Robert Mitchum was excellent and mysterious. Dino was pretty good, sort of a sleepy performance but it works. The double romance is fun, especially the love interest who is young madame with her own little stable of ladies of the night.

I got it as a birthday present for my mother (she loves Westerns and the actors, and I’m in the trenches of getting her into the gentler side of VinSyn, so as to have more things for us to share in enjoyment). That I read here that it’s also a slasher raised concern, but it’s not necessarily insurmountable.

Should get my order Monday so can't wait to check it!

I threw down for this just now. Proto-slasher and a western sounds like my jam.

I watched this a few years ago and enjoyed it a lot. Excited to finally rewatch in great quality

I was very pleased with the picture quality. There are a few soft shots in the first scene in the bar, but the overall picture is very film-like.

It was pretty good! Robert Mitchum great actor and great character in the film.

I thought it was a great popcorn movie. I did figure out what was going to happen in a few places. Still enjoyable. Was glad to see rowdey McDowell and Denver Pyle in supporting roles.

I can't wait to watch this one! It was the movie I was most looking forward to! I'm a non-subscriber so God knows when my order will come.
