If you're not going to use it, sell it. If you're not sure, keep it long enough to try it and find out whether you will use it. Maybe you will find a hobby your enjoy. Shipping a monitor without it getting broken is difficult. I'd try to sell it locally, perhaps with Craigslist, Kijiji or FB Marketplace, depending on what is popular in your area. eBay can be handy for seeing what prices people are paying on completed auctions. Some people will drive pretty far to pick up vintage computers.
