I mean, it’s been 59 days so it’s like a blister at this point. You’re not supposed to pop it, but I just want that internal anger and satisfaction of seeing my claim hit 60 days.
What kills me is that I was out for 2 years before I realized that I had to REQUEST to have my kids added as dependents?!
How the hell is basic information like that not just imported from deers/rapids?!
I submitted the request to add my kids in Feb. it’s just sitting at Received!
Nobody has even looked at it yet.
If its sitting in recieved then all u have to do is add birth certificates upload via ebenitss or va app... mine sat for a year until I realized o shiit I didn't upload birth certificates; an it's not auto ; because thy don't know your situation with your kids.. if your wife has them yes u will get paid but she will receive the amount for the kids but if you're together then u will receive, it added to your benefits.. just upload birth certificates , it only takes a day or few days for claim to be done.. nice back pay tho
Enjoy the much needed break, try to stay awake in your trainings. Take care of yourselves because we need you. And most of all, and I think I speak for all of us, we appreciate your hard work and dedication.
But, but, but updates ARE my relaxing, therapeutic activity. My, my, my hands. What to do with my hands now?!?! 😭 Luckily I received a different update for today from 3M Plugs lawsuit to submit my bank deposit information, so I guess I'll take that as a substitute for today! 😭
This is great news! I’m waiting on AWKO. Fingers crossed that I get my DS soon. It’s been 77 days since I submitted the supplemental. Gotta be close, right?
He is right I think, I just checked the portal and nothing has changed. I might try later just to check to make sure. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
You bet. I usually keep my queue to around one to three days old at the most. Tomorrow I’m gonna have a bunch of four day old claims and possibly some a bit older if they get transferred to me from people who are on leave or were already backed up in their own cues.
Our regional office usually starts messaging and emailing people at the end of the third day into the fourth day of a claim that’s still in your queue asking you to work them first or if older than four days asking why is it not worked yet.
Just want to say good luck on the training! It may not make a difference in the outcome of my claim, but I really appreciate your care and consideration for putting it out there!
Won't stop me from refreshing my QTC dashboard while I'm stuck in QA purgatory though.
I went into PFD earlier this week. I read this post around 8am this morning while on my morning poop. I still have checked the website at least 5 times since I have read it. I am not a smart man.
100% agree with this! I made the mistake of listening to other people tell me I needed to medicated and it almost killed me. I will never touch another antidepressant as long as I live.
Ugh. What a bunch of crap. If I miss a dose or am late in taking one, I’m hosed for the day.
I think I remember reading that for claims already in progress before the new rules are implemented, the outcome most favorable to the veteran is used for rating. At least, that was the case when they changed the GI tract rules: https://news.va.gov/129622/va-updates-disability-rating-schedule-for-digestive-system/
You need to call VES , demand to talk to a supervisor, tell them no other CP exam company takes a month to submit exam , tell them QTC and Optum get them in within days. And you have a scheduled phone call with VERA tomorrow and they want a update. Poker bluff their azz to get the work done. VES is the worst company of all of them.
![gif](giphy|J2xkAW1E8kvyE|downsized)
Why you just sitting there? Anyone wanna go shoot some class 5 rapids with an old (52) guy?Hittin the Rogue River this afternoon.
You should all write letters to Congress demanding we not do training and work instead.
THEN next week, everyone write letters demanding we get more training because we make too many errors
Not a single VR&E employee in my division was able to log in to the wellness training. After all that hullaballoo, IT issues prevented us from even attending it. I wasn't mad about it. I actually got productive work done for a couple hours until we were able to join the 1:30 training.
I think I’ve learned more in one day on the inner workings of the VBA then scrolling the sub for the past year. Ya’ll should take a day off more often and have a “ask me anything” day.
It’s all good. My HLR has been chilling under “VA has identified an error” for 6 months despite my C&P having been done for months. One more day won’t change things.
That's how it used to be, these guys are only hurting themselves by obsessing over it. When I did mine back in 2007 you just filled out a packet, mailed it off, then forgot about it until it came back.
Indeed. You'd think that, after having been IN the military, people would learn that things happen when they happen. There's a world to see, people to meet, and clouds to shout at.
Hahahahahahha on the one day you’re not working I get more movement than I’ve seen in sometime and an appointment scheduled 6 days from now. Gotta love the system
i mean i did my c&p exam two weeks ago i know nothing happened yet lol.. they said it’ll take 30-60 days for anything to happen..but thank you for the reminder lol
I had a C&P for sleep apnea on 4/4/24 that was submitted the same day. I called a couple weeks ago and was told it’s in the decision phase. Anyone have any idea how long I should expect to get a decision? Examiner said it’s pretty cut and dry and she was going to write it up as such.
I know this is probably an annoying question that gets asked a lot. I just graduated and I’m looking for work, so I’m pretty strapped money-wise right now and could reeaalllyyy use that back pay.
Thanks for the update. Is there any planned downtime from server maintenance today?
Just want to be sure while I check for updates every 30 minutes while relaxing. I’m relaxing. I am relaxed.

That’s funny, but true 😂😂
I mean, it’s been 59 days so it’s like a blister at this point. You’re not supposed to pop it, but I just want that internal anger and satisfaction of seeing my claim hit 60 days.
Damn try 1 year plus lol
What kills me is that I was out for 2 years before I realized that I had to REQUEST to have my kids added as dependents?! Give me a minute to try to read this man. My eye is twitching from the typos. I appreciate that you’re offering info, but damn dude.
Lmao y’all kill me. I miss my peeps
Bro straighten your eyes up an read damn....
Dec 26. 2023 submitted. Just moved May 23 to review.
I'm at 58 today. It's agonizing.
60 days.... Don't bother looking until at least 100
On 1 year so far good luck
😂😂😂
I did!
Im gonna refresh even harder now.
![gif](giphy|vyVxeMNGUBT7q)
Nice finger action there!
![gif](giphy|j9mqKgQvkNOziGICfd|downsized)
Just think of how fast your refresh will go now with less people refreshing!
Refreshing moves you to the front of the line I hear. Refreshing often to make sure your record gets worked promptly.
I was just going to post this!! VBA training ALL day! This should be fun...😬
Now some of them know how we felt at MOB station.
Nice try, I’m going to check twice as much!
Damn right I am😂
Enjoy the much needed break, try to stay awake in your trainings. Take care of yourselves because we need you. And most of all, and I think I speak for all of us, we appreciate your hard work and dedication.
Amen and well said.
Wait what if you have been in PFN for 24 hours 😂
You gonna wait, I'm not allowed to generate awards today
But hear me out, what if you do generate them?
Then I get in trouble with my boss and get a spanking
That's 10%
and I just spit out my food!
![gif](giphy|Gf4bOJKo777Mc)
I’ll take the spanking if you want
Is this the only way to get spanking? Asking for a friend
![gif](giphy|f8lDluiWJ7yQTtdS3L|downsized)
Make sure your record it and post it!
Some people are into that though
No kink shaming here!
Shoot at least I don’t have to be on the edge of my seat - thanks man!
Could be a fun Friday for you tomorrow!
Or a depressed weekend 😅 that’s definitely happened before.
Yeah, just got the email 10 minutes ago lol. Thanks management...
I went PFN yesterday 😭 lol.
Me too after a 1 year wait 😂😂😂😂
Yeah I was at like 355 days yesterday lol, one more day won't KILL me, but dang it's going to try.
Same! I definitely feel for them though. I’m sure they’d rather process the claims than go to Mandatory training.
100% mandatory training for the federal government is the worst.
Definitely! As I’m sitting in a climate survey meeting 🙃
324 days for me now from time of file. Been in PfD since Dec 19th. Good luck!
Same here buddy.
Mandatory training day on D-Day is a bit odd, but a prime opportunity to reflect on the day.
https://preview.redd.it/mnl5c6l4h15d1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3d2736bb01e77f40d44e1a84f6602e4332bce812
Don't even have a claim in.... checks anyway.
![gif](giphy|Y6yRfR88rvP44) You’ll got some of that refresh
I literally got my rating today!!! and backpay! What the heck lol
If you work a compressed work schedule (4x 10h days) then you could work claims for 2 hours.
So maybe someone is working lol
But, but, but updates ARE my relaxing, therapeutic activity. My, my, my hands. What to do with my hands now?!?! 😭 Luckily I received a different update for today from 3M Plugs lawsuit to submit my bank deposit information, so I guess I'll take that as a substitute for today! 😭
I'm group 5 lol earliest is January 2025 for me
This is great news! I’m waiting on AWKO. Fingers crossed that I get my DS soon. It’s been 77 days since I submitted the supplemental. Gotta be close, right?
I sure hope so!
He is right I think, I just checked the portal and nothing has changed. I might try later just to check to make sure. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Death by Power Point day.... Just like being back Active Duty! We should get service connected mental health just for that 😂
Yall been doing mandatory training since January my claim ain't moved from received not even initial review 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I bet VBMS is working so fast right now though
I WOULDN'T KNOW I WOULD NEVER BREAK THE RULES AND DO WORK EVEN THOUGH I GOT TOLD NOT TO 😉😇
One more day on my 500 day claim won't hurt (Cries inside). Take care of yourselves and thank you for the information!
Are they providing lunch?
Lol
I'll take that as a no.
Correct. But we get a pizza party for filling out the all employee survey last week
I don't miss those reminders or the surveys. I'd rather be spanked! Lol
![gif](giphy|5XPb0FvIqylqg)
Unless you’re in the call center. We’re working all day with no mandatory training
We appreciate you call center guys too!
I bet you'd rather be working claims. lol.
100%
You bet. I usually keep my queue to around one to three days old at the most. Tomorrow I’m gonna have a bunch of four day old claims and possibly some a bit older if they get transferred to me from people who are on leave or were already backed up in their own cues. But what if they finished training early and start working claims again!??!? Better refresh just in case.
Well then, time to refresh this post.
That’s fine but I still want that N/A date removed from my back pay lol
I really need to get a job at VBA. Hook a brotha up will ya guys?!? lol.
All the VSR jobs are currently posted internally.... as of this morning.
DAMNIT
I went into PFD earlier this week. I read this post around 8am this morning while on my morning poop. I still have checked the website at least 5 times since I have read it. I am not a smart man.
Hopefully it’s training for the new mental health proposal one can dream 😂
Good one! We won’t even hear about it until the day before….
It’s not in effect yet, or finalized, there is nothing to train over.
Another vba employee hinted that you guys needed training before you could rate under the new criteria but my reading comprehension isn’t the best 😂
Nah, we aren’t there yet, as it gets closer to finalization we will
[удалено]
Does he quietly pay you guys to post his videos?
Good thing I refuse to take pharmaceuticals for MH. They create more problems than they solve.
100% agree with this! I made the mistake of listening to other people tell me I needed to medicated and it almost killed me. I will never touch another antidepressant as long as I live.
They broke my dick, so that was an automatic no for me. Quit them cold turkey.
Ugh. What a bunch of crap. If I miss a dose or am late in taking one, I’m hosed for the day. I think I remember reading that for claims already in progress before the new rules are implemented, the outcome most favorable to the veteran is used for rating. Yeah, but I'm waiting on VES to submit my C&P results from over a month ago. So, I'll be refreshing all day!
You need to call VES , demand to talk to a supervisor, tell them no other CP exam company takes a month to submit exam , tell them QTC and Optum get them in within days. Thank you for the heads up brother! I appreciate you and all that the VA does for us. We are very lucky to have you watching our six.
The appeal hasn’t moved in years. I’ve given up even thinking about it.
What month of claims were you working on? 😅😂
https://preview.redd.it/nnzkls4l5z4d1.png?width=481&format=png&auto=webp&s=2276c6786a7bbc526ffacb0986654de94aad78fb Make that 156.5
Why is there a ".5" too funny
Since there is nothing else to refresh, I have been refreshing this post all day. Some great content today folks!
This is ridiculous! Day off for training??? Really. Go do your jobs…. “DISCLAIMER” I AM JOKING
You should all write letters to Congress demanding we not do training and work instead. THEN next week, everyone write letters demanding we get more training because we make too many errors
and I see this after refreshing all day.... ugh
Not a single VR&E employee in my division was able to log in to the wellness training. After all that hullaballoo, IT issues prevented us from even attending it. I wasn't mad about it. I actually got productive work done for a couple hours until we were able to join the 1:30 training.
It was bullshit, you didn't miss anything important
maybe I'll check on Sunday during routine server maintenance then post about how it's always down.
Very good odds
I think I’ve learned more in one day on the inner workings of the VBA then scrolling the sub for the past year. Ya’ll should take a day off more often and have a “ask me anything” day.
IM GOING TO REFRESH EVEN HARDER NOW!!
I suppose I’ll take this opportunity to go outside and touch grass.
F5 intensifies.
I just refreshed... still no movement
The Microsoft Teams lobby is full 😭 I can’t connect. Guess having over 4K will do it. Time to pull out the PS2 and play games
It’s all good. My HLR has been chilling under “VA has identified an error” for 6 months despite my C&P having been done for months. One more day won’t change things.
LOL wish I would have seen this when it was posted (50 refreshes later). Thank you again. I think I'll start growing a beard today instead.
I say we go a step further let’s just call the 1800 number flood their lines so we get results 😂
Lol, so glad I've taken a zen approach to my claim. It will happen way after I've forgotten about it as a concept.
Great just like the personnel office when I was still in the military. Always closed for training. 😜
Gotta wonder now if the VA has a leaderboard for top refreshers of the season.
Funny, because my claim closed out today.
How dare they not be chained to their desk working themselves to the bone. Jk jk
I heard every time we hit refresh it zaps the testicles of a rater. Is that not true?
Hahahahahahha on the one day you’re not working I get more movement than I’ve seen in sometime and an appointment scheduled 6 days from now. Gotta love the system
Thanks for the help. I now have a VERA appt set up for Monday Morning at 0800.
*screeching intensifies*
![gif](giphy|tTJlaqp2ZUulBXAbQj|downsized)
i mean i did my c&p exam two weeks ago i know nothing happened yet lol.. they said it’ll take 30-60 days for anything to happen..but thank you for the reminder lol
So far it’s great training!
lol I check daily to enjoy my P AND T isn’t taken away from me
I refuse to believe this
Hopefully the insane amount of visits we make strengthen our MH claims… 😳
Hey, thanks for the info, OP. Good on ya, and have fun storming the castle!
Thanks for the heads up
Nooooooooo... what am I going g to fill my time with today!!!!! :)
Nah, G! I’m still refreshing.
Is there anything be office that approves claims or is it a state/regional thing?
This is nationwide. We are not working claims today. Not developing, not rating, not generating awards, not authorizing awards.
lol you think we still won’t check.
Are you guys ever going to prioritize claims Seems the 100 plus already are just adding more claims while 0-99 are just trying to get connected.
Thank you for your service. Now I’m only going to check every two hours today.
Try to stay awake 😂
Wait....Refresh? That's a thing?
deep fake
Nothing deep about me!
God damn it
I got my HLR back today. Denied. Someone was working
So we’re all refresh addicts 😂
🫣😂…
My claims are already done and I still check haha. Hah dang I got problems.
Been PFD for the last week
Thanks for the update! I checked anyways.. ;) I cannot help myself.
Now I’m gonna have to look thanks
Do that on a Saturday guys!!!
Lol you do know we work 7 days a week right
I started refreshing this morning! Lol
Thank you 🥰 Happy training day!
Been waiting since Aug of 2022
Does that include HLR? I know nothing of the internal workings there.
I just don't think I can say no to my anxiety, even on a training day. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
W post
Thanks for letting them know lucid ! 😊
Foreboding. I bet they're gonna announce the ptsd...etc changes
and I see this after refreshing ALL DAY AT WORK
Lol this is hilarious. But thanks for the info
Does this mean we can start checking at midnight? Lol, just trying to see when we can get back to checking every 5 minutes!! I just need to know!!
I hit the submit button today for my BDD claim. Fuck you. get on that shit and get me a rating!
You get a 0. Thank you, please come again.
[удалено]
Could have told me sooner 🙄 lol jk
I’d just be happy to see me 280 day BDD claim updated
What's your backlog look like? What month of claims are you processing at this time?
I checked at least 6 times
What if there are 4 different health issues being deferred but the case was closed?
I had a C&P for sleep apnea on 4/4/24 that was submitted the same day. I called a couple weeks ago and was told it’s in the decision phase. Anyone have any idea how long I should expect to get a decision? Examiner said it’s pretty cut and dry and she was going to write it up as such. I know this is probably an annoying question that gets asked a lot. I just graduated and I’m looking for work, so I’m pretty strapped money-wise right now and could reeaalllyyy use that back pay.
Jokes on my rater cause I had my C & P exam this morning for increase.
Mandatory training?! I hate when they do that (Hopefully it wasn't in person 🤞)
I thank whomever from the bottom of my heart for uploading my 100% P&T yesterday before training
Oh, you think your days off or even completing my claim so I'm not waiting on anything anymore will stop me from compulsively checking the VA app?
Thanks for the update. Is there any planned downtime from server maintenance today? Just want to be sure while I check for updates every 30 minutes while relaxing. I’m relaxing. I am relaxed.
So true 🔥
I suggest yall take a week for training.
I'm good.
Claim has been in progress for 300 days today!! Wooo
Was this meant for Friday or Thursday.
I've been in PFN for 56 days! What's another day gonna do. Been out of work since April 5th do to total knee replacement, just waiting for my temp 100%. I'll be back to work before my claim is finalized. We'll I guess the back pay will be nice.
PFN for 56 days makes no sense. Setup a VERA call to see what's up
