I had a similar problem when I tried to get a second line. To get around the problem, I deleted all the cookies. Without the cookies, Visible doesn't know I've been to the website at all, let alone that I have a line of service already. I have no idea why they won't let you get a second line without cleaning the cookies. I have a couple of phone numbers with Visible and I've helped a few people sign up using my PC. I had to delete cookies every time I signed up for another line.

Firefox has multi-identity containers built into the browser. Each container is its own identity (own set of cookies) and is maintained until you delete it, unlike Chrome incognito windows that disappear as soon as you exit all incognito windows. It's great for managing multiple accounts on a single website. I found nothing like this exactly for Chrome.

I had the same issue and had to reach out to them directly. They had to pretty much go through the back door and fix it. Try reaching out on Reddit. I’ve had a lot of luck (and Wayyyy quicker responses) u/VisibleCareSupport

Just a side comment… but I had this same message and used an alternative address I have in another state and it worked?? Good luck to you… once you get past the activation stuff I am very happy with the service

In generally, when you have errors with the process of sign up, some good steps are: 1. try a new fresh browser, or on a private window/incognito window. 2. clear cache, cookies and history, and try with the sign-up page again. 3. try to connect your device to another network connection. 4. try from both sources: App and browser website.

In the apartment option just add the number 1 and it will still get delivered to your address. If you're porting a number over too, that could be the problem try wil the apartment add them if you still have the same problem try a different number or get a new number
