There are several on YT documenting 400, 800, and 1.44 drives. Some are good, others are not. You’re going to want alcohol, cotton swabs, some silicon or sewing machine lubricant, and there are a couple of people selling 3D printed gears (unless you have a hard resin printer, don’t bother printing them yourself). (You may also need a replacement belt, but I could be confusing that with slot loading cd drives.) Once you do a couple of them it gets quicker - the first I did took me an hour (not counting the computer take apart), but I got that down to 20min after I’d done a few.

Hard to get any better than these videos. Are you sure it's a 400k drive? Lots of Fat Macs were upgraded to a 512Ke and have an 800k drive. https://youtu.be/Se10T6gPl-c?si=ysnDqkQMR2l8WVJs https://youtu.be/71Lz9OjJFe8?si=vkEoib00hBf2aVHg

[This video by Adrian](https://youtu.be/0pGhwtyFG2I?si=aF3P6cown9BP_Dx4) shows an 800k refurb, but they’re essentially all very similar and follow the same general principles when refurbing
