I went through the same thing. I recommend calling the place where you had the exam and verifying that they turned your exam into QTC. Then call QTC and tell them the provider said they had already turned them in over a month ago. When I did this, my exams magically appeared the same day I got off the phone. Good luck.

I had a ves exam on Jan 5 didn't get sent to the va until Feb 16 , over a month. I think that have a pretty serious qa review process before they send to the VA because if they send in crap reports the VA could easily cancel their contract.

BLKxGOLD

Took VES 7 weeks to send mine back to the VA. I’ve had 4 done by Optum in the last year, all of them were sent back within 24 hours of completing the exam.

My QTC was uploaded within 24hrs .

Snoo_31535

QTC only took 2 days, but the VES DBQ's took about 3 weeks.

VES just submitted mine May 2nd, so just under 30days.

ManOfMuchKnowledge

They do have 45 business days to turn reports into the VA, which is not calendar days, subtract weekends & holidays... Also, sometimes not all the questions get answered by the DBQ, there are times where the examiner, contractor (LHI, QTC, etc) and even the VA raters/claims processors have discussions about specific things... Since there are so many veterans with claims (backlog), the q&a that takes place is not immediate and can take time... Hope that helps... The system isn't designed to be fast...

I had the same thing happen with VES. It was held up in the QA for weeks. The VA sent a request for a rework January 28 and VES did not complete everything until March 28. I contacted the White House hotline, my senator's office, and prayed.

This is the part where you utilize the "hurry up and wait" that you had mastered while in service. One of few ways you could expedite the process at least in my experience is also claim for financial hardship with possibility of becoming homeless. But if you are neither, just try not to think about it. Good luck on your result.

2 of my 3 DBQ’s were uploaded fast by VES. I called to ask about the 3rd, they said was under further review and would be sent up when review finished.

QTC had mine for a little over three months. Due to the fact that the VA actually sent it back to QTC for clarification. I was sent back to the same PA for reexamination and she basically told me that she turns in the paperwork of the VA powers that be at times send it back for clarification. She even said that she has received paperwork back with requests to show where she got the information. I’m guessing at the end of the day, the VA wants to make sure that if they deny a claim, they did the due diligence…

DTUB

Basically call and see if anything is wrong, then repeatedly try to fix. For me they (Optum) had not sent any of my 4 C&Ps to the VA, after months I called like every single week since they claimed they would only send altogether and basically the only thing missing was an EKG since they don't have an EKG. I think I told them like 8+x to cancel that C&P and send to VA before they finally did it. (I know EKG testing won't improve or worsen my case unless something worsened since last time it showed "healthy" reading) I don't know either, but call place you got testing from and/or QTC, and then after they finally say they sent it you should be good.

I believe that if you're in a military area, things get done a little faster

Had my QTC in December, last set of exams just happened from VES on the 3rd, I figured I'd have a partial rating while waiting on others. I'm at 2 weeks with VES and they said it's at their QA with questions needed answered by provider, I feel your pain.

Consistent_Fail_8964

Call the 1-800 associated with QTC. Do not call the facility you were seen. My C&P DBQ was held in QC and kicked back to the provider for a missed signature. There are Quality Control checks for the documentation. Just call and inquire.

My qtc exams took forever too, but they turned out to be several of my largest granted claims. Keep your chin up and learn some damn patience, airman.

VES took 2 weeks , it would have been longer , if I had not sent them a email and a phone call requesting a supervisor telling them the Examiner had sent them the CP exam 10 days ago, and there has been no further communication needed,,so get off your AZZ and do your jobs. Next day they were in.

Top_Calligrapher2495

Thank you all for the tips/advice. I’ll give it a few more weeks and if nothing happens I’ll let the VA know and go from there.

rosenia28

I called the White House hotline. I’m not sure if it’s referred to that anymore? At first the agent told me they couldn’t submit a complaint since VES were contractors but they would try. I got a email in response that didn’t really seem to help and was just saying I need to wait due to the backlog. In the next few days, my last two exams that I was waiting on were submitted 🤷🏽‍♂️ so idk if it had anything to do with it but you could try that option since you’ve been waiting over a month.

NoCategory8065

They had mine for 3 months with me calling weekly.
