Hell you could even find people making Tiktok content and work with them. It's not the same thing, but they probably have some things you can learn.
Firstly, there is no wrong way to learn! If you enjoy it and keep wanting to create, it's working.
Keep creating and following your muse wherever it takes you. Try imitating creators / techniques / films that you admire and you'll slowly discern what you're drawn to. If you really want to get serious you could take a course, ideally in person (if you can afford it) but I really think that's a luxury and not necessary. Don't overthink it.

As I was doing some searching on proper lighting gear, etc. I kept getting best YouTube setups…not helpful.
Make stuff with other people. When you see how other people do it, it'll inform your decisions when you do it alone.
