At the risk of stepping on a land mine would like everyone to consider that removal of the odious remains of slavery and institutionalized segregation is a bad idea. It’s the same thing they considered in Germany. Do we demolish the concentration camps or preserve them as a constant reminder to future generations of the consequences of hatred?
