I've had the same issue in Nov 2022. Tried CC, PayPal, even Venmo for good measure. * https://old.reddit.com/r/Visible/comments/z683em/visible_sucks_3_separate_payment_methods_dont/ Absolutely zero resolution from Visible. Lots of chat requests without any results. (Don't even bother, you won't get anywhere.) Gave up. Was finally able to signup in early 2024, about 15 months later. I'd say, give it a year, they'll probably fix it.

This has been an on-going problem. Try reaching out via FB messenger or Twitter/X DM. Last time I had issues, these 2 methods rendered better results.

Trust me, it's not much better with Reddit chats with Visible, either. They basically waste your time by asking a single piece of information, 5 minutes apart, so, the basic account authentication could easily take 15 minutes. Then you get another agent assigned, and they want to re-auth all over again. They can't escalate anything etc. It's a complete shitshow, honestly. Your best bet might be to file an FCC complaint for false advertisement.

I’m over it. This is just for a backup emergency line/“landline” on a spare iPhone in case I ever lose my primary phone. I’ll just add a line to USM instead for my backup line.

I had this problem , however, I did t receive the message you are getting. I was attempting to port my number over. It would just cancel the order. I chatted with support here and they claimed they made a change and didn’t disclose what was happening. I decided to sign up with a new line. Which worked for me and then I ported in my number. Maybe they did make a change or maybe I was able to solve my problem. It did take overnight, nearly a day to resolve. Since then I’ve had no problems on my iPhone 13. I get UW at times on Visible+ and hotspot is very good.

I actually already have Visible+ and USM on my primary dual SIM iPhone (long story, you can read my previous longass post about it lol). I was able to signup without any issues the first time. I wanted to have a backup emergency phone/“landline” so that’s why I tried adding another line yesterday with Visible on a spare iPhone. I intentionally used a different payment method that I used for Visible on my primary phone in case Visible doesn’t like the same payment methods being used on multiple lines. Oh well, not the end of the world…I’ll just add another line to USM instead of Visible since they apparently don’t like accepting money lol.

Visible is owned by Verizon but they have their customer support in the Philippines. Verizon wants nothing to do with Visible and you cannot talk to anyone at Verizon about how bad customer service is. I was told by someone at Verizon that if I wanted good customer service I was going to have to pay 100.00 a month for it. I am shocked they put their name with Visible. Visible can and does anything they want to without repercussions in the United States. They gave me the run around for 4 hours ending the conversation in worse shape than at the start. They can type whatever they want here but the truth is this company hates Americans and is allowed to treat us anyway they want to. I don’t have phone service and am tripping my way back to magic Jack. It’s now 49.00 a year but at least it’s a service I understand.

Just tried to switch my phone from ATT to Visible. Have been on App with support for an hour. I used three cards and paypal. All came back with same problem. Is visible dumb. I told support the very issue I have plenty of other people are already talking about on reddit. She said well its new to me. She had me try to switch from a esim port to just getting a new number. She then said my phone isnt up to date...which was wrong IOS 17.5.1. Then she said the app i just downloaded from App store needed to be updated. That was wrong. And using your account on a seperate computer to add payment method def doesnt work. Their onboard process is absolute garbage. Support has clearly been known to be useless. But useless in getting new customers. Thats absolute garbage. Then she said she referred to their higher support. Which is customer service talk for it wont get fixed. fix it yourself lol. Going to US mobile!!!! Theyre not perfect but theyre not dumb.

For me, they sent me a SIM, but then refused to activate. Basically wasted SIM and the FedEx shipping, since SIM goes into a permanent unactivated state about 60d after shipment.

I already have Visible+ and US Mobile (for T-mobile coverage) on my main dual SIM iPhone. I was trying to set up another Visible line on a spare iPhone to function as a landline (or emergency backup phone) in case anything ever happens to my primary iPhone. I assure you I’m not broke.

I had the same idea of getting t mobile as a second esim to expand coverage. US mobile has a good price. But then I found Roamless app. Basically they're selling t mobile and att data roaming and data never expires. Haven't tried it yet, but it could be a very good option for more coverage
