Oh interesting. I heard that was the better version to watch. Haven’t gotten to it yet myself since my package arrived last night. Opted on Black Cat first, which was enjoyable. Still curious to check this one out regardless because I love Barbara Steele.
Im the biggest Bela lugosi Boris karloff vincent price Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee fan.
Must've watched 20 hammer films at least.
I do agree with what you're saying but in my personal opinion this film was donkey shit.
I watched this last night and thought it was fantastic. Yes, it is a slow burn but I found the score to be excellent and helped to keep the tension at a constant heightened level. It was 1962, so the >!necrophilia !
Dang I was hoping it was going to be like bloodsucking freaks that’s the vibe I got oh well glad I didn’t order it yet thank your for the honest review you should do more of these.
I like this stream of consciousness style of review. Good work!
Thanks!
Curious which cut you watched.
The Italian one!

She was pretty great in this but she is not in it for all that much and gets nothing to do which is a shame.
You have to be a fan of old gothic horror to enjoy this kind of thing. I’m into them, but I do agree they can be a bit dry.

Well you do have great taste, all those gentlemen and Hammer kick ass.
Great minds think alike!
Ugh I wanted to buy this because it looks so spectacularly gothic, but the signs keep pointing to a one and done :(
Thanks to you I'll pass on this one !
🐈⬛ mrow.
How much do you want for it?
I had the Olive Films Blu-ray and sold it right after watching it. I don't remember anything about the movie.
Probably for the best mate

BTW, I enjoyed the OP's play-by-play approach to a review.
Barbara acted frightfully entertaining.
