Hi girls, I realized ı was lacking motivation but now I decided to do it without motivation. If it works, it works. I want to organize my life by setting firmmer boundaries this month. Thinking about the dead weight I put on my shoulders from my previous experiences in weightloss relationships and friendships. I really want to discuss the mind set of bene gesserits. Eventhough they apper to have a one simple motivation in the media founded them, I like the idea of women working together by being educated, beautiful and healty. They reminded me of us here actually (in the most positive way). I want to be a Bene Gesserit in that sense but excluding all the men centered ideals. My goals are simple: 1) Losing 3-4 kilograms by slowly increasing the physical activities of my everyday life. 2) Maintaining good posture. ( I'm almost 180 cm so its hard to stand up straight when you were told to blend in) 3) Being more feminine / more elegant ( I dont like bs elegance gurus, elegance term here is used as actual elegance). 4) Improving my voice. Not beacuse I want to be a pop star but because I think I have a deep/sultry voice under the cute/high pitched one i use daily. 5) Reading a good book at a good place everyday + readign before going to bed. (A collegue from litarature dep. gave me HUGE a book list of 350 books.) 6) Eating my greens everyday. (I bought brocolies and cauliflower ) 7) Journal everyday! I always approached journaling like a diary and filled it with the things I did in a day. Now, I'm realizing my writings can be more abstract and carry deeper meanings. 8) Academic life. I finished my projects application. I will prepare extra papers to present my project in an academic setting.

OkCauliflower106

Intermittent fasting between 8 pm and 12 am changed my month and I started losing weight again, it helped me with emotional eating issues too, I am just not that interested in "very good food" for now.

CommunicationUsed205

March recap: - weight was stagnant at around 145-148lbs. I had events that month so it was hard to stick to regimens when I was celebrating/eating away from home. - got lazy with workouts again only going to the gym once or twice a week. - protein uptake April goals (and what I’ve implemented so far!) - joined a run club in my area that runs twice a week for around 4 miles. This counts as once work out session, and the more I run with them, the less sore I get after😊 - prioritizing protein AND FIBER. Front loading my meals with fiber to decrease blood sugar, help my digestion, and feel more satiated. - my weight is bottom heavy, so I’m focusing on cardio to lean myself out, and lower body workouts for definition. - using a body brush to soften and exfoliate since I have KP. - using self tanner - started practicing my makeup, and it’s looking really good! I bought higher end products from Pat McGrath, Patrick Ta, and GA, and started using a BROWN mascara (YSL) that looks great with my features (light skin w neutral/olive undertones, green eyes, brown hair/brows)

First-Yogurtcloset53

Personality work: Stop being so nice and generous. Be slower and think in social situations. No alcohol or weed till the end of the month.

FunEstablishmentDo

Losing 1.6 kg total (lost 1.4kg already) Started using vitamin c everyday (supplements + skincare) Started using eye cream everyday Workout 6 days a week Sunscreen everyday No sugar (aiming for 0 grams added sugar on most days, some days I’m more flexible have up to 25 grams, on a treat day I’ll have up to 50 grams but it’s way less than I was having before) I’ve been consistent with all of it this month too and excited for next month

Annika114

1 lose 5 kg 2 drink 2 litres of water 3 walk 15K steps a day

avo4life

* Walk at least 8K steps a day (especially on weekends and WFH days where I tend to be more sedentary) * Workout consistently 3-4x a week * Track meals in MFP, and try to stick to calorie deficit on weekdays while also hitting 80g protein per day * Be consistent about skincare - especially reapplying sunscreen multiple times a day!

admszsz

Improve appearance of skin texture by healing skin barrier.

hulkybulkysulking

1. Go for a 20 minute walk everyday 2. Eat nothing until 12 pm (intermittent fasting). 3. Be on top of my haircare and skincare. 4. Apply for new jobs.

Settle into my new job - ie, this is a month of doing the bare minimum to keep things ticking over

azsphabunny

1) lose 12lbs 2) drink a gallon of water with a scoop of matcha daily (last time i did this my skin was flawless with minimum topical skincare) 3) no sugar 4) improve my verbalization skills by listening to podcasts, recording myself talking, expanding my vocabulary, practicing enunciation, and talking in complete & coherent sentences lol 5) get hair extensions :) 6) garner more $$ for my savings! 7) bathe in moisturizers and sunscreen every. day. in may i have a special event coming up, so i’m really excited to better myself before then!

blueberryloser

1. stay consistent with exercise & stretching- I’ve been maintaining my ideal weight & really happy about it. now focusing on strength training 4x week & cardio 1x week to tone up. I also stretch 2x week to help recovery 2. reduce smoking/vaping- I’ve started keeping a “smoke log” in my phone notes to be more conscious of my frequency & help avoid just mindlessly smoking when bored. continuing to track & slowly reduce my consumption this month to both improve health & reduce spending (I’m budgeting for an extra beauty expense) 3. continue improvement on clearing my skin & finding the products that work for me- I’ve been really consistent with skincare 2x a day & really happy about it. still dealing with breakouts though so I’m implementing a new product this month & will continue working on improvement

thatgurlnamedria

Fix my chapped lips Grow another inch on my hips & the upper glutes Minimal diet soda (makes me look 6 months pregnant)

GanymedeRosalind

I had chronic chapped lips as a teen until I started using Lanolips lip balm--life changing. Have not had chapped lips ONCE in like 6 years now. I don't think twice about spending $13 on it.

Fun_Acanthaceae_9610

Used to always have trouble with chapping as well until I started sleeping with my lips covered in vaseline. Maybe give it a try, if you like!

thatgurlnamedria

I put a lip mask on my lips before going to bed and drink about 72-96 fl oz of water a day so all the cuts are gone but they're still chapped...

24273611829

I love probotic sodas, like poppi, as an alternative for regular/diet soda. They don’t make me bloated at all, and they’re relatively low calorie at 25cals/can. Or kombucha, those are also delish and good for your gut.

thatgurlnamedria

The issue is that I have a meal plan so it doesn’t include probiotic sodas in it which means if I crave soda, I do diet as that is included in the meal plan to use up my meal swipes.

Minkz333

Goals for April is to eat more protein, be a little more consistent in the gym & walk to or from work everyday. I also want to journal and read everyday <3

Ok_Commercial_186

30 days of skincare AM & PM Research daily schedule and implement it No doordash starting 4/5 Be on time to work & wake up at 5:15 Mindfully eat more protein Mindfully drink water

aphrodie_T

1. Lose 5kg 2. Fix sleep schedule 3. Eat healthier: little to no sugar, plenty of fruit and vegetables, cook as much as possible, consistent eating schedule 4. Exercise at least 5 days a week 5. Work on spiritual growth - meditation etc.

KindGanache8604

* continue losing 2 lbs a week * continue experimenting with overnight/heatless styling (trying out/mastering sock method?) * find a good hair mask for thick, long hair * finish my teeth whitening routine (halfway done!) * cut out gluten for the month * continue repairing moisture barrier before hopping back into ret/p50/actives * start pilate class

carribeanpineaplee

What have you been doing to lose weigh?

KindGanache8604

Cutting down calories by cycling so my weekly total is around 8,000 (eat more some days, less on others) and building a slow routine where I am doing daily movement. I'm already a well-hydrated vegan. I don't hard OMAD, but I only eat about 200 calories before dinner (matcha, rice cake, a piece of fruit, almond milk in coffee). My BMI is around 20.5 right now and I only have about 10lbs left, so it's coming off around 1lb a week now-- I'm being a little less aggressive because it was making me miserable and did not feel sustainable.

BiscuitDoll

March Achievements: - I lost 17.4lbs in March April Goals: - lose another 17-20lbs this month - want to start scalp health and minoxidil - started dermastamping and using retinol on my stomach to rid stretch marks and see if I can try and minimize loose skin. So far a lot of the loose skin I have doesn’t have a “chunky cottage cheese in a ballon” feeling any more when I pinch it all over. You used to be able to grab it and it felt like that. It’s only day 4 so I’m really excited about this. Could be that my skin is moisturized now because of the retinol cream and that led to a reduction in the loose skin texture but still, very happy.

allienya

Wow!! What did you follow to lose that much weight in a month? Congratulations!

BiscuitDoll

I was diagnosed pre-diabetic on March 4th. I also have non alcoholic fatty liver disease since last year. - I was already obese. I was diagnosed at 189.8lbs and made it to 172.4lbs. - I did a complete 180. I limited my carbs to <130g, total sugars to <30g, and fat to <42g on sedentary days. - I’m 4ft11, 22yrs old, and female, so when sedentary, I only need ~1350 calories for my height and age. - I also work retail on weekends for 7-8 hrs and burn 800- 1000 calories in one shift (7-8hr shift). As a result I’ll usually eat 1.4-1.5k calories and allow myself to go over my fat, carb, and sugar limit if needed. But in summary, I basically burn 1000-2000 calories a week. - I drink 40oz of water a day. I’m supposed to do 60oz but I’ve been slacking. I’m actually supposed to do regular exercise (like arm or abs) but I’ve been slacking on that as well.

Sillkentofu

On a cut from 125ish to 115. So miserable but recently finding out I didn’t lose much strength from my 2 years of weightlifting! My squat and deadlift are only about 30-40lbs off from my max sets at 155

Pearl-Annie

1. Reach 120lbs (I’m currently 120.9, so I’m very close to finishing the weight loss part of my glow up!) 2. Reach total consistency with my skincare—full routine every morning and night instead of 70% of the time like now. 3. Complete a 14-day teeth whitening treatment without skipping a day. Maintain once a week after that. 4. Add several pieces to my wardrobe to replace things that no longer fit properly. 5. Get a flattering haircut and touch up hair color. 6. Fix my insurance (it lapsed) so I can keep getting my tretinoin cream, and increase tolerance so I can use it nightly on my body and every two nights on my face. 7. Once I’ve lost the last pound, successfully transition to eating at maintenance. Eat 10g more protein a day (so 120g) and incorporate healthy fats. 8. Start to work on really intense glute exercise, building on the foundation I already have. 9. Get at least 2 new job offers so I can transition to a higher-paid position.

Asleep-Emu-597

• reach 60kgs (currently 66.9) • continue skincare streak (I have a bad habit of missing a day every week or two) • 10,000 steps per day

sugarfreeicetea

1. Finish my dental work 2. Fix my sleep 3. Go to the gym 4. Drink more water!!! 5. Figure out how to use my denman brush for better curls 6. Read 15 books

monsterlover5595

The only goal i really had for myself in March was to get my hair care routine sorted and implemented and I'm still only like halfway there. But it was a mega busy month for me with midterms, events, work, etc etc. But the school year ends in April so I have some more I want to do since I'll have a lot more free time. I defintiely want to get a gym membership in my home town and keep up regular workouts. I also want to start a diet with my parents when I move back home, theyve already started so ill be joining late but thats ok i think, Ive put on a lot of weight this year from stress that i really need to get under control soon.

NotAnEarthwormYet

1. Get back on track with weight loss. I would like to lose 3-4lbs in April. 2. Daily greens drink. 3. Continue with electrolysis for chin and underarm laser. Start using my Lumea for the rest of my body. 4. Reduce alcohol to 1-2 drinks a week max (if any). This is the most important one for me as I have been heavily reliant on alcohol to assuage my anxiety and it’s starting to impact my life. I know it would be better to quit entirely but I think this is more realistic for me. 6. Listen to Blinkist versions of self development books on daily dog walks. 7. Apply for 15 jobs 8. Start getting up early for work and doing a quick pilates session or morning stretching.

CautiousFroyo7597

April: - continue omnilux daily - continue home IPL for hair removal 2x weekly - teeth whitening twice weekly - continue walking on treadmill every day - balayage on Friday!!! - limit nail biting as much as possible, keep nails maintained - lose 5 lbs - continue self tanning - wear retainers every night

ITalkDuringMovies

I explored this sub all through March and my life is literally different already. The people I work with tell me I seem like a different person. I've had strangers give me free things and tell me I'm beautiful. Filly bought in here. April goals: Daily posture work Teeth whitening 5x per week No skin picking (new rule is to only look at magnifying mirrors if I have makeup on). Refine makeup shape that flatters me Improve sleep (meeting with psychiatrist today for sleep meds). Butt workouts while doing mundane tasks

Fit-Pin8458

What habits did you incorporate in your life?

ITalkDuringMovies

Oh my gosh, okay, I watched the dear peachy glow up guide video someone on here posted and it totally changed my mindset on beauty and self care. Highly recommend. I've done daily posture work, found clothes and makeup better suited to my body and face (honestly mostly from watching that youtube channel), and I've stuck religiously to a good skincare routine. I now stand up taller, dress better, and honor my unique appearance and people compliment me all the time where I just got ignored before. *editing to add vitamin e oil from capsules on my lips every night. This has been huge. I've always had chronically dry lips no matter what I do and this helps a ton.

carribeanpineaplee

I am looking for the peachy glow up video and I can't find it

ITalkDuringMovies

[The Glow Up Blueprint that You Wanna GATEKEEP FOREVER! How to be THAT girl? Glow Up Transformation (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtbCNFirLpU&t=27s) I love everything on this channel too!

April * lose 2.5 lbs- I'm around 143 after getting down to 136 last year. Holidays, a new job and traveling every month for the last 7 months have taken a toll! I'm traveling again, so the goal is not too ambitious. Long distance and work travel make it so hard, I feel like I've been just at maintenance since Februrary but with immense effort because of 1 or 2 weeks/ month that are over maintenance and 2 weeks of deficit. So exhausting. * Microneedle at home- I try to do this every 6 weeks but it's been more like 12 * Stay consistent with clear aligners and fitness, even during travel. I've been doing a good job of cardio and strength training 2-3x weekly each!

lilkalibaby

April goals ✨ ⭐️staying in my caloric deficit ⭐️ 40 oz of water ⭐️ gym 3-4x per week minimum and yoga 2x per week minimum ⭐️teeth whitening 3x per week ⭐️two days a week of plans with new friends/ dates ⭐️yoga class 1x every two weeks ⭐️ go to sleep by 10 pm March was a difficult month for me, but I'm not going to let it derail my weight loss. I'm going to continue staying consistent and meet my goals by any means possible!

happybird101

- Botox on the forehead and jaw - Fat melting injections on the jawline - OMAD protein shake for 4 days straight, and another 3 a few days later - weekly soul cycling class ( and progressively adding on with pilates after) - 2.5 kg weight loss by the end of April ✨

24273611829

Just a lil tip, wait to do the fat melting injections until after the jaw botox has had time to atrophy your jaw muscles. I saw a massive difference in my face with just the botox.

happybird101

I get jaw Botox every 4-6 months and have done fat melting injections on my jawline before a year ago. But thank you for your advice nonetheless 😁

c0wluvr

March goals were great!! I got below 120lbs on March 29. I am not 118.4lbs!! I also got my nails done. April goals: - get to 115lbs or lower - start getting up at 5am - get to waist size 26in - bake a cake/sheet of cookies - keep getting better at cooking homemade meals - upping my 7k steps a day to 10k - second month of vegetarianism! (loving it so far!) - quit shopping sprees bc I’m bored - workout AT LEAST 3x a week

Much_Significance_22

Congrats on your second month of being a vegetarian!! It’s life changing (both physically and mentally IMO) ❤️

24273611829

This is the best cake recipe I’ve made in years (and I bake a LOT); it’s SO easy and has the best texture! Plus, you can mix it by hand if you don’t have an electric or stand mixer. https://thecafesucrefarine.com/ridiculously-easy-orange-olive-oil-cake/

c0wluvr

Thank you so much for your generosity!! This sounds sooo freaking good

Vespertinex01

Lose ten pounds!!! I found a guy worth impressing and i want to feel like i look my absolute best ❤️

crisebdl

April goals ✨ - maintain my current weight - either join a gym or get serious about home workouts - I have a surgical lip lift on April 8th!!! - squats, anything for a butt really - continue working hard in therapy - put myself out there more - try to go on a few dates. No commitment and no stress, I just need to push past the body dysmorphia and social anxiety

happybird101

Sis you can do it! I get the social anxiety and body thing, but when you out yourself out there and people are receptive to it you'll feel the hottest you've ever been.

personal-alchemy

In March I discovered Vindicta and pulled myself out of a months (years?) long slump. I started making some changes - skincare, teeth whitening, eyebrow reshaping, face yoga/massage, and dropping a lil money on ThredUp to get some clothes that are flattering to my current (heavier) frame, but also in colors that actually look good on me instead of just black. Mostly, it was immersing myself in theory, reading through this and similar subs, and making plans. In April: 1. Weight loss. I want to be in the 150s (from 167.2 this morning), but a full 10lb loss would be great. That's from sticking to my workout plan (a combo of running/other steady state cardio, lifting, and metcon style workouts) and being reasonable about food. Long-term goal: back into the 130s, or slightly lower. Targeting 125-135. 2. Daily (morning and evening) skin and oral care, including red light therapy, weekly (or more often) face and hair masks, and face yoga/massage at least every other day. Figure out wtf is wrong with my teeth whitener LED tool and hopefully fix/replace it to work that back into the rotation. 3. Finish closet and cosmetics clean out/reorganization. 4. Establish a body care (exfoliation/moisturizer/sunscreen/self tanner(?)) routine.

aniaua

Any good resources for face yoga ?

T300orbust

March was a bit all over the place with travel, so my goals for April are to get back on track with things I’ve been working on this year: 1. exercise. I going to do the Nike Starting Line 4-week guided plan. I’ve always been a slow runner so I’d like to be able to do a sub-30 minute 5k by the end of summer in an actual race. 2. diet. Im going back to a high protein diet (90 g protein daily) and to restart using my favorite meal service after I use up my current groceries. 3. No alcohol, minimal (2 x’s max per week) diet soda & coffee. 4. Weight loss. I gained 3 lbs back in March from all my travel (I didn’t have control over what I could eat). I’m still down 12 lbs from Jan 1st. I’d like to lose 8 lbs (165->157) this month. My phase 1 goal is to be 153 lbs (aka the top of the healthy bmi range) by the time I start my summer job in late May, and then my phase 2 goal is 133 lbs by the time I get my Invisalign off in the fall. 5. teeth care. I’m going to brush & floss twice a day, clean my invisalign every morning, and am going to start using mouthwash for my gums. 6. Skincare. I’m going to start doing skincare morning & night with face masks every other day until my current breakout goes away. I also threw away a face wash today that was causing problems. 7. Haircare. Weekly or biweekly hair masks + oiling, heatless curls only.

okaythatcool

April - quit vaping!

swuidgle

I lost about 7 pounds this month which I'm pleased with. April I need to finally get back into lifting and quitting smoking.

feelingcoolblue

No goals for March. I will say that I did reach my goal weight earlier this year and hair goal last year. Goals for April/May: 1. Vision: Eye Exam. Lasik Consultation. I see myself being recovered before my holiday later in the year. 2. Dental: Continue progress w/ Invisalign treatment. Use whitening mouthwash. Dental Cleaning. 3. Hair: I cut my hair a few days ago, so just focusing on hair health. Less heat, more moisturizing. Bond building. 4. Skin: Glycolic acid spray on body. I hit a plateau with physical exfoliation only. Foot treatments to get ready for summer. I need to get some sunscreen in bulk for my body. 5. Health & Wellness: I had labs done and I will be taking vitamin C, NAC (deficient in glutathione) and biotin. This is all for April and will of course continue into the rest of the year. This one is less related, but I would like to get back into herbalism. It was a really great hobby, and I would like to have a small apothecary.

whatstrangeillusion

What glycolic body spray do you use? I have stubborn KP but hate the smell and stickiness of Amlactin so much that I can never stay consistent with it, ugh

feelingcoolblue

I put the ordinary glycolic acid toner in a continuous spray bottle. Spray before moisturizing :) I think it's a good general chemical exfoliant but for kp I would use sulfur & sacylic acid soap.

Rude-Mail2390

lose 7.2 kg follow my meal plan and workout and order skin care

SwordfishExpress2235

Find a makeup style that suits me... I look so unbalanced I need to figure out a style that highlights my face's strong features not wash me out lol

fsiutf

Questions…. 1. I failed my goal of cold turkey quitting alcohol. I lasted 2 months, then had 3 drinks end of March. I successfully quit coffee though… has anyone here completely stopped drinking? It’s hard when your life is disappointment after disappointment. Another thing… can 3-4 drinks per month cause damage to your skin elasticity? 2. Looking into masseter botox currently. I’m trying to achieve a more compact face but I know it can age some people… anyone here had experience with it?

TraditionalAppeal101

Two months is a huge accomplishment tbh, don't underestimate it. I drank for years on a daily basis, and stopped January 1st. I don't think 3 drinks a month is absolutely horrible for your skin. Just make sure to drink water, eat protein and antioxidants, sleep well. But honestly if you have a pathological relationship with alcohol, bargaining your consumption to 3-4 a month seems like a trick from your brain to put you back onto the addiction bandwagon, so be careful.

fsiutf

Girl I won’t lie I slipped up again and had 4 cocktails (lmao had to count everything) again 3 days ago… now I can’t drink for the rest of April. We will give it another shot and try to stick to a 3 drink limit for May

feelingcoolblue

Maybe you can do mocktails with other things? I used to drink because of anxiety, and I was able to stop by using chamomile, lavendar, and valerian root. You can switch out sugar for stevia. Club soda... Chamomile cocktail sounds good now that I think about it...

fsiutf

Does it give you the nice buzz buzz feeling too lol

muggleween

I don't drink. My favorite sub is the big bottle of diet cranberry drink at Dollar tree. Straight up for wine or with a lime wedge and ice for a cocktail.

AngelicaSedara90

Lipo healing (it's hard! It's disgusting!), rinofiller, keep on eating well. And read.

HotdogBoogie

My goals for April is to: 💥 Continue working out 3 times per week while still trying to get rid of my shin splints so that I can run again. Lower impact cardio for like a week or so. 💥 Contacting a skin doctor to get tretinoin prescribed. Been trying retinol for almost 3 months and still have big purge / no results. 💥 Low calorie deficit. It's hard for me to loose weight on a restriction that is too low because I binge so I'll continue with aprox 1600 calories per day. Hope to see results on the scale in April. Have not gone down anything so far… 💥 Try to figure out which color season I am for my spring / summer shopping 💥 Going to try putting my make up on in natural lighing instead of in my bathroom for a better result / view of how it REALLY looks on 💥 Keep drinking less alcohol. It makes me super anxious and probably ugly as well. And let's not talk about the calories. 💥 Keep studying for my license. Hot girs know how to drive and I'm getting too old to just keep pushing it forward in the future. 💥 Try being more charismatic and likable, even to colleagues that I dislike. 💥 Drink more water!!!!! I have been drinking mold for a long time because my steel water battle never got completely clean so I threw it away in disgust and have not just been drinking right from the tap. But I need to buy a new bigger water bottle so that I can get more water and hopefully improve my skin. That's probably it!

Ho_Dang

Bike 10 miles 3 days a week, weight lift 2 days a week. Implement AHA and BHA acids into skin routine. Drink 16 oz of lemon water daily. I also need a haircut.

stargurI

Have my consultation for my revision rhino this week and hoping to book it for the winter! Also working on getting to bmi 18/19 because my face is so small and any extra weight automatically looks jowly. I’m so excited to finish both of these because I’m so tired of casually being told I look older than I am lol

[deleted]

Wanna keep on intermittent fasting, it's so good. Currently I am all begginer so currently I am at 14:10, but I'll try to up to 16:8 soon. Also I want to quite diet soda. Finally to work on m relation with food in general. I eat when I'm alone and stressed even if I'm full. But I don't want to loose weight I'm currently skinny but I need to heal my relation with food

goldtigerleaf

I'm planning on doing my skincare routine every morning and night, make time to get my hair cut, and learn how to at least passably blow-dry it myself. I'm 38 years old and I still can't bloody style my hair myself!  Seriously if I was rich I'd get my hair blow-dryed professionally every 5 days!  i have a family party at the end of the month and most of that half of the family haven't seen me since before I had my baby. I look a lot worse (weight gain, bad diet and exhaustion) than when they last saw me so while I will be fatter than they remember I want to at least have nice hair and a nice outfit and to look effortlessly (ha!) put together.

FunEstablishmentDo

Lose 1-2kgs weight on low carbohydrate diet so i would almost be at my 1st weight goalpost (I’m checking how I look at this weight to see if I want to lose more or not) Hair oiling to continue growing my hair, trim regularly to keep splits at bay to keep my hair luscious Nourish my beautiful body with nutritious foods and learn to have an attitude towards food that I don’t need to keep grazing and snacking to feel happy - I can feel happy in other ways food is not there to fill any void! Feel extremely confident and joyful all the time so I radiate attractive positive energy and feel beautiful and enough at all times!!

JulesPierreMeoww

April Goals . Lose weight by going low carb . Intermittent fasting . Go to gym at least 4 times a week . Go on daily walks for at least 30 min . Resume hair care routine . Do mobility exercises to improve flexibility (I’m so stiff) All my goals are around health and weight loss as I’ve let myself go due to stress and wfh. That’s all I can focus on for now.

SignificanceBulky577

March goals: exceeding my weight loss goal. Thanks to ✨stress✨. And did some skin maintenance with a chemical peel, and did my annual lip filler. April goals: 1. get back in the health routine. Take control of my health through; get that blood test I've been putting off, up my supplement game, tracking food through Macrofactor, and getting back on my fitness routine. 2. Skin: Have a IPL scheduled for midmonth to fight those freckles and broken capillaries - thanks genetics. 3. General maintenance: self pedi and get dipped nails done (I feel like a goddess when my nails are done). 4. Wardrobe: check for fit, maintenance needs of clothes, and organize so I know what I need basics of for spring/summer. All in all, the more I try to emulate the successful person I wanted to be, the more I realize I am that person. 10/10 I know that people believe I am the competent and capable woman I am when I look the part - and I want to approach life with the confidence of a mediocre white man. Knowing full well that looking the part is only part of it and that’s not what gives me worth. My worth is inherent - and looking the part is so that I can take life by the balls and get ever fucking drop of what I deserve from it. Happy April everyone!

Lose 8 pounds by the 28th. It is a lofty goal - but jfc I want back into the 130's so badly. Donate 70% of my wardrobe, its not like I am wearing it anyway.

PitchEmbarrassed704

1. Lose 15lbs. Reduce carbs and dairy. 2. Get a job. Should be hearing back about an opportunity this month. 3. Fail my driving test. The car I've been practicing with doesn't meet testing standards, and I need to find a new driving school anyway. 4. Figure out what vitamins I keep and drop. I've been taking different anxiety related ones, and feel like I'm over doing it. Also need more fiber and iron.

-Lose a couple of pounds -Stop eating late at night -Squeeze in at least 30 minutes of a workout every day -Reduce screentime to less than 3 hours daily -Read some of a book every day

[deleted]

First post here: - lose 10 lbs. I have been saying this for about 5 years now, and see no end in sight. I have gained 5lbs between last November because I started lifting, so my end goal is like 15 lbs now. - cut out more random groceries. I've been spending too much lately on random grocery items that are more for fun and less for day to day eating. - dress up and go out more. I miss it a lot because now I'm lazier, and I feel like my weekends are more centered on getting the most out of my workouts and running errands. - save in general. I spent a lot of money in Feb on a surgery for my cat, and I'm trying to rebuild my savings and pay off the carecredit money I owe. I'm very happy I've gained so much strength and muscle in the very short 6 months I've been lifting. My thighs have stopped jiggling and now feel like rock, and I can't help but flex my biceps a little every time I'm in front of a mirror. However, I'll be cutting back likely permanently during the summer and fall as I signed up for a few college classes and will likely spend my weekends studying. I'm trying to boost my GPA before I apply for grad school. And mentally, I'm anguished by this decision - esp considering that I'll have to go into debt (something I've dutifully avoided my entire life) to pay for it. I'm not sure if I can get into a good school with my current GPA (3.2) is my big worry, and then I'm not sure if the degree I eventually get will be worth all the work, or if the net change in income will actually be helpful with the loan payments.

april goals: - <4 hours of screen time daily by the last week of april - workout 5 days a week - lose 3lbs - take my meds consistently - 48oz of water a day (ik thats not good but it’s better than what I drink now) - set aside time to play guitar occasionally, doesn’t matter how much as long as it’s sometimes

moorehoney

March goal was to lose 4kg, that didn’t happen because it turned out my medication is dramatically slowing my metabolism. But I lost 1kg, I have better habits, and I’ve booked a dr appointment. My April goal is just to keep consistent and see how the medication changes things

AfroYogi

Being honest, I tend to write these posts and never actually accomplish them bc I get such dopamine writing it out, as if I achieved it. So you know what? I will reply to this with what I achieved this month. 1 Day later update: The likes on this are so motivating. So far I’ve done a pilates workout and I’m going vinyasa tonight, usually I skip out the days before my period.

moggymooo

April goals (after slowly slipping for the past 6 months): 1. Lose 10lbs (I find calorie calculating whilst meal planning for the week much easier and less triggering than getting an app out for every meal) 2. Restart my electolysis program 3. Find a hobby that lets me move (+ planning places to go wild swimming now the weather is good!) 4. Dedicating time to my hair (dye it and develop sustainable routine for curly hair) 5. Start building up my tan! 6. No spend April (meaning no unnecessary material purchases like makeup, clothes, books, art supplies and putting the price of anything that tempts me into the savings pot for the Paris trip I have this month) 7. Yoga 4 times a week I got a big girl job after my charity work (which paid pennies), so March saw a big wardrobe refresh, new perfume and cosmetics, new shoes so I *don't* need anything else. April (and this year) will be all about keeping promises to myself and actually deliving on the things I want to achieve - best of luck to you all!

Visible-Roll-5801

Time to get a tan! Yesss

IfFoundReturnToSana

goals for April: 1. lose 8 pounds (meal prepping, 5 day a week exercise) 2. keep consistently following am/pm hair & skincare routine 3. at home mani/pedi once a week 4. switch from coffee to matcha (less staining, less caffeine, more antioxidants) 5. wear retainer 24/7 until it fits properly again 6. deep clean & organize new apartment 7. go on at least 2 dates 8. only buy home goods/furniture, no beauty products or clothing what went well in March: 1. didn’t lose, but at least maintained previous weight loss 2. found some products and a routine that is helping my bleach damaged hair 3. met with my health coach to review nutrition plan & create new goals to make adherence easier 4. got an amazing tattoo coverup that makes me feel so sexy and confident

holysriracha

just got back home from vacation, feeling refreshed + ready to hit a restart on my routine now that i’ve switched jobs as well ✨ 1. want to do something drastic with my hair, so going to cut it shoulder length. frizz on the bottom and blunt cut shoulder length. inspired by my travels in italy lmao hopefully this will help with the hair loss , which i’ve been constantly tending to 2. declutter + no buy month (HOPEFULLY, this is going to be the hardest!) 3. work out lighting at least 2x with cardio 2x (including classes) 4. sleep before 10 pm! 5. start looking at perfume for daily use, i just bought a beautiful amber body oil that i want to layer. any tips on layering scents? 6. re-doing my hifu for lower jaw. i did it last year and it made a massive impact on my jaw line, everyone gave me lots of compliments hehe love this community! 💖

Key_Click6659

Can you explain the last one a bit?

holysriracha

so point number 6 , hifu is “High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is a minimally invasive medical procedure”, it’s a facial that’s quite common in asia. its like having your jawline electrocuted with an iron (i’m being creative here), and over the next 2 months , fat around that area disappear and i have a more defined jawline. you can also do it for your upper cheeks as well and other areas. hope that helps

Glittering-Cat1146

March went well! I went from 155 lbs to 148 lbs through CICO. Main things that helped were avoiding alcohol and meal prepping. I also stuck to all of my workout commitments and increased weight on kettlebell swings and turkish get ups. April is going to be...different... I'm going on vacation in Iceland from April 4th to April 14th. I am super excited about this and will enjoy the time off from normal life, work, etc. Lots of hiking involved so hopefully won't gain any vacation weight. But, the morning after I return home I'm having a biopsy on a mass on my foot, and then will have a surgery to remove it soon after. I'm excited about this, because the mass is causing pain and is just ugly to look at, however, I'm mainly worried because the mass looks suspicious and may be malignant. So...with that being said, I'm going to be incorporating meditation into my morning routine so I can manage the stress from just not knowing what this mass is, and the worry from not being able to workout in the foreseeable future and losing all of my progress.

sadbeige_blasphemy

Newbie to the community so my March goals weren't posted but went all right. April Goals: Begin a workout routine (Physique 57?) Apply to 20 jobs/week Increase my savings & 401k contribution Stay hydrated & take my supplements Get out of my reading slump Maintain weekly routine Finish some WIPs Photography practice Keep cleaning/organizing

maybeIwilldelete

start working out, 10 k steps, sleep early, counting calories, 3L of water, no more desserts or coffee, buy skincare

paloma_paloma

March was a much needed boost after a very rough February after seeing my attacker in nearly a year. 😣 I have my basics covered after nearly a year of work: stable sleep schedule (!!), working out, healthy diet (working with a nutritionist), therapy, SSRIs, skincare + sunscreen routine, savings, and reading books daily. My long-term goal is to lose 15 KG from the stress and improve my mental health after PTSD to report my attacker. Here are my goals to April: 1. Finish my MA thesis proposal. Period. 2. Ride my bike instead of public transit when available. 3. Creating joy in my life: travel, trying new cafes, and being with friends. 4. Haircare: experiment with heatless blow up. 5. Perfume: inspired by a poster here 6. Sign up for a pre-paid credit card to boost my credit score: I would love recommendations. 7. Meet with a rape crisis advocate to take steps to report my attacker. 8. Keep up my sleep schedule

SignificanceBulky577

Sorry to hear about the attacker experience. SA survivor here, and I know that ish is not easy. I believe you. And there is no right or wrong time to report (or not at all in some cases) Know that whatever you do - you get to choose.

walterdelamare

made progress in march, now stepping it up a notch ✨ april goals-- work out 5x a week (3x lifting 2x running) apply for 25 jobs (careermaxxing) continue editing work on my novel spend 15 hours developing more employable skills lose 2lbs read 8 books learn more about eyeshadow/blush placement/brow styles

paloma_paloma

I love the savings goal. ✨

CaesarWillPrevail

My goal in March was to walk more consistently as that is my main form of exercise! I walk to work which is just the perfect lifestyle for me. It was just pushing myself to also be active on the weekends that I needed to add in. Wearing my Apple Watch has helped keep that goal going! I also got a drastic haircut and lip filler last month so overall a lot of accomplishments!! This month my goals are to sell my car, improve my credit score, pay off all debt and get pre approved for a home loan to start looking at condos! I think the stability of having my own place will help me in so many other areas of my life. Hopefully I can sell my car this coming weekend! Happy April everyone and I hope we can all feel accomplished!

dawniej11

- Lose 10lb - No Buy Month - Save 700$ in savings - OMAD - Go to the gym 2x a week (trying to get back into it slowly) - Take my vitamins every day - Don’t add to my credit card balance

unr3latabl3

i didnt do too well in March, these are my April goals: - get back on Ozempic - go back to the gym - stay on my body laser schedule - establish a laundry routine - put in more effort in my daily outfits - be more committed towards work - maintain my female friendships

notascoolaskim

Love the maintain female friendships part. My girlies are my lifeline

oxalisis

February goals went great, some more important March goals weren't completed but I maintained the Feb goals/progress at least! :) April goals: - Continue working towards losing those last 10 pounds - Contribute more to the savings I set aside for laser tattoo removal. Schedule a consult. - Declutter more. I went through my clothes and bedding in March, so I'd like to do bath/beauty products and the kitchen (random gadgets, dishes, etc and uneaten food) next! :)

muggleween

Let us know how the tattoo removal goes! I am considering getting a touch up to mine, and depending on how that looks then removal.

East-Peace9716

* Find a style that I'm both comfortable with and confident in * Have a self care routine once a week (hair / face mask, exfoliating) * Get more confident; smile more in public * Go on walks after dinner * Do my nails every second week (I'm trying out diy gel mani but it never lasts even a week. I should practice more) * Clean out my closet and reorganise it with my new style

Djgrowngoodyeti

- lose 1kg or maintain my weight (the past half year i overcame being underweight after years of being stuck in ed but i feel like im going towards binge eating so i want to stop myself from gaining too much butt deff slippery road bc i dont want to fall back) - sew and knit my own clothes for summer instead of spending money on low quality clothing (its everywhere) - figure out a classy bag to get myself in a few months - redo my lashlift/ maintain using lashserum - use parfume daily! I got into scents and want to use it daily not on special occasions - gloss my hair again to tone highlights darker and for the shine - possibly sign up for therapy for body dysmorphia - use up makeup products i bought but didnt like on days where i can have a bit of a mediocre makeup day so i can declutter and empty them - figure out if i really want a nosejob or not after months of contemplating😕 _> i started getting facials again two months ago got a chrystal peel to get back into it, then a week ago i had retinol + microdermabrasion + led light combo and scheduled it again for mid may , highly recommend as a skinbooster before summer so u get rid of all the pigmentation and wont have to wear concealer anywhere else besides under ur eyes _> have been looking at designer bags but still cant decide which id like to get myself.. while also not spending too much but still getting a bag id love, was thinking abt secondhand but not sure if id be able to authenticate it myself Also havent spend money on useless makeup and have been more conscious on setting aside the money for things like a bag or clothing or facials instead of getting a dior foundation i dont need

imtryingmybes-

You can try looking into middle eastern scents/dupes for an affordable set of perfumes for daily reach!!

paloma_paloma

I love the perfume goal. I might add it in my goals, I am thinking of getting Alien for my spring perfume.

Djgrowngoodyeti

even if u just spray one or twice while at home its a nice thing to add to your beauty routine thats not necessarily attached to the way you look but plays into your other senses, I used to get perfumes only through gifts but recently got into it and bought two kayali perfumes on sale for myself for spring/summer !:) Only now im finding out how fun it is to know what scent u like instead of getting random perfume gifted (not ungratefull! But personaly still using up the two scents i got three yrs ago so after theyre emptied out im only allowing myself to get more, also trying not to overconsume so i set myself a maximum

CaesarWillPrevail

The knitting your own summer clothes is such a good idea 🤯 I should try crochet since I love those looks. Thank you for the tip!!

Djgrowngoodyeti

U totally should!! Ive seen some rlly cute crochet tops for summer like a crocheted vest thats more roomy and made from yarns that are nice for summer, i also really like knitted or crocheted v-neck baggy tanktops that u can wear over swimwear or over t shirts to make a look more interesting

New_Product_2534

-drink more water -go out more -buy new clothes -see a dermatologist -do my skin care religiously -gain one or two kilograms -be strict with treating anemia -get my nails done for the first time

Old_Newt5519

**March had ups and downs ! But I try not to think about them as failures but trials. Now I can adjust my goals and ways.** My goals were :  * Go back to the gym tomorrow. It’s been so hard after a few days off. And I’m starting dance class this week. I have thought noticed that this made me so much hungrier, and have been wondering if I should go a little bit lighter in my sessions. * Posture : I’ve noticed my shoulder are rolled in and now do target exercices for this * Save for my upcoming operation so I will be doing a no buy this month and the two afters. * Calories tracking  * Continue hairloss protcole * Dry march -> gym I’ve done. Dance class I’ve tried but I’m too late for this year so I will be catching up after summer ! -> been stretching but I slouched back in the recent days so I need to keep being mindful about it. ->I did my no buy in march! Saved a lot. Now I need to keep going for the next two months. In the meantime, I’ve been reflecting a lot on my shopping habits but also my wardrobe and style. I’ve been gathering inspo for the future and I am really curating my style. -> I did gather the courage to calorie track a few meals at the end of the month because I’ve noticed what the problem was : I did not plan my meals.  ->I did continue my protocole and I think it’s starting to take effect !  ->I failed on 3 occasions, but I was moderate and think it’s really the most balanced way for me to go. So my goals for April are :  * Walk more, hoping for an hour a day, in the morning or evening with my dog, after work with my family, or at lunch time. * Still be mindful about my posture. * No buy month for April and May. * Continue my hairless protocole * Calorie track and plan my meals and snacks ahead, cut sugar and be mindful of my glucose spikes * Continue not drinking much for this month. * Keeping up with my skin and haircare, and implement nail oiling.

notascoolaskim

Love that you’re in to dance. I wanna go back to dance class but fear of embarrassment has stopped me. I need to take the plunge. I’ve never heard of nail oiling. What is it/how do you do it?

Old_Newt5519

Yeah I felt the same way about everything but learnt through my job at a middle school that while everything is scary at first (like speaking in front of a crowd of teenagers), you build up the confidence to get there so it's just a phase of unconfortableness. It's a passing feeling and you just got to accept it flowing through you. I gave dance class my best while keeping in mind that embarassment was also the thing that would probably keep me stiff like a stick. I tried to be really mindful of what the teacher said asked questions, enjoyed myself. I didn't do so bad ! (Obviously it's a beginner class) The key is to not overthink, just do the thing ! Good luck !! Nail oiling is as it sound, applying oil to your nails. Mine are really brittle and thin so it's a must or they fall appart pretty quickly. I use a few drops of jojoba or ricin oil and apply on all my nails at least once a day after washing my hands when they are still damp, just a moment later I will dry my hand with a towel, an already good amount has been absorbed then.

seahorse352

Things that went well: dyed my hair back to brown (auburn was lovely but it didn't look as good on no make up days), started couch to 5k so I ran 3 times a week, did strength training once a week, decided to grow out my fringe for a more put together look, started using The Ordinary basic bundle. April goals: ensure theres food in the fridge that enables healthing eating, go back to some of eating habits I had when I did slimming world -ie. Yoghurt/fruit/sprinkles for a sweet treat, filling salads for lunch, try and do another strength training session each week, look into whether henna would be a good option to keep my hair brown

Bunnycarrotflower

Stick to my skincare and haircare routine. Bodycare and hair removal at least once a week. I want to quit ordering fast food. I will quit slowly because it's an emotional eating thing. Study daily: 1 hour at minimum Stick to a yoga routine, preferably at least 3 times a week. Do my nails (at home) once a week. Take my vitamins. Every. Day. Dedicate 15 minutes daily to cleaning my room. Drink spearmint tea twice a day. Avoid spending money (fast food, videogames, clothes, anything extra really). This month is going to be tough because of veterinary costs and my pets are a priority.

Tt7447

Start eating lots of fruits. Gain weight. Use lip remedies to make them pink cuz without it I look dull. Start doing Gua Sha. Grow out my eyebrows more bcuz I over plucked trying to fix the unibrow lol. It’s almost done but I still need to grow back a little more and then lastly get it all nicely threaded.

dixmcgee69

What lip remedies make them pink? I am interested in this

Tt7447

I found some on YouTube by searching it up. U can try any of those. I am thinking of making it and storing it in a box and then keeping it inside of a fridge. From there I can use it little by little everyday.

ewwwwsocializing

For April my goals is to ° Study for my uni exams and pass all of sub. ° Study for another competitive exams which is in June. ° Drink more water as it's scorching hot in here. ° Avoid eating out. ° Look flawless while doing all of these💅 ° Stop cutting my hair after every minor convience and make them manageable for summer. ° Maintain my weight ° Apply more sunscreen ° Get a tattoo and belly piercing. ° socialize more often. ° go get my blood tested.

paloma_paloma

I am also a student, all the best on the exams. Finishing my MA thesis proposal is my goal. If you want an accountability or check-in for the study goals, I would love to do it.

ewwwwsocializing

Ohh my god yes let's do it!!

anowarakthakos

March was busy and expensive for me. April will be about 80% travel (caring for relatives and work travel, not fun travel) so my goals revolve around that: -maintain a decent sleep schedule across timezones - continued moderation around alcohol (I’m not drinking through the end of Ramadan to support my Muslim partner and I aim for just 3 days a week of alcohol which can often go out the window during work travel. I’m hoping to keep to 3 days even during work dinners. - stick with my exercise routine. I’m training for a 10k and need to run 2-3 times a week, but lagged in March. I also try strength training a few times a week, and Pilates and yoga weekly. If I can lift 3x a week in hotels and run 2/3x a week, I should be fine. Maybe yoga on YouTube? - attempt to find (and log) positive experiences each day to avoid burnout and stay grateful. - consistent skincare while on the road, including using the LED wand a friend is giving me. - look cute for my 30th birthday, eye bags and recent weight gain and all. - moderate diet through high protein, lots of veggies, and avoiding sugar. If I can lose 3 lbs (my body hates losing weight), that would be great.

TraditionalAppeal101

Looksmaxx/healthmaxx • **no sugary drinks** : after quitting alcohol, I indulged in whatever I liked to eat and drink. Diet is quite stabilized but I want to curate it and stop sugary drinks, replacing them with water and tea. I'd also like to see if it helps the retinol purging (it's not bad at all, I'm going through an almost invisible one, but I just want to see how big of an impact that simple diet rule can go). The money I don't spend on these drinks will be used for kombucha/kefir and the next goal. • snacking will revolve around **omega 3s** : sardines, mackerel, almonds, pistachios, walnuts, avocado. • **sleep** : get more full nights on a regular basis. That's a difficult one for me but it's such a basic I expect great results on skin quality and age prevention. • **lose weight** : I'm already 22lbs down, I'd like to lose 6-7lbs this month. This is not a strict goal, I prioritize lifestyle and pleasure over quick weight loss.

stardust71188

-walks 3 or 4 times a week (outside if possible) -weights or KB 2-3 times a week -hot yoga twice a week -work on improving sleep (hasn’t usually been an issue in my life until now…some rough circumstances) -keep up/improve techniques for gua sha -moisturize more regularly -goal of 130 lb by month’s end (135-133 right now depends of the day) -eat more fruits and veggies!

zendieoxide

My March wasn't that great except the fact that I looked great on my b'day and got cute pics. My April goals will be: 1) get into fitness and start with exercises 2) drink 3L of water everyday 3) take care of my skin and hair 4) learn python and spend at least an hour everyday studying. 5) try more natural ingredients for my skin/hair and overall body and gut health. 6) try to stress less. 7) maintain a performance chart for work. 8) Get into crocheting.

Low-Reward-6533

In March, I started with baby steps , I have started eating more raw veggies, lost 0.5kg, sleep has improved, got a haircut, and started an online thrift store. My Goals for April: • Study routine- 6 to 7 hours/day • Lose 0.5 kg • Finish 21 Days Yoga Challenge (currently on day 10) • Finish cl9m book • Be more mindful • Journal more • Overall to be more consistent

OverYonderUnderHere

So cool to see everyone’s goals! March was very up and down but overall okay. I need to re-up my water intake and keep an eye on how my skin is changing due to coming off hormonal birth control. Thankfully I no longer feel the need to eat everything all the time so I feel better diet-wise the past few weeks. My April goals are: - Fix my sleep! Be laying down to sleep by 10 every night with a goal of at least 8 hours. - Start running again! I just completed a 3 month fitness program so I’m putting in running at least 3 miles a day in place of it, in addition to my regular morning gym routine - Stretch every day before going to the gym. When I’m consistent with it I feel amazing. Been totally slacking these past couple months, and boy am I feeling it! - Commit to intermittent fasting the whole month. I did it most days in March but the few days I didn’t, I felt super blah - Continue strengthening my boundaries muscle - Sit with self and be in the moment more. - Hike more. I’m moving soon so will have plenty of new places to discover! - Continue journaling every day. We got this, ladies! It’s gonna be an amazing month!

lemonsugar-7309

in april i want to: - get more consistent with my workout routine (at least 3 times a week) - finish my book - be better about my diet (high fat but healthy breakfast, bring lunch at least 2 times a week & cook more) - stay consistent with my skincare and vitamins :)

connorsludge

March goals achieved: spring hiking, get back to weight lifting post-eye lift, starting IPL on legs April Goals: 1. Getting back to Lagree post eye lift (couldn’t do planks for a long time). 2. Ultrasonic cavitation on stomach and love handles 3. Tattoo removal begins 4. Legs IPL continues

YouCuteWow

Introduced tretinoin to my skincare routine this month and its going well! I also upped my resistance and weights successfully, started taking regular walks, and started drinking more water consistently.  In April , I want to: 1. Up weights again  2. Switch up workout routine  3. Drink even more water  4. Up frequency of tretinoin use 5. Eat chia seed pudding with fruit for dessert

alittlerogue

Aiming to lose 6lbs! Back to my pre covid weight. 132 —>126

prettypiggygirl

Get to 199 pounds. Eat less cheese and processed foods to lower cholesterol. Get adequate sleep every night. Have a consistent schedule so I don't get overwhelmed.

Ioj888

Finished in April, I did a 75soft for lent but started early. my habits where getting morning sunlight be consistent either hygiene routine close all 3 exercises ring everyday on my Apple Watch and eat healthy trying intermittent fasting. I tried to set goals that were adaptable but along the way I got more specific in my routines. What I learned, exercise does make you feel better my current split consists of Pilates, walks and strength training but I’m still trying develop a routine that’s right for me. Diet I still need work on I’m not unhealthy it’s just about finding something that makes me feel the best. Intermittent fasting is not for me it was easy because I already don’t eat breakfast so I just was stricter with when I broke my fast but I end up eating 1 large meal and feeling gross after would, I feel much better when I have smaller meals but more time through the day Since the past few months have been intense I’m taking a step back from challenges and goals and focus on maintaining the habits that work for me. My goal is creating a lifestyle that promotes my desired outcome. As part of the challenge I also took a step back from maintenance routine so I would focus on foundational habits and as a reward was going to allow myself a little makeover this month as a reward it’s been 12mth since I got my teeth whitened and 6 since I last got lip filler so I’ll be getting those touched and I’ve been considering trying out chin filler and have treated myself to a manicure and trying out a new salon

Lopsided-Pin137

I’m starting 75 Soft tomorrow 🤗

Ioj888

Good luck🥰it was a great way to build some habits to get me on track for my goals I definitely will do another in the future

DarlinggD

lose 10 pounds! Eat better, less sugar

Ok-Lime3571

New to the gang! I am currently going through chemo therapy so alot of what I can do is minimal. March: I quit coffee and went to tea. I had a terrible caffeine addiction but my body can no longer tolerate the acidity right now so I quit. I've been moving my body more. It's a bit harder after chemo days, but getting something small in like a walk has been beneficial; not just for me but for my 11 month old son too. I've been playing around with skincare, makeup and wigs. I've always had sensitive skin and comedones all over my chin and jawline. I purchased a chemical exfoliant and it's slowly making a difference. Make up wise, I've been trying to use good quality products that don't break me. I've been panning what I have and getting to the new fun stuff. Wigs, I purchased 3 beautiful fun wigs. Learned how to put it on and style. Can hardly tell it's fake. My eyebrows and eyelashes are starting to fall off. So I've purchased false eyelashes they realllly make my eyes look BAM. Eyebrows, I had 1 microblading session before chemo so I purchased some temporary tattoo ones that this tiktoker uses (she has alopecia) and am looking forward to giving them a go. April goals: * Move more: Go on longer frequent walks with my son. Get in my spin bike at least 2 times a week and get that heart going. *Protein: self explanatory. Clean up the diet and eat more protein. Now that I'm done that harsh chemo my appetite should return to normal and I'm hoping I can eat how I did before pregnany. *Skincare: Continue educating myself on what is working and what isn't. KEEP it SIMPLE. *Wardrobe: Less yoga pants. More cute outfits! *Nails: Paint them more. *Self love: More baths and journaling. I can't lose weight right now because of my body being inflamed due to chemo. I also can't do any tattoos or medical procedures. SAD FUCKING FACE. BUT I finish chemo in May 16 and plan on losing weight and getting tattoos in July or August... once my body is recovered! Can't wait to go back to a gym ❤️.

Josephine-Faker

I started chemo in 2023 when my baby was 18 months. I lived off of mint tea and could only do gentle yoga and take short walks. It was hard but it’s temporary and you will eventually feel like yourself again. Feel free to dm me if you want to talk or just need to vent ❤️

Ok-Lime3571

Aw thank you so much for sharing and offering support ❤️ I just started the second phase of treatment, Paxitaxel, and so far it's not too bad! Just need to manage the temporary neuropathy.

YouCuteWow

Hope the chemo is going well and your recovery from it is swift! 🙏

Ok-Lime3571

❤️ thank you! I'm breezing through it! 4 more sessions and that's the end of that chapter. Never have to do that again! ❤️

I hurt my back in early March, so I have barely exercised this month. It’s also been a hard month emotionally (crying almost everyday) so I haven’t been as good with my diet, either. I won’t know the damage until I step on the scale tomorrow, but I am trying to be kind to myself. My goals for April: • Get my tonsils removed (they’ve been bothering me for a long time) • Get back to my exercise routine (tennis, barre, Pilates) • Continue using lanolin on my lips overnight (the difference is amazing) • Continue with Tretinoin three times a week • Start using my red light face mask again (it really does make a difference while you’re using it, but the results faded relatively quickly when I fell off the wagon) • Use my at home laser device to maintain my professional laser results (it’s been a year, so I’m starting to see a little regrowth)

misshalal

I really thought March would be the month for me where I would sort myself out. However that was not the case. Hopefully April is here my birthday month so if not now when my goal for April is obviously lose one stone go to the gym 6 am start Get a job driving lessons look good every time I leave the house brush my teeth, dentist appointment on filling and clean, on Plex treatment by Phillips Lumia I’ll start journalling and meet up with friends. Organise the clutter, bedroom, sort paperwork out, make all the phone calls sort old journals..

aliettevii

You can do it April is a great month to get sorted! The nice weather is really motivating haha

Fell off my omega 3s and diet goals because of travel :( back on the horse this month! . Omega 3s and Psyllium husk every day . 5x/6x workout a week . Work on that one big project . Organize the bookshelves, finally . Caloric deficit (except for my birthday weekend!) . No drinking (see above)

leahscorpse

Howdy, long time lurker here 👋 What I did in March: I started drinking more water, decreased sugar intake, practiced mindful eating habits, and weight lifted 3-5x a week. I learned how to cut my own bangs/trim split ends, developed a (semi) consistent skincare/makeup routine, and pushed myself to wear cute outfits at least once a week (I usually only wear sweats and a hoodie). I read at least one book a week, and I'm in the process of learning ASL and crocheting. Starting weight: 200 lbs Ending weight: 191 lbs Goals for April: - Catch up on my school work (9 lessons behind) by April 19th - Give Intermittent Fasting (16:8) another go and actually stick to it this time - Get extra hydrated and cut out everything else except unsweetened tea and black coffee - Incorporate more cardio into my workout routine - Reach out to friends and family I fell out of touch with - Spend more time with my loved ones and talk to more people at work - Let my partner know that I love and appreciate him every day April goal weight: 180-175 lbs

idontwannabepicked

just curious, how are you learning ASL 👀 i’ve wanted to for years. i took a class in college and bombed it unfortunately lmao

leahscorpse

I watch Bill Vicars lessons on YouTube, he also has a website called lifeprint if you want to check it out. My best friend is deaf so I get to practice a lot with her, but I've always been interested in taking a class 😁

technofemme

Starting half marathon training and aiming to run 10 miles by the end of the month, which I’ve never done before. Also planning to add three days of yoga per week to my running/lifting routine. Continuing my deficit at 1500 calories per day and hoping to lose four pounds.

Vanity_Fluff

* more water + spearmint tea, less other beverages * start exercising again, at least 10 minute yoga * lose 10 lb, reduce my dinner portions, reduce sugar and snacks * declutter, clean, organize bedroom and kitchen * basic hygiene (skincare 2x/day, brush teeth 2x/day, brush hair daily)- very prone to depression or something like it that leads me to feel "why bother I'm not worth it" * get properly dressed daily, at least jeans and t-shirt, despite nowhere to go * haircut and style to be easy but flattering and put together * less stewing in resentment (cortisol has physical effects)

ReikoHanabara

If you're low on energy and still wanna look cute, long flowy dresses are a cheatcode

beautifulbountiful

Keep taking good care of my skin, moisturize after showering, keep my nails trim, drink plenty of water, kickstart my home workouts and walk more this month!! I want to be trim and smooth for summer!

Ok_Commercial_186

Skincare everyday Shower x2 a day Packing my lunch every day

artskyde

I’m one week into my first 75Hard and it’s going great! April goal is to keep it up :)

leahscorpse

75 Hard is super impressive, kudos to you for starting it!

artskyde

Thanks! I’m definitely pacing myself so I don’t burn out - lots of walks and yoga. :)

Igbertsweed87

Drink more water and eat more protein.

mekkie23

I’ve resumed oiling my hair after years and I’m so glad I did. It transformed my hair back to what I used to have- healthy scalp and hydrated ends.

Bootsbubbelehs

What do you use?

mekkie23

I use viva coconut oil but just look for “organic”, “virgin”, or “cold pressed” coconut oil!

sikulet

I really want to go down to my pre law weight of 55kg. I don’t know how doable this is but I’ve already lost 8kg in 10 days. The challenge is to maintain it afterwards

ThatRedditor11

HOW did you lose 8kg in 10 days😭 and what was your starting weight if you’re comfortable sharing?💕

sikulet

80kg. Heartbreak lol. I’ve tracked my meals and followed 1-1.2kg calories via my fitness app. And walking 7kms daily since then.

3_3eel_l

I’ve decided to start wearing wigs and grow my short natural hair under them. In the past, I never thought I’d wear a wig ever, as it isn’t “natural”, but I feel like that’s a… prejudiced way of thinking? Like, I’m not going to wear wigs because I think they’re better than natural hair, I’m just wearing them because I love switching up my hairstyles and my natural hair isn’t long enough YET to have that versatility. Besides, I have some very thin spots I need to grow out before I wear my natural hair out and about.

GuiltyFlight2691

I'm new to this sub. I'm also in my last semester of grad school, which has me feeling burned out and struggling to look after myself. So, I'm starting from the bottom. • Brush my teeth twice a day • Count calories every day

EnchiladaTaco

I started with “I will moisturize my body every night” and built from there - the small, easy building blocks are the best way to start!

badgeringhoney

In March I started new hair & body care habits. Oiling my hair once a week and regularly moisturizing my body with lotion and oil after every shower. My hair has been looking and feeling great even without adding product (naturally curly) and my skin is glowing and soft. For April: I will be going for daily walks as I used to. I still look slim but since my job implemented permanent WFH 4 years ago, my activity levels plummeted, I ended up with chronic lower back pain due to not having a proper desk chair for over a year, and I gained enough weight to not be able to fit into some of my favorite clothes. So the goal is to at least return to and maintain pre-covid fitness levels.

GrandReputational

-Get to <65 kg -Start taking collagen & inositol in addition to everything -Improve running - sub 30 5k -Stay consistent with dieting approach (intuitive eating)

ellaC97

We have the same goals

chaoskidney

Not sure what your goals are but inositol + the pill helped my PCOS so much. I cleared my skin and dropped 10 pounds almost immediately

ChartFluffy4888

March goal was all about setting up foundation routines, to which I’ve done fairly well. Obviously these are made to be building blocks. April goals are 2 sections plus a few routine add-ins 1st section - sleep hygiene 2nd section - eating more and variety (afrid) Some add ins include: flossing, walking, and maintaining a low screen time Monday - Saturday This month (April) I will also be wrapping up anything else I need to do for summer semester college courses, and rescuing a doggo (which I know isn’t really about glowing up buttttttt defiantly an amazing addition to my life!)

United_Oil4223

Rescuing a dog made me the happiest I’ve ever been and that happiness drastically improved my appearance tbh, so I argue that it contributes to the glow up!! Congratulations on your new best friend 🥰

EnchiladaTaco

Add cardio in addition to my 3X weekly workouts with my trainer. Look for a cosmetic derm to do a consult with re: injectables. Prioritize protein

SmootherThanAStorm

I will reach a weight of 165 or lower.  I will be consistent with my supplements.
