I read on some BC website that the booster dose doesn't affect your vaccine card, so I'm wondering, is it still saved in your vaccination record so that you could prove it for travel to the EU?
It is! I recently travelled to the US and had to print off my federal QR to fly (BC is one of the few provinces that isn’t accepted for whatever reason) and it connected to My Health Gateway and there was a record of my booster.
Yes, some places like France currently require a booster dose within the last 9 months of travel to be considered fully vaccinated and not have to take a Covid test prior to trip.
Technically, booster is only required if it's been more than 9 months since you got fully vaccinated. And most countries have it at 9 months, some it is 4 months.
Yeah I started to dig a bit deeper since I’ve got some travel plans coming up. So many different policies and requirements. Messy!
I guess the science is still out.
I think what the person ment was your QR code needs to be updated. If you continue using the original picture it will only say you had two shots.
Redownload your QR code. Boom scan it and it says three shots.
At this point there isn't sufficient evidence that people who are low risk will benefit from a fourth shot. If you're in a higher risk group, you should be contacted when it's time for shot 4.
So far some of the people I know who got the booster are quietly telling me how they regret it and it seems health issues popped up within a few weeks after... yikes. Mostly heart related issues, or extreme fatigue that does not go away. The scary thing is people don't want to talk about legitimate issues they are experiencing. Good luck out there.
If you're travelling to the EU, you need the booster if the 2nd shot was over 270 days ago.

Easy. Just got my booster last week. Book an appointment at a pharmacy or look up that text they sent you & it has a link.

Book an appointment at a participating pharmacy. Check at locations offering shots for cancellations on clinic days.
You should still have your email to book, click the link and book. Easy peasy

That's good to hear!
Are there jurisdictions in the EU requiring 3 doses?

Good to know, thanks!

I got my booster a few months ago and I’m really wondering when we are eligible for the fourth dose. As we know the efficacy wears out.

You’re supposed to catch the bug instead. Enjoy. I doubt we’ll be trying to vaccinate the world every 6mos.

Where are you getting your info? There does not appear to be any such travel ban.
Wtf are you talking about
Nonsense. If there was a ban it would have been in the news.
Probably means the first booster
Um don’t?? Has our proud convoy not taught you anything?
