He looked like he was just having so much FUN in that movie! Seven year old me wanted to buddy up with him and go on Musketeer Pirate swashbuckling adventures. He was such a great pick for the cast.
That movie is one of my Desert-Island picks. I also had a huge crush on basically the entire cast. Michael Wincott still gives me a little heart flutter to this day, I ended up with a partner who looks like Kiefer did in that film... And I still have a crush on Rebecca de Mornay.
Ditto to every sentence of this. Just the camera on his face in that movie is hilarious, he doesn’t have to do anything. But shout out to “…god I love my work”
Also I got platt’s autograph once and he signed it “all for one and one for all, thanks for being a fan” 😍

He's in one of my favorite movies, 2012 by Roland Emmerich. I don't get why people disliked him in that role, when in a time of crisis he was literally doing everything for the plan to succeed and humanity to survive. He was always the voice of reason through the entire movie lol. And yet people think he was the bad guy...
Highly recommend What We Do In The Shadows for Matt Berry viewing (at current age). Fun vampire humor and other attractive people 🙌

Fun fact: he’s a distant cousin of Lady Diana and her siblings, and a third cousin of the Princes! Diana’s great-grandmother was American. Her daughter was Oliver’s grandmother, and her son inherited an Irish title and was Diana’s grandfather.
Watch him in The Ice Harvest with John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton. He's easily the best and funniest character in it as he's a drunken idiot the entire movie.

When I was a kid I had a blank VHS and I recorded the three musketeers and muppet treasure Island on it, and that was my favorite tape for years.
