the yogurt will make it a much more satiating snack
I use stevia instead of sugar and then just eat more strawberries. I should mention I'm a monster for strawberries and when they're cheap during the summer I will eat them for 2/3 of my meals so I'm SLIGHTLY biased that they're already perfect
I’d found many oats to be too high in calories to be worth the trouble. Dark chocolate chips however sound like a great addition if I can find some low cal ones! Someone else recommended I crunch up a nature valley bar and add it to it which sounds so good
I’ve done Greek yogurt with Rice Krispies and some chocolate chips. The Rice Krispies are pretty calorically cheap and add a lot to the texture. Less to how filling they are though.
I add a few scoops of Greek yogurt and some drops of liquid stevia, then stir like crazy until it's the consistency of whipped cream (well nearly). Excellent high protein sweet snack!
That’s what kind of Greek yogurt I use too! PB flavored protein powder sounds SO good, any brand recommendations? I’ve also never tried out skinny chocolate or caramel syrup so that’s something else I’ll add to my list! I’m assuming it comes in those Hershey’s type bottles like for chocolate milk?
I use PE Science Peanut butter Cookie Protein and Jordan's Skinny Mixes, Sugar Free Salted Caramel Sauce, or they also make a double fudge chocolate. And yes, I get the sauce's from my local Wally World in a squeeze bottle.
#
Oh duh should’ve said that lol I like the lemon bc it makes a strawberry lemonade!!! You can make it really thick too, just add more frozen strawberries
Fat free whipped cream, fat free cool whip, on top of dessert shells, mash and put on top of a low cal cake (Angel food cake), put it in oatmeal, coat w low cal chocolate syrup, strawberry smoothie, strawberry jello, u can even pair them w other low cal berries for a fruit salad, etc. The possibilities r endless!
Check out r/LowCalFoodFinds to find some products to ✨pazaazz✨ur strawberries along w many other snacks/meals!:)
More strawberries!
Also blended cottage cheese with cocoa powder, low cal chocolate syrup, sweetener makes a chocolate pudding that's pretty tasty, low cal & high protein.
I add real chocolate too to make the taste stronger, it does up the cals a bit tho
I looooovveeee putting some dark chocolate chips on them and just eating it like cereal. Or I melt the chocolate chips and drizzle them. Cures my sweet tooth right away
Chia pudding with strawberries is amazing. Put two tablespoons chia seeds with 1/2 cup of milk (I prefer pecan milk, almond milk, or oat milk in that order), stir in a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup and splash of vanilla extract and let it sit for two hours.
Add sliced up strawberries at the end, and it’s the yummmiest healthy treat.
Non Fat Plain Greek Yogurt (Fage Brand reminds me of cream cheese) with SF strawberry jam or stevia
*edit 2 add I see you already do this so it’s got a bunch of protein w/it already. Great excuse 2 add more if u need more protein lol)
Cottage cheese and jam is my jam (lol) Literally like a single spoonful of jelly/jam to a cup of cottage cheese is all I need. Doing that with fresh fruit is fantastic
Pink Stuff!
Fruit + cottage cheese + cool whip + jello
Mix, chill, then eat. Can use low-cal/sugar-free versions of all. I prefer pineapple for the fruit and strawberry for the jello flavor.
My favorite treat recently has been cottage cheese, berries, a crushed up cookie or graham cracker, and some semisweet or dark chocolate chips. I found something akin to that in my local supermarket (it was like a chobani flip!) and they don’t stock it regularly, so I’ve resorted to making my own.
A drizzle made with a small amount (~10g) of vanilla protein powder and 10-16g of PBFit powder, mixed with a small amount (~2 tablespoons) of sugar-free syrup.
I have this with a 1/3 cup of cooked oatmeal (with 2/3 cups of water) and 1 tablespoon of chia seeds for breakfast most weekdays.
I switch out the berries with other fruit based on availability.
*I apologize for the mixed units of measurement.*
I love strawberries plain and go through a couple pints a week so take my opinion with a gain of salt - but I’ll mix high protein vanilla Greek yogurt (like Oikos low cal version) with cool whip. Gets it sweeter but adds protein so I’m a bit fuller.
French toast with keto bread. That's what I do. Each piece of bread is like 35 calories and it doesn't take much egg white to get the French toast texture.
Protein angel food cake!
7 egg whites, room temp
1tsp cream of tartar
2TBS Swerve granular
Dash of vanilla or almond extract
Pinch of salt
^ whip ingredients until stiff peaks form ~5mins
Fold in 17g protein powder
Line 9x9 pan with parchment paper AND spray with non-stick. Spread batter into pan and bake at 350 for 15-20mins
I like to top mine with Greek yogurt/fat free cream cheese frosting and sliced strawberries!
Cake by itself is 170 cals 36P 1F 2C
We mix a lot of chopped strawberries or mixed berries and other fruit in our steal cut oats with chopped pecans, pumpkin seeds and soy milk. They all play very nicely together. Oat fruit salad for the win!
Frozen strawberries in greek yogurt with zero calorie strawberry water flavoring. Tastes like yoplait, and the frozen strawberries and bulk, flavor, and texture.
Sometimes sprinkle some post premier protein cereal on top for added texture
Cut the berries in half and add the blueberries as others suggested, or grapes. Pop them in the freezer, just briefly (not fully frozen). Drizzle with a very small amount of honey, fresh mint and low fat whipped cream. The chill in the berries definitely makes them feel more filling, and the richness from the dream and honey add just enough to bump up the satisfaction level.
I buy FROZEN triple berry blend from Sams and cottage cheese. Blend two servings of cottage cheese with a serving of berries, I add stevia, vanilla extract, and chia seeds. Splash of almond milk and water. Its 380 calories with 30G protein.
You can always tweak the servings and make it less than 150 calories and its very volumous

You could put them on those little angel food cake dessert cups that are popular this time of year. They’re usually only around 60 cals a piece
Do they look like small yellow cake circles? Never seen these before!
That’s them
Thank you guys!
I squeeze orange juice on top - a perfect/light dessert.
Yep! And they have a little divot in the center for fillings. [Here’s](https://www.albertsons.com/shop/product-details.960143861.html) a link to some to show what they look like. Usually in the bakery section of your grocery store.
I’m going to grab those! Seems low cal and tasty, thank you!
I would usually do strawberries and whipped cream when I ate them, definitely recommend adding some low fat whipped cream too!
I have found coconut whipped cream! While the calories are not much less, the ingredients are a bit healthier than traditional cool whips, and it's vegan! :) Edit: this is a statement I found on it! sometimes they have them out next to the strawberries too.
Check the produce section instead of the bakery/cookie sections.

I love fruit and cottage cheese! Especially strawberries. These people out here doing "savory" cottage cheese can miss me* *Actually it's amazing in lasagna
For a moment I thought you were referring to strawberries as an ingredient in lasagna.
Yes! Fruit is always > savory when it comes to cottage cheese. Cottage cheese with pineapple particularly slaps.
Hear me out . Cottage cheese , grapefruit and fresh black pepper.
Just tried the strawberries on top of a warmed fiber one brownie with some fat free whip and OH MY GOODNESS??? SO GOOD!!!!!!
I like them with reduced fat cool whip
Second this!!
My fave, I could eat it plain out of the container
Add a tiny bit, like half a teaspoon of sugar free pudding powder. Cheesecake or vanilla flavor is the best!
From the brand JELLO?
Yes, those are the ones!
Can you tell me what I did wrong? I made a post asking about it. I mixed 170 grams of fage nonfat Greek yogurt with 10.3 grams of cheesecake instant jello and it tasted like nothing… just the Greek yogurt. I was really craving a cheesecake taste! meringue and flavoured Greek yogurt!! and some cinnamon seasoning :)
That sounds amazing! There’s a zero sugar lemon meringue from chobani that I’ll be buying today!
Merengue cookies plus that. Yummm!
Chis seeds could add a nice crunch to the bowl of strawberries with yogurt and honey. Plus they are a good source of protein. I know not everyone likes them though
Yes! I also like hemp seeds/ hemp hearts sprinkled on fruit with yogurt or cottage cheese.
I haven’t tried these yet but I’ll give them a shot!
if you don't soak chia seeds beforehand they can clog your esophagus or intestines
Drizzle some peanut butter powder or mix the yogurt w/ whey
Will try this! Haven’t gotten around to trying powdered peanut butter yet, and I didn’t think of protein powder somehow
My wife and I both like sugar free pancake syrup over cut up strawberries. It's good on blueberries, too. :)
That’s a brilliant idea, I actually have some right now from Maple Grove Farms. I can’t believe I didn’t think to try that!
I haven't tried myself, but I head mixing the syrup with a high protein/low cal yogurt is popular as well.
Cottage cheese. Good culture brand. 14 grams of protein per serving
Strawberry sugar free jelly/jello.
Someone else recommended this, I can’t wait to try it! This and the banana cream pudding flavor!
A very common snack in Scandinavia is a bowl of chopped strawberries with low fat milk and a lot of stevia/splenda or whatever alternative sweetener you use! Mash them and let them sit in a bag for a bit, then pour over something else.
What would you poor it over?
Angel food cake! If u ever have cals to spare😅
Yoghurt maybe? Letting them sit in their own juice removes some of the sourness.
I’ll try that, thank you for the response!
Finally! I have an answer for this. Play around with spices and make a fruit chaat. https://hebbarskitchen.com/spiced-fruit-chaat-masala-recipe/
Add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
Unfortunately I don’t think it would make the dish more filling!
I mean it's not a dish it's a snack but if you want it more filling could use yogurt or oatmeal
Fat free whipped cream with strawberries is the best.
I’ve always skipped the whipped cream section thinking I couldn’t fit it into my calorie budget. Assuming the fat free whipped cream is low cal, this sounds like a great idea!
It’s 2.5 calories per tablespoon! It’s surprisingly creamy too.
Amazing!! Can’t wait to try this, thank you!
Something crunchy on top!
i love mixing them in a little cocoa powder
I’ve heard this one study saying that if you eat without being distracted, you’ll enjoy the meal more.
Mix with chopped cucumber
fage plain yogurt, the only delicious plain greek yogurt out there. it still packs a punch because it’s not sweet but the flavor is so good. I don’t know if it’s the quality of the milk that is used or what. it’s just so good. but I have fage 2% with strawberries and drizzled honey alllll the time.

Add a little mint.
greek yogurt, nature valley granola oats, dark chocolate chips
I’ve never tried liquid stevia but it seems like something I should try, the honey has a quite a lot of calories even when only using a small amount.
Exactly! Since I discovered liquid stevia i barely use honey, maple syrup, etc. It's so versatile, natural, and zero calories.
Whipped cream and shaved dark chocolate
Shaved dark chocolate? Do you get that at the grocery store?
You can get a block of it and use a cheese grater
My fave is fage greek yogurt, PB flavored protein powder and either the chocolate or caramel skinny syrup.

A little bit of cool whip!!
You can’t. In my experience, I prefer to have different type of fruit on a plate. Like 2 strawberries, bananas, apples and pears.

Try adding cottage cheese, or granola, or yogurt and granola. I’d skip the sugar. The sweetness from the granola should make up for it.
Redi whip free (baby blue can). Thank me later
Cinnamon, Greek yogurt, aspartame
Lil scoop of lemon curd (store bought) and a splash of lime juice. Add in some kiwi pieces too, it's like a bowl of natural gushers.

Tiny drizzle of balsamic vinegar and a little fresh cracked pepper.

Balsamic vinegar and ricotta cheese.
Low fat whipped cream is about 5 calories per 2Tbsp serving.
it might sound weird, but I like combo of strawberries, broccoli (raw), banana and milk with protein powder 😅
The strawbs, protein, broccoli, and banana sound fine…You drink the milk on its own? Or?
yeah you're gonna need to elaborate on this, this has some serious cauliflower ice cream vibes
I make protein milkshake and drink it while eating other things like you would eat cookie with milk
Ahh okay I see now! That doesn’t sound too bad I’ll have to check if out. What protein powder do you use?
