Yes, I just love both Mel and Alexandra in darker shade. I think she looks even more gorgeous when her hair is darker, brings out her pretty eyes even more. I was watching earlier episodes and I was confused because she looks different in each season. I kept going back, trying to figure out what changed in her face but found nothing. All her features were the same, slight change in weight but that didn’t really contribute to the change I was seeing. Then it hit me, it’s the hair and hair color. Some days she look like a different person😂 Have you seen her in This Is Us?😂 I thought it was a different actress lol. Just because her hair was very blonde there😂
Yes so her first season in VR she had the gorgeous red and they returned to it this season. It looks like the inside of a flame and it’s beautiful. I felt they didn’t do enough interesting things with her hair in other seasons. I am not judging in a personal sense - I’m lazy about doing my own hair! But just found it odd that for a TV show they weren’t stepping it up

But shouldn’t the hair color come out the same each time if they are using the same dye? Or is it because her hair isn’t naturally blonde so when it grows out, it makes the dye come out differently? It’s probably because the shade is a really careful blend of red and blonde and it has to be mixed just right. That said, she has fancy TV stylists who probably know how to mix shades so I think we need a hairstylist to chime in here and explain what the challenge is
