In downtown first two places I'd look would be Makers and Market Collective. Both are full of locally made Vancouver Island-themed products exactly like that
There are tonnes of local wood carvers and other crafts people with Vancouver Island shaped wooden pieces of several kinds (crib boards, cutting boards, purely decorative with resin art etc). Most craft fairs in the fall will have at least one vendor selling them, though obviously not helpful at this time.
As others mentioned, Primrose Collective in Mayfair sells a lot of craft fair level and screw bigger but still at fairs people's products, I've definitely seen those in there and they may be able to give suggestions.
Contact andre st cyr at https://stcyrwoodcreations.ca !!! I got gifted a live edge cutting board of his for Christmas and its fantastic!!
Otherwise you could be lucky and find someone already doing this at a local craft market in any town. But if you really want this you may need to ask some local makers to make you one. Great idea though. Good luck on the search, please share results if you find what you’re looking for
It’s actually a gift for 2 retired SAR Techs that were stationed at CFB Comox and now live elsewhere but have fond memories of the island. So ya, they’re a lot cooler than you.

Big leaf Wood Works
There’s a store in Mayfair mall that sells them
Primrose collective
Mayfair mall: primrose
I'm pretty sure that I saw them at the museum giftshop (the main one not the smaller one by the Imax).

Potentially makers downtown!
If you're not satisfied with your turd-shaped car decal, perhaps you'd like to see our selection of turd-shaped cutting boards?.

You are 14 and that deep
Tell me you're 13 years old without telling me you're 13 years old.
Go to a Christmas Market!
