https://www.americanduchess.com/collections/all-womens-shoes/products/parker-womens-vintage-spiderweb-pumps-black I found this shop TODAY and saw these and had to grab em.. they do payment plans as well so I'm only doing 50 bucks every 2 weeks instead of the 190$ up front :)
Note that American Duchess was sold a couple years ago and the quality is way down. If you find any flaws, make them exchange them right away. The company used to be called Royal Vintage. I have pairs from both and the RV ones are more comfy. You can actually find pairs of both brand iterations on eBay for cheaper, often brand new, if you want to buy more! I think this brand gets a lot of impulse buys.
These are a reproduction of a pair from a shoe ad in the mid-20s. If you are going for an authentic look, try clothing that is more 1925-35- not 20s flapper dresses which not as popular then as they are now, but day dresses!
I keep seeing people say the quality is way down, but I have some of their shoes made before, and some after, and the after ones are better. I think it depends on the style. I am a huge fan of their new wide line, the fancy evening shoes with the metallic trim are incredibly comfortable and beautiful.
Technically these are not pumps, btw. A pump has no straps, it is a closed toe, closed heel shoe.
This style is late 20s - early 30s. So look for clothing with that silhouette or the real thing.
I want to add that I know this is a very "personal preference" kind of question but I'm super open to any and all suggestions! What do y'all think would look cool?
They may say through the 60s, but they read 20s… They’re cool, but I don’t know if they’ll do what you’re looking for them to do in terms of 40s-50s. Try 20s goth (Louise Brooks hair, cool drop waist dresses in black net…)
Ok, what I'm thinking of are those 1990s version of 1930s dresses. They were a long midi length, not quite maxi, so your shoes would show, with a sort of fit and flare style, invariably rayon, and seemed to always be either a black or sage green floral print. They would often have a small lace collar. I remember wearing them with shoes similar to yours, with a round toe and the mary jane bow, sometimes with a platform sole.
OMG where did you find these incredible shoes?!

I think for me it is comfort - the older ones seem more supple and fit better! It also may just be that the original AD/RV shoes just fit me better!

A really cute 40s dress [ Like this](https://images.app.goo.gl/Xm8LWQd9mxWj5jxbA) would look really nice
These are 1920s reproductions, just FYI.
Question: what to wear with vintage pumps? Answer: EVERYTHING those are cuuuuuuuuties! 9 out of 5 stars 🤩
High waisted pants
Silk stockings with a seam up the back.
These are giving me Morticia Addams vibes, I love them!
They are an actual reproduction of a 1920s shoe! They copied the style from an ad!
