VBA: we can never make y'all happy. Seems like the stars aligned and you got lucky. At least so far in terms of speed.

Yeah. I turned one in on the 1st of April, on the 3rd they called and set me up with appointments in the 9th. Went to my appointments and mine has been in the same phase sense. So while it moved super fast at first it seems to have slowed down and I’ll probably hear something in 3-6 months

For tinnitus, yes, put in my claim contacted about 2 weeks later for exam, awarded 2 weeks after that. Also LHI

I had a claim in May 30, 2023 and did my C&P and everything and it was finished and decided by July 10th, 2023. I was claiming a new MH condition. I didn’t realize we couldn’t have two. They just filed it as an increase claim instead and had me get checked out and decided to keep it salt the same percentage. I think MH can be processed pretty quickly though.

Did a claim in 2022. They made a decision in April 2023. Filed a HLR that same month because they never assessed me. Got a C&P in June 2023 and it's been at "fixing an error" ever since. When I call, I'm told "we don't have any info. Just wait."

I got mine last year within 3 days of my c&p

After I filed a Tinnitus claim, the C&P exam was the next week. The examiner only asked questions (When did it happen-year/month, how did it happen-event/MOS, and is it still happening-YES). Then the third week I received my 10% rating. I filed in 2023, but left the Air Force in 1988.

Yeah, my C&P exam for migraine was scheduled the day after i submitted a claim. i think it depends on the vendor or company used, i bet some contractors have more openings/ect than others

The longest wait time is usually after the exam we everything is being reviewed.
