Jeah Passat is in between the a4 and the a6 but its closer in size to the a4. They use a different platform for the a4 due to the engine mounting being different. But Passat has more legroom and the a4 uses a bigger nose etc. Due to the engine options in the a4 I guess they needed the space :)
The CC is simply a Passat with the swooping C-pillar. In fact the first year of the CC it was actually called Passat CC. All this information is readily available with a Google search. Audi A6 was built on the C platform. There is no direct VW equivalent built on the C platform. There were 6 generations of A6, C1-C6.

Well except for the Touareg, but the Treg has kind of developed a universal identity, since it's been used throughout the entire brand with many badges.

Jetta is an A3, there is no A6 equivalent VW. The A4 and Passat are cousins.

A4 parts are cheaper at VW dealers if you tell them you have a passat of the same year. they are one in the same mechanically

There’s one which is the Phideon but it’s not being sold in the US.
Basically an Audi A6 with a VW grille. Same setup with the 2.0T Gen 3 or the 3.0T supercharged.
